I like Chernarus a lot. Yes it could use some rivers definitely and few more enterable buildings (not all though), but I like it a lot. Also country side from The Walking Dead series would work I guess. Some small towns near highways, farms, corn fields and so on.

It makes me a tad sad everytime some "pro" PK douche brags, how he killed some unarmed fresh spawn (preferably by .50 cal from 500m+) or fooled somebody by saying friendly, then shooting him in the back. Yes this is sandbox, yes it has only so much sand atm, so more and more ppl fall to senseless PKing. But do you really think you are cool and awesome by feeding on other people's grief? I mean one thing is to duke it out on NWA or Stary, meaning well equipped people shooting each other, but killing of unarmed and having a boner because of it? Dunno, feels a bit stupid to me. Oh well, enjoy being dbags, make video out of it and then circle j%rk on forums about it, it's your call.

Well cant say it was uber exciting. Guy was parked on the road, you came, he tried to run away and you shot him and steal his bike. For me, most interesting was picking up the guy that was being eaten by zombies, was that your friend?

He has it although it might be rather green then red. Anyway some people love Kobra/Aimpoint colimators over good ole ironsights of AKM / M4+M16. EDIT:To the OP>would you rather have only AKM/Enfield as low tier weapons? Wouldn't it be boring? I say variety is the spice of life and I would love to have a bit more low tier weapons ( SA vz58, Skorpion smg, some civilian 5,56 semi-auto rifle etc).

Do not know about you guys, but im pretty excited about the new patch and cant wait. btw would be nice bonus for players, if former bandit skin was included as lootable camo, but I do realise that it's nothing important (still would be like throwing candy to fat kid :P )

This kinda felt more wrong then random snipers in the way that it felt more real. Imagine fked up postapo world when people form rag tag groups, it would be very likely that they would harras (kill,maim,rape) random loners because they would have the numbers to enforce whatever they wanted. Good thing is that few of these guys realised that it is a bit messed up what they were doing.

I do not risk giving unknown players, that do not even reply on direct chat, any weapons. Yesterday we met a guy crawling through Elektro. He had broken legs so I gave him morphine (I guess he would get to the hospital eventualy if not being shot). He just stared at us (we had guns, he did not) and then just ran way. Also later that day, we found unconscious guy in some house. Again he had no weapon, just czech backpack. I dragged him away from doors, moments later he woke up. We talked a bit (damn direct voice chat is so damn SILENT for me), I asked him if he needs something, he said some food but did not have anything to trade for it. I gave him can of beans and pepsi, said goodbye and went away. I know some will call me carebear, but it kinda felt good to help somebody a bit. Dont get me wrong,if somebody shoots at me or run at me swinging his axe, I will gun him down if I manage to. Its just that its nice to give people luxury of doubt. This ofcourse gets damn harder when you meet people equipped to the teeth that usually shoot first and ask later. That might be the reason that I enjoy spawning fresh on coast, gathering basic supplies, low tier guns (enfield, shotty or such) and then interact and help people, or fight bandits etc. As the mod is, there is not much to do and for me these coastal stories (cherno and elektro mostly) are what interests me most. Camping some spot for ages and killing people from hundreds of meters away with sniper rifle is not my thing (I know many people will disagree). Anyway message to all folks that are still trying to be friendly. DON'T GIVE UP...but be cautious as hell :).

Heh I think I have suggested this some time ago as well, but I was probably not alone. I also think that Alice pack is way outdated and while cool and functional, I think that newer cz backpack should take its place of being 20 slot and Alice should be moved to being 16 slot. Also CZ pouch should have some special function other then being 6 slot good for nothing backpack. Anyway lets be honest, this is probably very low on priority list for devs, still i hope that once this mod/game is "retail", then we will have more camo clothing, more backpacks, more weapons and more importantly more stuff to do then find guns and kill each other.

Yea there is really no reason why not to be able to holster / lower your pistol same as with rifle. It's a bit crazy, Arma supports this great way of moving your head with ALT, which looks realistic and cool but at the same time it do not allow you to lower pistol, you cant silently crawl with pistol out and you also can not access inventory while being prone with pistol in hand (works with rifle equipped though).

We saw interesting firefight few days ago. 2 guys with ATV shooting at some guys with UAZ which were refuelling at gas station. Fight ended up with us killing atv guys and the other folks fleeing in their UAZ. Was pretty intense I can tell ya! The weird thing was that 1 or 2 people "spawned" near that ATV in the end of fight and started shooting at us. Really dont understand how they got there unless cheating.

Its nice to see that some bandits might have regrets about killing fresh spawns & newbies.

Seems you like to kill survivors for fun, not sure what else to say.

Its most likely because they can, because they have upper hand (Better equip and position) and also because our little sandbox does not have that many sand and tools atm.

What might also help a bit if EVE online gets some expansion and so many of these KOS lunatics go back to where they came from ie. griefing people in "secure" sectors because they get enjoyment only if it ruins someone else's day.

I can give you credit for not being D/Cer, that is true. Being well equipped, start fight and then D/C, that is ultimate douchbaggery. On the other hand when well armed group stalk fresh spawns, then I dont see that as much of a challenge,but yes, from time to time you can encounter fully equipped griefers down there and take their stuff. Saw your video and it did not see you were choosing whom to kill or not though (was pretty much KOS anything). But yea, I realise this game is letting us do whatever we want and at this moment there is not much else then to kill other folks once you have some gear. I really hope that Rocket will put more and more stuff into this mod/game to keep players bussy. Personally I would love if players could clear, fortify and hold some settlements, or create them from scratch. And then if some fractions would emerge, with way how to visualy differentiate (like different camo or atleast diff.color bandanas or such) and then maybe wage war againts each other. I know that theoreticaly you can do it now....but it seems rather hard when most people shoot anyone they meet.
