beta 95417, dayz 1.7.2.4, server cz01 / cz02 Getting bad artifacts in Chernogorsk and Balota. I was able to town it down a bit with setting video memory to highest,then back to default,but they were still there. My buddies got it definitely worse, almost unplayable for them in some places. My friend has told me that he can 1 shot zeds to the body with 1911 though!? He has 1.7.2.4 as well and should have also latest beta and official 1.6.2 too Both cz01 / cz02 had bugged loot, I saw axes and crowbars everywhere + backpacks but not much else. But that might have been problem with these servers specifically (maybe needed restart or so). Could not give transfusion to my buddy although he gave it to me like an hour ago. All I got was "inspect body" although my buddy was alive ofc. Not sure if it was just a lag, because I was inspecting dead player like 30 mins before that. Players tried to axe me on two different occasions,but thats problem of human race, not this mod/game :-D. My friend got axed twice when he was alt+tabing, I was able to avenge him once though eh. Found ghillie suit,gave it to friend and he could wear it without any problems so far.

Not sure if you still loose stuff when swimming. I once discovered boat on deep waters, it was near Drakon, I just grabbed a jerry can, swam to it and refulled it without problems. Sadly it turned out that it was the slowest boat possible, slower then running so I had to ditch that floating junk.

So far only went to Krasnostav and all seemed fine. Also found ghillie so yes,they are spawning back. Have to test M1911 on Zeds and how much they hear guns shots...

Personally I dont mind Lee Enfield now taking 2 shots to kill a player. It is most common rifle, it was NOT used only to counter equipped griefers comming down south as some ppl like to pretend, ammo was also abundant. If you score headshot it still one shot kills and once we finally get some form of D/C prevention then you can manage to kill players in two shots without problems. On the other hand I dont understand pistol & smg nerf as it seems a bit too steep now.

So instead of fixing ammo exploit,we will ubernerf these pistols to make them almost useless? Make total sense man...

I kinda liked that "HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA" part of his story. Truth is the rest was rather poo.

I like to have 3 morfines & painkillers & bandages and atleast 1 blood bag. Weaponwise I usually carry just 1 primary as I hate having bag crippled with another rifle there. Pistol:1911 or Glock (for M9 SD ammo usage against Zeds) Rifle: AKM or FN FAL if I stumble upon heli crash. Love to find Lee Enfield or Winnie shortly after respawn, very nice weapons! Double barreled shotty is a poo since it has crappy iron sights (looks like barrel is pointing a tad to the ground) and also 2shot ammo clips are eating inventory space like crazy even if you can convert 4x2 clip into 1x8 clip for better inv management. But if they would fix 2barrel shotty iron sights I would actually like that weapon because it kinda seems real to find it, more then the rest of rifles& AR's.

I would be tad unhappy to loot whole NWA and Sobor only to find common AKM and a M9SD that you can loot from deerstands or firestations quite often. But yea, nice to go there and not get shot for once :P Btw lately I find most fun for me is to respawn and mess around Elektro / Cherno getting shot at, running from Zeds and gathering basic suplies. Once I play for few days and have ok equipment (FN Fal / M14CCO that kind of stuff) I get a bit bored eventually.

It's happening to the majority of players I believe. Not everybody will turn to 100% killing machine though, but tell me this, when you see man stopping his bike near gas station to fill it up and you happen to be 50 meters away in a tree line with fully loaded Enfield (or better), will you not put a bullet into his back and steal his bike? True story! Btw few days ago I gave morphine to unknown survivor crawling around elektro and then gave beans & coke to some surivor I've found that passed out in one of the red houses on the outskirts of this town. It's easier to be nice to unarmed (or with axe at most) survivors,then to those armed to the teeth.

Back when I was playing Battlefield 3, people were pissed off because Punkbuster same as you are at Battleye. Sad truth is, that we are not winning the war with cheaters / hackers, they are always one or more steps ahead :(

Nice story. What saddens me is, that most PKers probably do not experience anything like this. They most likely just kill people to get that murder count up and they try to justify it by calling it "surviving of the fittest". The sad thing is that they are robbing themselves of this great experiences you have described.

Thats true...and I hate it! I cant tell to my buddies that I wear white shirt,because they probably see me wearing completely different colors. Really makes harder to identify your buddies which is kinda bad. I hope that Rocket adds some kind of differentiation soon, I think he has mentioned adding of clan / faction stuff, so hopefully we will get an options to wear certain color be it as scarf, or bandana, hat etc.

Best sniper might be Lee Enfield! You can find it easily, lots of ammo and it's simply powerfull. On the side note I believe that forum dwellers agreed that AS50 is best since its not as loud as M107, uses both its own and m107 mags, has zeroing up to 1600m and seems a bit shorter then m107. Dragunov and DMR are 2nd league with it's smaller calibre anyway.

I can understand your attachment to ole trusty Winnie. If you have slaughtered dozens of zombies with it, how could you let it go easily? It's like letting your old friend go for a new,more trendy one. It does not feel right! If you are not much into PvP I think you can do ok with Winnie anyway. Professional bandits will not give you much of a chance to shoot back anyway and AKM will attract them from bigger range anyway. On the other hand its more safe to shoot Zeds with a pistol so you might do ok with AKM (for pvp selfdefence) + pistol (for zombie slaying). All in all it really boils down to what you prefer, if you RP and things like that. p.s. regarding weapon dilema, I could not decide between FN FAL (wihtout nv) and M14+aimpoint. In the end I took FN FAL, had like 6 mags for it, iron sights seems nice (a bit like Lee Enfield) and it has also burst fire for close encounters.

Yea sometimes you get lucky and find packed up corpses. Wonder what has happened there. Did some sniper took these 2 survivors? Or did they kill each other? Damn, I would love to know. Anyway nice you had chance to relieve their dead bodies of valuable survival tools, they no longer needed them anyway. My last night was kinda mixed. Spawned nearby our tent in woods, then some surv totally by accident found our tent and shot me. Turned out it was one of people I have in Steam friend list lol, so he did not steal anything and put my stuff back to the tent. So I've spawned west of Elektro. Had a chase with zeds,bled a bit. Was lucky and found Lee Enfield, some food and coke, so I went up north. As I was strolling through forests I stumbled on nearby gas station. Thats nothing special except that 2 guys on dirt bike have just arrived. I had quick inner fight with morality and then shot 1 of them with my trusty Lee Enfield (that rifle is simply beast!!). He stumbled into coma and D/C'ed. His partner ran around a bit and then D/C'ed too so I have took their dirt bike and rode happily up north to our tent. Its true that in DayZ,you make your own story and sometimes its really a good one! :-D

Seems we will get patch today since some servers are now enforcing update! So after all Rocket probably will meet his release date for 1.7.2.4 :D

I think there are too many places to get best loot. Why there are like 4-5 crashed helis after reset? I think 1 heli crash per reset would be enough and would be good to avoid everyone running with thermal L85 or .50 Cal sniper. Also deerstand loots might be toned down a bit and also more shotguns and less AR could spawn down in Cherno/Electro.

I wish these were removed or made terribly rare and so their ammo, plus we would need to fix magazine replenish upon relog bug as this is making them ridiculously overused.
