I was forced to uninstall whole steam and reinstall it as well as arma 2. Maybe fortune will smile on me and dayz will work like a charm ech.

I have this problem too, friend told me that he saw server message that my battleye client stopped respoding. Sadly I did not get this message, only black screen with "loading", so usually I have to kill Arma2oa in task manager. Some people reported that latest beta helps a bit, will try and hope for the best.

While messing with Arma 2 I managed to fk it up so much, that it no longer recognise PMC and BAF DLC's (I've bought them) but shows only LITE version with blurry textures. Oh well thats what you get for moving Steam folder to different disc! Anyway before it messed up I managed to find, that glitches were a less drastical for me. I still had them,but flushing was helping somehow and most glitches I had were I think from barbed wire that was half stuck in ground (like on stairs to market in Elektro or such). So maybe we are slowly getting to stage when glitches will be squashed to the ground.

Seriously why are we even playing, when we can't bunny hop or dolphine dive at all? Luckily we still have .50 cals and thermal L85A or COD kids would probably have to go elsewhere :-(.

What a beautifull, yet totaly stupid idea, that only former carebears would hack. If anything, I would expect some stupid COD kiddies to use hacks in some deranged attempt to look more l33t or to have epeen stroked. I guess that OP was just bored when doing his bushwookie routine on the hill overlooking Cherno/Elektro with trusty AS50 and felt like he have to troll some way.

A bit reckless attempt to be friendly but personally, after he started shooting at you, I would shoot back as well. But yeah, you were dicking around and having fun so you were probably ready to die anyway :) . Btw Im on small quest to obtain hero skin myself, but it seems more realistic to get it by shooting bandits,then approaching folks and offering transfusions and morphine.

How much humanity for bandit kill? :) Also will I gain humanity when I shoot bandit that did not attack me? If yes, then I can freely hunt those ninja cowl dudes although many of them will wear ghillie anyway.

Very well done I have to admit. They did a good job and recorded special sounds for DayZ as well as motion-captured zombie walk animations and all that for free mod. Ofcourse they will reuse a lot of this stuff in standalone, but still we are getting a lot for free in this mod! edit:love the ending sequence with screams and romantic music!

I have bought DLC Private Military companies and British armed forces and i have survivor skin hires as well as ghillie and DMP camo. So buy these two and you should be good provided that you have bought Combined operation so that you have full Arma 2 and Arrowhead. Btw I wonder what stuff from recently released DLC Army of Czech republic will Rocket add to DayZ mod. I suspect that maybe the dog model since there is some dog mission in ACR DLC.

Dude you are really getting annoying now with your so called fix. Many people tried and it DOES NOT fix it for everyone got it?

I still think that mini patch addressing graphical glitches should have been released first. Only once graph.glitches were stomped would I start adding dogs , bear traps or bigfoot. So yea I'm a bit sad about current situation but then it alteast drove me to explore world of Arma 2 (+ACE and ACRE mods) and boy, it is IMMENSE FUN! I found it hard to return to DayZ to try new patch, because after certain time you might get bored a bit of every random dbag sniping,axing or generally molesting you while you did not pose any threat to them nor did you have any special stuff for them to take (it will be probably killing spree to get that cool bandit "mummy head" now). So guys if you feel like DayZ is trolling you,try some Arma 2 multiplayer. If you can find server promoting team play, you might have a blast playing it provided you are not Call of Duty bunny hopper addict.

Sorry but my friend got AA disabled and video memory on default, still glitches!! I will try to mess with graphic settings myself, but even though at first I did not have any glitches (in Elektro) once we arrived in Cherno (neard hospital), both me and friend had glitches again. So no, that issue IS NOT solved at all.

Btw is this the new "hero skin" added in this patch? I just found this picture on google,so not sure.

Updated to latest beta ARMA2_OA_Build_95883, grabbed 1.7.2.5. from http://uk1.dayz.nu/latest/ . Joined server, quite fast, saw message that I was killed and I've appeared in debug forest. Quited and went to another server, spawned on the beach without anything (bye coyote backpack), with 9400 blood (as I have before) and also with kill counter showing some numbers. Now when I am joining servers, Im often stuck at black screen with "loading" :-(. Friend did the same installation and he is playing fine and he has reported no glitches in Cherno / Elektro and he was even in Fireguard station which was glitching as **** for us before. Oh and my other friend is now getting some weird error "cannot open objects dayz\characters\man_survivor.p3d" which we have seen for the first time. Deleting @dayz and updating via SixUpdater then extracting 1.7.2.5. there did not help anyway.

Guys you made me shiver in fear again.... Ok will try myself and pray that 1 flush will fix this although really not sure.

Sorry but I couldn't relax with all these gaphical glitches that prior patch has caused. Hopefully these pesky glitches are gone now. edit: I've updated via sixupdater

What's sad is the fact that you can never be sure, if you got pwned legally or by hacking douche. That kinda spoils the moment...

Hmm almost seems like you are too scared to play during daytime, when everybody could see you.

Guys just check http://www.dayzdb.com/database/weapons and if the weapon is not there, then its hacked. Personally I would NOT use hacked shit no matter how cool that weapon is, since its not in the game for us legit folks. So if I were you, I would kill a zed, put this hacked piece of poo into his body and bury him. Or do you want to shoot people with hacked gear they can not legally acquire?

Now if M14 with aim in Dayz had THIS looks...I would be totally sold :-D It even does not make that much of sense that invading US forces would wield wooden body M14 instead of modern ones.

Tough choice my lad indeed. I think that with M14 you are able to react maybe a little faster, so maybe M14 if you were lonewolf. That said, if you roll with mate or two, it would be nice to have machine gun in your squad so MK48. I totally understand the tough choice you are about to make :) . Edit: only thing I dislike on M14 is, that it is the wooden version. If it looked like DMR but with aimpoint, I would fall in love with it and only death would part us.
