Well why people restrain and force feed desinfectant & rotten fruits to other people? The could just shoot or melee them to death right? Plus, as you say, it is kinda realistic, that shocking healthy person would harm them, so why not to add this? It is not like you would be force to do it, it is a matter of choice and morals. Plus they need to add proper sound of defib....bzzzzz VZUM :D. -
DayZ is the only multiplayer survivor game thing where you can't carry like 10 guns, WHICH IS FANTASTIC, lets keep it this way

I kinda have faith in Rocket & team NOT to turn DayZ SA into silly COD or whatnot. If they introduce gunbag, for carrying 2nd rifle, then I hope it will have some tradeoff like not having space for axe or maybe it would replace normal backpack. It's not only about realism, but also about keeping it "in spirit" of DayZ and force players into making hard choices (normal backpack or gunbag etc). -

I would be ok with defibrilator reanimation even after getting shot, but obviously not in the head or when being shot many times. There surely must be a good use for defibrilator. Also if you defib healthy player, this should have a chance of killing him, so you could use it as a torture device. -

Sorry but NO! Arma 3 is near future and it's tech does not suit post-soviet country like Chernarus is clearly ment to be! My opinion is to keep car park as in DayZ mod, so many russian vehicles both military and civilian ofc, with some Humvee or US army truck to spice things up. Oh and maybe a helicopter or two.

Hmm I have same CPU as you, but weaker gpu and just 8GB ram,but I find it hard to belive, you got 60+ FPS in Cherno / Elektro with everything on HIGH. Wish you tested also performance in the cities.

Yes lets hope they will add many weapons fitting eastern block and also civilian ones.

Personally I would love to see more civilian weaponry, then military grade one. Also, quite logically, what should be prevalent is eastern weaponry, not capitalistic Rugers etc. Can't wait once they put hunting shotty back and add some 9mm pistols and yeah, crossbow is really what I want. Meeting party fully equipped with M4's should be very rare, atleast once the SA is properly patched and expanded.

For God's sake, lets not inflate game with hundreds of NVG's, sniper rifles and machine guns. I hope that more and more civilian grade stuff will be added and that hi-tech military stuff will be rare as hell. Whoever craves to wield AS50 with NVG scope should head to appropriate DayZ mod. -

why only 40 players max in a server? When then mod could have more then 75?

Not sure if 150 folks aint too much, but it will be definitely good, if game & servers can handle it. Then server providers can adjust number of max players I guess. Also kinda cant wait for zombies to be properly done and to have promised number of 3 000 of them at server (some 300 in Chernogorsk). If they are done decently, it will make looting towns more interesting again. -
At the moment we have very limited ammount of gear, so everybody runs in UK tac vest, full TTsko camo clothing, ballistics helmet and most likely Gas mask. I did the same but past few days I kinda like to wear something different. I like to wear ushanka (that fur hat), some cargo pants, and maybe some civilian shirt or something. It feels so damn more realistic to have this kind of gear rather then be like specops soldier. I can't wait till we get working shotgun, some hunting rifles, some 9mm pistols or other civilian weapons. Will be good times.

Because alpha. Long answer: It is the same as with current state of zombies. They need to be optimised so that we can have 3 000 of zombies on server. So most likely game needs optimalisation to allow for 100 players on server. Let's wait for start of January, folks will be back in work after Xmass, and we should be seeing regular updates again. -

Whoever feels burned out should just take a break and wait for some big patch, then try again. With loot being so limited now, it is pointless to hoard anything, but you can still play for the experience, as somebody here already mentioned. Try more interacting with folks, if you die so what? It's not like you can not find your M4 in next 30 minutes anyway. And yes, I'm also looking forward for them to fix zombies and have 3000 of them on the server. To have more guns (oh my AK's where are thou), more clothing, add cars, more faces for your ingame hero and other super cool goodies. -
I would not use anything that eats any FPS since in Cherno / Elektro, every FPS is important.

I have to say I like civilian clothing more and more. Even if some of it aint exactly camo (like orange/yellow raincoat), they so damn fit the theme. I mean if shit hit the fan, most folks would be running in civy clothing, not in full military BDU's with tactical vests strapped on. Anyway if there was a ghillie suits, I wish it would make you more thirsty, plus it should not cover your backpack at all. There should definitely be a trade off when you use one. Hm I'm fine without ghillie being in game anyway, but can't wait once we get some eastern block weaponry in the game (akm,ak74,sks, makarov, some hunting rifles & shotties etc).

I disliked 1st person in dayz mod, but now, in dayz SA, i kinda like it. Seems that the FOV slider, or whatever else they have done, really helped 1st person to feel much better. edit: if there were separate hives for 1st /3rd person, nobody could complain provided there would be enough of 1st person servers ofc.

Well that is tricky question. Arma 2 Wasteland on takistan ran quite good. DayZ mod in cherno / Elektro was not very good. Now ARMA 3 wasteland (ws.arma.su) runs mostly very good, then some other version (or Arma 3 Breaking point), does not run that great when you are in big cities. As much as I love Arma serie and Dayz, I'm saddened by the fact, that optimalisation is not very good. I dream about arma games / dayz SA being highly optimised, using all my cores, more then 2 Gigs of ram thus running butter smooth in 60+ FPS all the time. That would surely be a sight to behold and thousands of players would rejoice. Sadly arma games does not run that great, even if you have more then decent HW. Well said, I agree!

Yes, the more opportunities for cooperation, the better. And also think, that it should take a bit more to break from handcuffs.

Man, I also own i-7 4770K, 8GB ram and HD 7870 2GB and performance in Cherno / Elektro is not good. I'm glad if I have around 30 FPS, but it goes even lower. In wilderness or around small villages I can have 60 FPS, inside some building even 90FPS, but the performance is really not very good and Rocket said, that they have not touched the client optimalisation as of yet. I really hope they will, because performance is my biggest issue, then rest I believe will be ironed out (glitchy zombies, low variety of loot, small number of zombies etc). EDIT: With map being small......I want it to be considerably bigger but ofc with some villages and towns or other structures, not only woods. Plus I strongly disagree, that towns / villages are boring. Yes the type of buildings repeat, but did you really expect every single damned house to be different? How time consuming, plus unrealistic (yes, many house patterns repeat in real life too) that would be?
