Rain must be currently bugged. I've seen it only twice, it ended after 20 seconds or so. Still was nice while it lasted, also I think, the sickness system connected with being in wet clothes, is probably not yet implemented. I look forward having to make campfire after running through rain, or even hide before it in some building, in order to not get cold or such.

That dude is kinda a douche though. He plays every game that way, shooting anything that moves and acting like he is pro and uber cool dude. I dislike his vids therefore I woun't watch it because I already know, what would happen there (lot of KOS, tricking & killing folks etc).

Yeah but he set up object detail to uber low and it kinda looks not so good. I'm having most stuff on normal to high, clouds and ambient oclusion off and in Cherno I get 25-33 FPS approximately, sometimes game stutters and FPS fall to 18. Outside of Cherno / Elektro I got mostly 40+ which is ok. But as OP said, the game could use a LOT of client optimalisation and Rocket himself said, that did not optimize client at all as of yet. So here is me hoping they will :). EDIT: Do you guys think that upgrading GFX from Radeon HD 7870 2GB to Nvidia GTX 770 2GB would bring any noticeable gain in FPS? Or should I just overclock my i-7 4770K running at stock speed now? Also upgrading ram from 8GB ddr3 to 16 GB ddr3 would not do much, or would it?

I like the story and its mood. Immediately I remembered Namalsk!! I loved the harsh conditions there and that you had to find warm clothing to survive in freezing snowy areas. Would definitely love if map got expanded north, some bigger mountains were added, ofcourse snow and blizzards! Also the roads would be in such bad shape you could not use any vehicles and had to do the trek on foot. And yes, at the very end, there could be the prize, some military or research facility with some goodies. Problem would be, that there would be no food there which, althought not very logical, would mean you could not camp it there and instead grab what you could and head back south to warmer climate. Now I know this will be bashed by some folks, to whom this will "smell" of endgame, but consider atleast the snowy and very harsh part of map, where you would definitely need special gear (winter jacket, fur hat etc) to survive.

If you lower your weapon that you are carrying (hit space) you should be able to switch to any other weapon without stopping. And yes, I was in the same situation, flashlight in my hand, M4 on shoulders and being chased by psycho with payday2 mask (I hate these masks).

DayZ SA Alpha was released after like year and few months, in your troll head you probably count DayZ MOD together with Standalone right? Yeah, folks mentioned it a lot of times, that rivers would be great to have. In SA we get just small streams, which is a start! But yes, proper river running through whole map would be uber cool. Imagine the river piracy if you could shoot from some fishing boat.

Hmm strangely I experienced rubberbanding more often after this patch, then before. It was rather small one, I got stuck on invisible barrier twice, friend saw me running 5 meters, then he saw me teleport back and I could continue. Folks were saying it was because Derp group was DDOSing Steam, not sure if that happened today as well though.

Lads DONT play too much , with so few features & stuff in the game now, you risc maybe getting tired of the game too early. I mean it's healthy for both your body and soul, to take some break from DayZ SA and give time to good Devs, to put more meat on Dayz SA bones meanwhile. Anyway glad folks enjoy SA same as I do even despite it's bugs and barebones status :).

Sorry if it was already brought up, but if you hold rifle, you turn a lot faster then when you have empty hands. I think it has to be risen (hit space) though....and ofc, as good folks mentioned, turning your head only with ALT is win. You must be a true fan of DayZ with your 5 posts, right?

Maybe he means that random stuttering....like when I'm playing with good frames (30+), now BOOM it does down to like 8 FPS for short moment, then it goes back up to 30+.

Well don't forget that even sickness system is not fully in. They plan to add more infections and stuff, so it will get harder. And also since now we have like 1/100 of content available, you can get bored ultra fast since you can get best gear after looting single barracks. If we had vehicles, tons of weapons (some very rare ofc) and just more of everything, I don't think anybody would get bored quickly. I think we really can not judge the game now, not beyond the bare bones we got. It will be much much more!

I am almost for anything if it's East block / Russian origin. So just no overabundance of Western stuff & vehicles, these should be rare. Although if story goes, that NATO made intervention into Chernarus, then we should see some Humvees etc but hopefully not that many of them. Can't wait to ride in my trusty UAZ offroad again !!

Some people are waiting for their favourite Arma 2 mods to be ported to Arma 3 first. Arma 3 is not failure in anyway and with time it will only get better. Also without Arma 2, you would most likely not be able to play DayZ at all, so show some respect to the serie.
