I think we would need devs to answer this. Guess it will be added down the road, now it mostly does not matter if stuff is ruined or not, except for scope (not counting hunting one). Would love if ruined clothing had less inventory space, same for backpacks, ruined cans should leak most of the content, ruined canteen & bottle would not hold any water...stuff like that. edit: I think stuff get damaged uber fast now, when you get shot even once, hope they will tone it down.

I guess I would like if there were 2 helicopters for each server (Huey and Mi-17). Ofcourse without any weapons, but please allow passengers to shoot their personal weapons from doors (guess that would work best for little bird). Regarding the difficulity for flying...maybe make it tad harder then in dayz mod, but don't overdo it. And I like the idea of having to find and read ingame manual for each helo...although that would be negated pretty quickly by internetz. Regarding cars, I like the idea of "shift gear up" and "shift gear down" so that you could chose what gear to use. And again, please make it so that passengers in car can shoot out of the windows. Also cars and truck had very weak engines in arma 2, this needs to change in DayZ SA. I remember hating Landrover for being so damned slow on grass despite being offroad. Also I don't think there was any difference in driving over dirt road and grassy field, which sucked.

Gosh, is DayZ turning into Battlefield? That would be a sad day if it did ...

So many choices of what to add. Paramedic clothing, as you said police, fireman's outfit (we got firestations right), more military ones (some western as well), huntsman complet and so many many more. The possibilities are almost endless and Im really looking forward to see what will be added during this year (clothing,weapons, vehicles, more towns, crafting, ilnesses etc).

I was talking about zombies though and I think zombie should not go down in 1 hit, except when you hit him to the head with fireaxe. So to me it seems that most weapons, except fireaxe, are a bit underpowered.

I play on both 1st and 3rd person servers and I would not dare to force my opinion on the player base. To me it seems, that some of the 1st person elitist enjoy the game less knowing, there are 3rd person ON servers. So what is really jimmie rustling material here, are certain players thinking they are better, then others.

What rustles my jimmies is, that yours are so rustled by 3rd person ON. More so, when we gonna have TWO SEPARATE hives and enough servers to cater to both. It just is no problem whatsoever, what is the real problem are combat loggers and server hoppers. Can't wait for that to be solved. edit: I feel we were trolled hard here O_o

Press vest seems to be very good. Some ballistics protection and 6 slots on top of that! It does not conceal, but I guess I'd still take it over UK tacvest. On the other hand, the antistab (found 2 so far) one does not have any slots, plus its against knives etc, so thats rather useless in my eyes.

You're right! But what about wraping some rags around Mosin? For good ole WW2 style and a bit of camo.

Maybe the server had PvE in it's name... Some good chaps have taken up the quest to educate those, living in the darkness of PvE servers, of their folly.

Not sure we played the same Rust. I bought it and immediately got killed several times by other naked cavemen or worse, by folks with M4's and shotguns, while they yelled some crap at me. Some even made the special effort to lure me to their base, only to shoot me there, which seemed a tad pathetic. If DayZ is drowning in fucking imbeciles, so is the Rust ! edit: I'm all up for gender equality, but if you kill a chick, then don't make fuss about it!

Well yes, I guess the higher numbers of players, that they want to have, might be the reason. Still it feels weird to have them at Balota..it's just wrong eh. Btw I hope that police station aka "camo" building, will spawn police grade loot, not military one.

Video is not bad at all, not even too long. I have to appreciate that: 1. you talked to them first, thus taking the harder road as opposed to KOS. 2. you played on 1st person server 3. you did not use any l33t bullshit when editing video (troll faces etc). I guess some folks can't be arsed to go north, when all they need is in damned Balota or short trek north from Kamenka. At the moment I really don't understand devs, why have they introduced so many damned barracks + camo buildings and all are spawning mil loot. Oh well, hope it's one of them alpha nonsences.

OP's results are perfectly fine,nothing to be done here because of integrated graphics. What's more troubling is, that once his 780 is back, his FPS also wount be perfect. I so love and hate arma engine. Love for the stories it allows to happen, hate for the low FPS it is giving me.

I always had to use morphine to stop whining. But as folks say, maybe using painkillers and reloging is the way to go.

Some dude already made a nice post here on forums. He found out, that weapons are rather innacurate, but if you equip them with better parts (MP handguard and buttstock), they suddenly become very accurate. Same with Mosin, equip it with pristine bipod, deploy, go prone and that thing changes into M24 sniper rifle (with scope ofc). Not sure that is a good way to handle weapon accuracy though, since things like handguard & stock should probably just reduce sway & recoil, not make weapon accurate.

It sure is clumsy, must be that darned alpha thing. Some weapons are really horrible, like a showel. On the other hand, baseball bat is okish, if you are just against 1 zombie. Ofcourse axes are good, maybe even too good, because 1 hit anywhere to kill with fireman axe is a bit stupid. But I believe this will be ironed out down the road.

They, in car, are a legion! I would shit my pants and run like hell, if I saw such car driving my way...

I couldnt care less about cannibalism. Deer hunting, on the other hand, that interests me a lot! Imagine having to track down deer, stay quiet to not alert it... If they pull it off, it will be great addition to gameplay and survival.
