Sorry mate, but you are wrong. Full auto weapons are banned for civilians here in Czech Rep, but you can still get tactical (semi-auto) version of Vz58.

I'm ok if they "lock"gamma&brightness, but I will not play in totally pitch black night as it most often is. Don't care if it's realistic, I hope they will make night a TAD brigther and then they can lock gamma/brigthness settings if that is even possible.

Happened to me as well, pile turned to zero when I emptied ammo box. Not sure if we should drop ammo to the ground or empty the ammo box on the ground or something.

Be it as it may, it is worth addition and fits the theme, that's the most important thing.

Dude it's not ugly, it's classy! Maybe you prefer shiny milgrade weapons, but I believe hunting & civilian weaponry is the way to go! Also some other dude tested it and its kinda accurate, definitely not only up to 100m!

I really like the idea that most folks will run with hunting & civilian weaponry rather then with assault rifles and mil-grade snipers or LMG's. On the other hand I would not want DayZ SA to descent into cavemen simulator, where folks would run mostly with spears or bows. I mean I'd like addition of bows and even spears, but do not make them the prevalent weapons.

Was not fun yesterday. Me and 2 buddies went to Balota and started having crazy FPS drops (I went down to like 14FPS). We got in firefight, buddy got killed, mine game froze and had to ALT+F4, when I got back I was dead, did not even manage to shoot my new hunting rifle once. Respawned, got axed by random random dude in a barn, respawned and got taken as hostage and executed by full geared dude at Berezino Lumbermill. Then I figured I've had enough and called it a day. Anyway I have faith in devs, they will fix it :). -

Seems something bad slipped into the last patch. Went to Balota, got into shoot out, FPS went down to 16, game froze, had to alt+f4, logged back, was dead. I have faith devs will polish it out though. -

Thanks for the concern :-). I guess we need to wait how this Rift thing will play out. So far looks quite promising with all the renowned folks flocking to the team (that Id Soft guy etc). -

Heh well said. Hmm I'm wearing glasses so I'm affraid oculus rift might not be for me. But yes, constant 60FPS is ofc better then anything less. I'm always smiling in games where I've got 100 or more FPS (WarThunder for example) and wish it was DayZ SA. -

Thanks, will check those new drivers. I dream about DayZ SA running constantly atleast 50 FPS everywhere and without desyncs. That would be real gamining paradise for me. -

What you describe was most apparent for me in ARMA3. In DayZ mod, I did not feel I was that extra dependant on server FPS, but maybe that was just my perception. Anyway to get huge FPS boost for client, we will need to wait for client side optimalisation such as dividing rendered from engine and replacing DX7 parts with DX9 stuff. edit: I have i-7 4770K, 8GD DDR3 and Radeon HD 7870 2GB so I do not feel my PC being the source of problems such as having 25-30 FPS in Cherno / Elektro. -
Would imagine wearing biker helmet would lessen the chance of you being knocked out that fast.

We all know that server FPS does not directly translate into client (your installed game) FPS gain right? Anyway it is a good news, because they can add more zombies or more loot and hopefully that means that we are another step closer to server being able to respawn zombies and loot normally, not only uport restart!! -
You must be joking right? What we could consider as military weapon is just M4 and FXN pistol. Mosin is old school and I doubt military uses magnum revolvers. Shotgun is obviously civilian and SKS as well, since it did not remain in military service for long and was replaced by AK. But maybe you ment rarity of military weapon...yes I agree they should not be very common, still we need more types of them (Warsaw pact ones).

You must mean Stg.44 which truly was an inspiration to Kalashnikov, although Personally I would not want to have many WW2 weapons in the game, does not seem very likely. Regarding AK's, I think that AK74 should be prevalent with some AKM/S thrown in the mix as well (they should be more rare).

So it actually haven't crossed your mind, that these equipped folks might be just bored? If you are equipped what do you do now? You either seek confrontation around military bases or go back to beach to either help fresh spawns or hunt them down. Who are you to judge or present YOUR opinion as superior to others? You are basically the same type as those who constantly moan about KOS'ers or "carebears". It does not make you look cool or tough.

Well scary yes, in glitched object way of things. Still,be able to cut holes in the burlap sack for the eyes, would be simply great. Then again it would most likely inspire players to behave like psychos.

The dude did mistake for not 3rd personing, when you were. Instead he played like on hardcore server, which was the cause of his death. Oh well, maybe next time he will go to hardcore and have better chance in such situation :).

Sometimes I really feel that stuff gets destroyed too much. It's like you get hit by 1 bullet and it bounces all around your backpack, tacvest and even manages to f%^& up your pants. At the moment it just feels as a bit overdone, hopefully they will tone it down a bit. -
I'm playing with postprocess on very low and I don't plan on changing that. Every frame matters and I'd rather keep object on normal or high, also shadows as well, rather then seeing stuff shine too much or suffer too much of blur. I wonder if it would be too hard to implement some effect, when you are shot and low on blood (trauma), that would be hardcoded into the game and could not be turned off (but also did not eat too many FPS).
