1 or 2 stabs, I guess. And yes, currently its hillarious that you need to stab player like 20x times to kill him. Also zombies can take some crazy beating to the body with machette or bayonette etc. Definitely need a lot more tweaking...still I think we are on the right track. -
Weapons need to spawn with atleast 1 magazine in them.

I'd be ok if there was like 20% chance for weapon to spawn with empty magazine (or few bullets max). I think that chance could be slightly bigger for pistols and Sporter, for obvious reason (Sporter rather weak, pistols ultra short range). It's quite on contrary! M4 magazines are already too common, which makes that gun used too much. If M4's mags were much more rare, and pistols + Sporter had good chance of spawning with empty mag, that would help as people would use these weapons more. -

Yeah, no more 1 body hit kill. You generally have to aim for the head with any melee weapon. So axes are no longer god items aloving plowing through zombies with impunity. I like that. -
That is kinda dumb RP idea which was already done so many times. I clearly remember these jerks calling themselves something like "Medical force" or something, who were terrorizing coast and executing fresh spawns "in the name of science" or some other bullshit. Sadly enough they did not want to reveal server name, they were affraid of being hunted down and being experimented upon themselves. Big boys.

I'm looking forward for a day, when police loot will be properly introduced. Pistols, shotguns, SMG's and maybe some carbine as well. Military loot should be really restricted just to military areas. Just dislike the fact that theres so many military bases with barracks though.

I half expected that dude shoting you with the bolt you gave him :-D. edit: I expect devs to add some quiver for the bolts & arrows. Not sure if it would replace chest holster slot, but hopefully not.

Can't wait till we get some more hunting rifles. Would like CZ550 Predator or CZ527 although they do not come in 5,56 calibre.

At very quick first glance this one looked like taken in real life. Btw I have found out (on exp), that I can now afford to turn ON the Ambient Occlusion and still get okish frames. Previously turning that sucker on ment losing almost 50%. Something very good is happening at experimental now! This keeps me very optimistic to the point, that I'm almost affraid it's too good. -

Music was fine, I mean everybody got his own taste B) If I was killed and respawned near, I would most likely also go back as well. I'm just saying that game tends to spawn killed people close to their corpse way too often, to the point it's getting annoying. Anyway good luck with your future videos!

Unless you hack, cheat or abuse glitches (hiding in walls) anything you do is legit. Aradia seemed like he needed to "justify" his kill, which indicates his feeling of guilt (which he confessed to anyway). But still I would say he was more towards being friendly, since he tried to disarm that dude without killing him on the spot. So Aradia, don't feel bad, there was armed dude, he did not cooperate and so you put him down. This is FAR from the worst stuff folks do in DayZ.

Hmm weird, if you really hit somebody SEVEN times with anything more powerfull then .22LR, then they would be dead. Might be that the server was desyncing / lagging a lot ofcourse. Arma engines generally takes a second to register hits. If you hit him quickly 7x and he managed to score a headshot on you right after receiving first hit, then you both would die I think. Happens mostly in extreme close quarters. Also seeing you came from Counter-Strike, it might be tad harder for you to adjust. Arma games are vastly different from twitch shooters and shine in different situations.

Have to say that I dislike those endless battles, where killed people return to join the fight several times. If you kill somebody in DayZ, you should be rid of that fool for some time. Seems devs did something wrong with respawning, since you happen to spawn close to where you died so often. This leads to Battlefieldesque situation, which in my humble opionion, does not suit the DayZ. As for the vid, some kills were nice. Disliked the music, made my head hurt.

So my thoughts on experimental. Played on Wednesday and was supper desynced or laggy. Played yesterday (Thursday) and....IT WAS GOOD. Felt really smooth, did not experience single desync. Like how the Blaze rifle was "lagging" behind cursor when I was turning. Me and my buddy looted Chernaya Dolina dry, got mosin and Blaze and each some 20 rounds. Night fell, I confess we ramped up gamma & brightness and continued towards west. We reached Gvozdno, noticed it was looted and continued bit west. There, at train station, we saw flickering of flashlight! There was a survivor (cowboy hat and sporter rifle I think). Seemed he was logging off, since he was sitting,then standing and doing some weird shit. Then all of a sudden, he turned around and start moving! My buddy freaked out, shot him once with mosin, dude yelled friendly and legged it. As instant karma wills it, there was another dude right in or around the train station. Sadly he had M4 and enough ammo, so after short shootout me and my buddy got killed. He saw as clearly so he must have had his gamma up as well, so it was rather fair in that department. Anyway even when we were killed, it was all worth it! Another short story to our memory book :-). edit: crafted bow from ashen stick and rope. tried throwing, was kinda slow motion. -
Any way to raid a military jail with armed people in it?

I hope people will not QQ about castles being too easily camped. I mean not every building should have zillion entrances to completely prevent any sort of defending/camping. At the end of the day, you can always chose to leave and try your luck elsewhere, you live to fight another day. -
Dunno, cant get to one, still full. Still its gonna be pain to play there, everything will be looted clean and you will starve or will have endless fist fights with freshies. Was on experimental 40 player, there was some nasty desync :-(.

I believe devs will address FOV further down the road. You can't do anything against usage of TeamSpeak or such, it would be a bit silly to certain degree anyways. Night time is bad in Arma2/SA, Arma3 got it a lot better. -

Good job! That black gentleman at the end surely enjoyed spanking Justin with his machete. Hitting balls, ass cheeks and even nipples, he was very thorough!

Ghosting is one of big reasons I so liked private hives in mod. That and whitelist.
