Any size is good as long as you can manage the communication. I know some folks who can't shut their traps and it really does not matter if you are just 2 or 8 in that case.

Only frustration I get in fights is, when I can not pull out my damned weapon! Or when I empty magazine into dude only for him to turn around and kill me too. TTsKO is so last month. Now it's full Gorka outfit! :-)

This spawning near place of death has to simply stop.

It was working like ever. Press "/" which is next to right shift and type. With "," and "." you used to change channels, but it no longer works in DayZ (still works in ARMA) except when you have walkie talkie, with fitted battery and turned on, then you can select radio channel and speak to it.

Not sure if nobody goes to Elektro anymore, but my frames are going down like crazy there. I remember going there from power plant firestation and frames took hit to like 17 (had object detail on normal) once I got closer to supermarket. This made me bug off there quick as hell and once I reached train station and was looking towards Cherno, frames got up noticeably. Oh how I cant wait for client optimalisation :-/.

I'm currently NW of Pushtoska camped near lonely house. Me and buddy ended up our own journy as we went Gorka-Elektro-outskirts of Cherno-Balota-military base north of Kamenka-Zelenogorsk-Green Mountain-Vybor-Pushtoska. Before we logged off, we made campfire, put some cow meat on and talked for a bit. Cooking took quite a long time and before we realised it, meat was burned and my buddy started to throw burned stakes at me out of frustration. Only thing that was bad on the whole journey was the minimum of player interaction we had. We saw just 1 dude in Elektro firehouse. He was not talking much and typed some mumbo jumbo in direct so we let him go. Another dude was server hopper in jailbuilding at Green Mountain, but luckily my buddy dispatched him with AKM switfly. I agree with majority of what you have written, good post, have beanz!

There is truly somethign with boar going on. Even when I crafted backpack from cow hide, it looked and was named boar leather courier backpack or something like that. so maybe they fixed it and at this moment, you can craft it only from boar's hide. I hope we can craft it from any hide and cool thing would be, if those backpacks had different texture based on animal from which you took the skin :).

I mean you are free to do whatever you want unless you hack or glitch. It's just worrying, that so many new players tend to get stuck in Berezino and deathmatch all the time. I so hope, that folks will eventualy spread around the map more.

Ah but I remember, on previous experimental, crafting courier backpack from cow hide, weird. I secretly hope, that fur backpack could be upgraded with sticks too and that it will have some 2-4 spaces more than courier from burlap.

Just yesterday on experimental, me and my buddy went hunting. We found herd of cows, slaughtered one and.....I could NOT create backpack from fur+rope. I even took that damned cow skin into inventory but no, I could not attach the rope nor sticks. So in experimental atm, the fur backpack is most likely bugged.

You did what you felt was right and that's all there is. They were armed so it was fair game anyway.

There surely will be more backpacks added later on. I would bet that some camo'ed one will get in, similar to Czech backpack or such. So yes, I expect several new types, both army and civilian, to be added at certain stage.

Wish devs fixed this very soon. I've shot some folks and some of them had pants in pants etc with items in it. This justified killing them 100% if I had any second thoughts.

And what about making it so, that only items you could put on hotbar and instantly access would be stuff in your jacket, tac vest and pants? Anything in backpack would not be accessible while running and pressing TAB would make your avatar stop, kneel and do backpack search animation. I mean that would surely make stuff in backpack harder to use and I think it would add to the gameplay. While I would prefer if most weapons were visible on players, in reality pistols and some very small SMG can be concealed on human body without big problems. I'm trying to say that I don't see a problem with players taking out pistol or SMG, but I would hate if they could pull out unseen AKM or M4 or anything big. Wish that at one point we will get holsters for machettes or knives. Hate when they float above our backs, looks so ugly.

Did that once or twice...but since we have saline bags I no longer do. Hmm maybe if saline bags were a lot more rare..?

It's actually funny how many folks act tough in this thread. Keep on flexing your e-peen... Devs CLEARLY stated, that they do not aim for 100% realism, but that gameplay plays a big role too obviously. So night really does not need to be pitch black, no matter how tough guys here would enjoy stumbling in total darkness before they would log off or raise gamma themselves. I hope Devs will fine tune night to be both dark but also allow for some vision even if up to like 30-50 meters or something. Also the photoshoped picture of night with some colors was tasty, would like something like that! Also most importantly night should be the same for everyone, but please no pitch black darkness except shadows (forests) and I guess interiors.

Does anybody uses bloodbags when there are different bloodtypes? Or do you mean carrying your own blood in case you get shot and you have buddy to give you transfusion of your own blood? For that we have saline bags anyway and since anybody can receive them, I feel nobody bothers with filling bloodbags anymore.

Regen is a tad too fast now, but it is hard to judge anything since most of the mechanics are not polished or even finished.

Thats obvious that it would not go into tacvest in real life, since those are made for magazines, grenades and such stuff :). Anyway, once they make Skorpion vz 61 (or whichever), that little devil should take less space for sure!

Hm not a bad idea. If that was doable, then maybe pistols should take more space in backpack so not everybody carries tons of them.

Must be rarer then unicorns then! Never saw it and it did loot my fair share of piano buildings.
