If they manage to do client optimalisation, then I belive it will be quite on contrary. Also let's not forget, that Rocket is not old time employee of Bohemia, so he might in fact care about optimalisation for client ! Anyway I can't wait for those promised optimalisations since I hate having 20-25 FPS in certain towns. Also I don't consider i7-4770K,8GB DDR3 and Radeon HR7870 2GB, DayZ SA on SSD to be a potato...

Make the night time better looking (DX11 renderer) and lock gamma/brightness (I think Arma 3 does that) and there is simply no problem at all, is it? Anyway to truly judge night time, we need to wait for renderer improvements. As the night is now, it is rather poorly implemented. I think that arma engine simply expected playerst to have NVG's since it was ment as army simulator to certain degree.

Maybe the DX10/11 rendered will make things better? If I remember well, in Arma 3, even with gamma & brightness at max, night can be pitch black. Anyway I dislike pitch black night, but I agree that everybody should play on even level in night time. So overall I'd like a tad more brighter night, like that I could see somehow to 10-30 meters, so definitely not black & white day.

Then you are in for a treat , once realistic movement speed & stamina gets implemented. Btw you could not endlessly super sprint in DayZ mod and majority of people did not whine about it. Yes, mod had vehicles, but no, you would not find them on every corner plus mostly you needed to repair and refuel them first. Vehicles were ofc noisy so prepare to get ambushed quite often, when driving one. So all in all, get ready to jog everywhere or uninstall. Ahhaha would pay to see your face, once there is no endless turbo sprint :-D. It is a phrase, but DayZ might not be for you buddy. Btw nope, it did not take 4 hours to get to Elektro from Berezino, not even in mod.

Did not find anything new except those chemlights and different model of watch towers around NWA. Maybe we will stop falling from these :-).

Many suspect that clothing & item damage reduction is the culprit here. Still hope that at some point this will be fixed (yeah alpher).

Once modding is open, everybody can have his fantasies. Till then, PLEASE keep DayZ clean and preferably harder (wanted to say hardcore, but it is too soon to call it that way).

If anything, I would expect CZ527 to be more accurate to certain range, still I would think Mosin packs more punch especially at close range. Hope we will get some hunting scope for that CZ as well, maybe also bipod?

Hmm just died an hour ago in Vybor. Met fully equiped dude in red house, I shot him with Mosin from 1-2 meters to chest, leg and hand...he dropped to the floor, equipped FNX and wtfpwned me like a small child. He had full gear, so I guess tin cans in tac vest, jacket and mountain backpack saved him O_o. From now on I stick with SKS or AKM if possible.

I like to remember one day, when me and 2 other buddies met unarmed stranged in Krasno...and it turned out to be girl named Natasha from Ukraine. She had charming voice and whenever zombies made us bleed, she would sprint and bandage us, she was really cute. We went to Novo where we found SKS that she was looking for. Soon after we came under fire near Town Hall, lost one of our buddies, but we managed to kill 2 bandits armed with Blazers. It was getting late, so we logged off in nearby tree line and that was the last time I saw Natasha O_o. I kinda miss her, but I hope, she is doing just fine. Anyway by this rambling I ment that there is real chance to meet nice folks in game.

Firstly, don't assume that I'm assuming else you might end up looking shtupid. Secondly, that dude basically said that he likes to abuse whatever glitches give him the upper hand and that is big no in my book. Lastly, everybody knows that when you sprint you are harder to get hit.

Since Scubaman said, he is having another look at pistol's accuracy so I would kinda expect SMG's to be revised too. Like come on, they should be ok under some 100m engagements no?

Yup firestation stairs are deadly and ruined more then one pair of my trousers. Image my frustration, having just looted pristine swaggy gorka pants, only to have them ruined and my legs broken seconds later O_o. But it's DayZ, I well accept all this goofiness, because despite all bugs and glitches, I frikkin love this game and to me it's unique gaming experience that was not yet provided by any other game (for me again).

You will have good times once turbo run mode is disabled. Can't wait for that.

Anyway to use direct in combat situations, you would need special whisper mode since now, even if you whisper, folks will hear you further away then they should.

I believe that to implement this, would not be tons of work and would enhance gameplay by a LOT. Would also make using direct voice chat a lot more viable than it is now. So yes, GIVE US WHISPERING! p.s. imagine whispering to random strange during night at Green Mountain....undies would be soiled!

Like month ago, me and buddy met total stranger south of Green Mountain. We became friends and then, when night has falled, we dared to go to Green Mountain. I have to say I had goose bumps, it became stormy night.. Maybe we just were lucky, or maybe we were bereft of evil since we did not KOS'ed that stranger, the mountain let us leave alive!

What happened to that uncounscious dude you handcuffed? Also nice you got girl playing with you and one that does not sound as being 12 year old :). Info for all, vid is with Polish commentary and English subtitles.
