    Gun fights

Here are a few tips for you. If out in the open (can work in cities too), and you can get some distance from your attacker, do so then take cover. He will have to run towards you and that means his sway will be excessive. While you were crouched/prone waiting for him to arrive, your sway will be reduced/gone, making for easier shooting for you.Try and learn the sway pattern. Once you learn that you can shoot while at max sway easier. When close to your opponent, I find its often best to just hipfire rather than ADS. ADS takes time to look down the sights meaning you lose valuable firing time.If your opponent is running at some distance away (>100m) you will have to compensate for the bullet travel time and lead your shots. The further away, the greater the leading required. his will only become natural after you have been in a lot of fights at range and see your shots impact behind the running player. The amount of lead time required is dependent on the gun/ammo used (VSS needs lots at 2-300m due to subsonic rounds, Winchester not so much). If sniping, its often handy to have a buddy with binocs to call out where your shots landed as when you reload the chamber, you will often not see the impact. IF your buddy is closer to the target, even better as you will often not see impacts at very far range.Practice. Practice. Practice. I would recommend getting some practice by finding a gun and ammo after you spawn and heading directly to a city PVP zone.Learn to burst fire (2-3) rounds at a time when shooting at >50m to master recoil.Strafing left or right as you fire can help you avoid bullets.Press S and D at the same time to have no sway when aiming. Not tested recently though so might be fixed.Learning to range a gun is very important. Make sure you are ranging your rifle correctly (PgUp and PgDown). Find a gun and plenty ammo. Head to a quiet server with lots of zombies and practice shooting them from different ranges to practice your distances. If you cant get a clean headshot or far away from target, shoot a target in the legs. It makes them enter the prone animation and gives you a few seconds to finish them off without them being able to shoot you. These are just a few of my own tips. Your mileage may vary

    Level Up

2 minute video When you die, sometimes revenge presents itself right back to you. It also helps when your attacker has ruined rounds in his gun.

Yeah I expected it was probably glitched in. Who in their right mind would Ghillie in Cherno The SVD he had was probably duped as well
  6. I very rarely say "Im friendly" anymore. I mainly try and start up a normal conversation by saying things like "Hi there. You ok?". The "friendly" line is far to overused by assholes who are too poor at the game that they need you to stand still so they can shoot you.
  7. This is why you shouldn't go down to the coast and kill freshspawns with your lovely military weapons. Your toys will be taken off you if you cannot play nicely. This geared up the three of us quite nicely.
  8. You are quite right about using that music to better effect. I used to be a house/techno DJ for 15 years and produced quite a lot of my own tracks, so I know my way around a sound scape :) At the moment its a bit of an investment/reward scenario for me. Videos which I have put way to much time into have received about 100 views and little interest. Most probably because they were over 15 mins in length and people dont want to watch these unless they are invested in your channel and content. Videos which I have literally just chopped some scenes and added semi-appropriate music (without any editing) have been much more well received. Ideally I would prefer to spend lots more time on videos (both edits and music) but in reality Ive been doing this for over a year and nt progressing as much as I had hoped with building a community. I think there is a happy medium when I keep my videos sub 5 mins for now (until I build community) but also focus on the music side which will be easier with smaller vids .
  9. Thanks for all the feedback Pilgrim I think I need some time to digest your feedback, which is always welcome I might add. I never see criticism as a negative as long as its reasoned and framed in a constrictive way. Can I just clarify, are you talking about the Fresh Spawn Justice video (minimal intro) or the Night Hunt video (longer video with the side scrolling black and white camp scene)? For the Fresh Spawn Justice vid, the music was just picked and dumped into vegas in its entirety (was just a quick 15 edit on that video, but I usually spend hours and hours editing the scenes and the music).

anybody can tell me how did he kill me?!

Looks like the old dsyncoroony bud
  11. Thanks Ninja I know there are lots of folks who dont have the patience for even 10 secs of intro. I think I will save the old intro for longer or story driven content, of 10-20 mins in length, and just have the shorter intro for little clips like this under 5 mins. Always good to mix things up and see what sticks.
  12. How was the intro to this video compared to my old one chaps? I know some people dont like intros. I would appreciate feedback if you prefer the new way or the old way (including feedback on the old intro music. Do you like it or hate it?) An example of my old one can be found here.:
  13. Video Length : 5:30 Perspective : 1st Person Perspective Description : After spotting a player on NWAF, I try to hunt him down to hold him up after dark.

That's been driving me absolutely fucking nuts for ages now how YT does that to my videos. They look perfect before the upload. Tried loads of things to sort it (varying bit rates /antialiasing in game etc). I always remove "Smart Resampling" and select "Disable Resampling" for all my clips. Not due to the pixelation issue, but it helps with ghost frames bleeding though into the next frame during sequences with lots of motion. If you can think of anything else you changed, let me know please. Thinking of trying to learn Adobe premier to see if rendering on that helps. It drives me nuts.

    Beav - ☢ The Fugitive ☢ Hardcore/1PP [09:34]

While aimlessly wandering the north on the Oldschool DayZ Hardcore First Person Server, I get myself into a lot of trouble and end up running for my life, but a man cannot run forever. Whether you live or die, eventually you have to make a stand.

Im a patient man. Rather make my shots count than miss and reveal position. Could have played the end slightly better though and I could have killed them all.

Yeah you are totally right Sofa. My tactics left a lot to be desired. After my firt kill, I should have left that area and taken up a sniper position from the Northern Hill above Lopatino. I just couldnt be arsed running anymore :) I dont think their aim was too sharp either :)
