I was stalking in the hills above Zelenogorsk, little did I know that I would be getting involved in fighting 9 players (3 squads of 3) in the space of 30 minutes.

This video is the first is a series cataloguing the journey north with a friend named Mark. Mark is actually the guy who almost killed me at the end of this video: https://youtu.be/d9ATZT8PwwI -
##Note this is a PVP ANYWHERE server## While working on my Sedan which was missing a couple of wheels, a Lada drives right past my location. I try to track it down and see what they are upto. Looks like they were setting up a new camp location.

When trying to be a hero, I misread a situation and decide to try and kill some bandits. All become clear after I am captured

Media Type: 3PP PVP Video Length : 3:56 Description : After my death in the last video, I quickly make my way back to the scene of the crime to try and salvage some respect. It becomes quite a surreal experience as I fight 3 guys armed only with a stick. I leave with a FAL, SVD and an AK. If interested, check out the previous episode to see what happened before this video: https://youtu.be/qfwjuKejeHk

His team deserved to die just for playing that in game....

FAL In Combat - 0.59 DayZ Standalone (Video)
BeaverProductions replied to AstrosLegacy's topic in Gallery
I think you need to reassess your definition of an "exploit". An exploit is doing something in the game which you should not be able to do with the game design as it stands. If you could get access to the 3PP camera in a 1PP server, that would be an exploit. If you glitch into a wall, that is an exploit. Using the 3PP camera on 3PP servers which are setup to play 3PP, is not an exploit. Its a stupid argument. Is every other 3PP game on the market being exploited by people who play those games? -
Thanks Sofa

Welcome to 2016. Metagaming is a thing people enjoy doing. Not eveyone has limitless free time to search every spot on the map over and over again -
FAL In Combat - 0.59 DayZ Standalone (Video)

You said "its that you exploit it". Why do people who hate 3PP videos waste their time watching them? I'm sure there are more productive things you could be doing with your time, such as playing first person DayZ or watching 1PP content producers. -
Myself and Graham spawn onto the beach near the docks in Cherno. A fight between 5 players at the TEC building catches our attention. The story starts from here

Part 2 should be uploaded tonight if I get a spare hour to finish the edit -
Here are a few tips for you. If out in the open (can work in cities too), and you can get some distance from your attacker, do so then take cover. He will have to run towards you and that means his sway will be excessive. While you were crouched/prone waiting for him to arrive, your sway will be reduced/gone, making for easier shooting for you.Try and learn the sway pattern. Once you learn that you can shoot while at max sway easier. When close to your opponent, I find its often best to just hipfire rather than ADS. ADS takes time to look down the sights meaning you lose valuable firing time.If your opponent is running at some distance away (>100m) you will have to compensate for the bullet travel time and lead your shots. The further away, the greater the leading required. his will only become natural after you have been in a lot of fights at range and see your shots impact behind the running player. The amount of lead time required is dependent on the gun/ammo used (VSS needs lots at 2-300m due to subsonic rounds, Winchester not so much). If sniping, its often handy to have a buddy with binocs to call out where your shots landed as when you reload the chamber, you will often not see the impact. IF your buddy is closer to the target, even better as you will often not see impacts at very far range.Practice. Practice. Practice. I would recommend getting some practice by finding a gun and ammo after you spawn and heading directly to a city PVP zone.Learn to burst fire (2-3) rounds at a time when shooting at >50m to master recoil.Strafing left or right as you fire can help you avoid bullets.Press S and D at the same time to have no sway when aiming. Not tested recently though so might be fixed.Learning to range a gun is very important. Make sure you are ranging your rifle correctly (PgUp and PgDown). Find a gun and plenty ammo. Head to a quiet server with lots of zombies and practice shooting them from different ranges to practice your distances. If you cant get a clean headshot or far away from target, shoot a target in the legs. It makes them enter the prone animation and gives you a few seconds to finish them off without them being able to shoot you. These are just a few of my own tips. Your mileage may vary
