Ahh. Now here I can help.. Look DOWN. I was in a police station with all the doors closed and got hit more than enough times to drive me nuts.. So I backed up. and only going backward up the stairs did I see a Zombie head. Sticking out of the floor...... Yes. The lil mofo was biting my ankles. If I wasn't loosing blood like the taxman had come to town. It would have been funny. Having said that. I did get killed by one when I was on the roof of an air control tower. While it was 2 floors below. It/She Beat the crap outa me. And I couldn't see her. Iv'e since learnt that if it happens. leave the building your in. True it wont help if your on your last ltr of blood. and 3 steps from death. But. Forewarned... :-D

My first nightime experience was turning a corner and walking (Literally) almost into a zombie. saw the shape and hesitated... Only its grunting saved me. Think if I'd stretched out I coulda touched it... Super creepy. Really fun :))

Dunno I thought it was a particular server. I had a couple like that. Could pickup stuff but couldn't open or close. On one or two zombies completely ignored me too. Only found out bc I ran into an open police station literally right into one. Brown shorts time....... I spun and run expecting a chase. But nothing. I suspect its some servers not updated..

You get guns for the same reason you got a brain. So you can decide when and how to use them. Guns DONT kill.. People DO.. The Zombies are your enemy. Eventually you will run out of.. A. Ammo Bc you shot ALL the living and a tiny portion of the dead. Or B.friends. Anyone with more than 1 braincell will avoid you. Or Kill you on sight knowing you will do it to them. Personally. I'd shoot you in the legs. That way when you became Zombie bc you couldn't escape them. The way your killed on sight victims couldn't escape you.... Youd starve to undeath.

Urrgh. It sounds harsh and like im criticizing Bandits. Just for the record Im NOT. Its not unreasonable to assume in a collapsed society predators will surface. Thieves and bandits will form groups and prey. Its the nature of the beast. And Im the LAST one to whine about people who pay their dues and expect to be able to play the game EXACTLY the way they wanted to. You Want to invade camps and hold up lone scavengers. Ive been held up cuffed and stripped of everything I had. They defended me when zombies came. You know who you are.. Kudos guys.... They left me in my underwear and made good thier escape;. I enjoy roleplay. And don't object to the holdup. Sure I wish it didn't happen but. lol We all gotta live right. But I do hold court when I am killed whilst my hands are empty and proclaiming that im friendly. and whithout a word. Or being bludgeoned with a baseball bat 20 seconds after spawning. And yes this did happen TODAY I spawned as another freshie was being killed. Only to be killed as well. So... I paid my money too. Shouldn't I have the right to play MY way.? I stick to NONE pvp simply bc I want to Explore and meetup with and interact with others who just want to survive in a post apoc world. If and When we cross into the PVP world And I do from time to time. The High loot servers are often the most dangerous ones. But the rewards.......... Nicee But I guess on those occasions im fair game. Sneaking into big cities for the good stuff has its risks. Pays your money you takes your chances. Right. :) This hasn't been a rant about being killed in a Pvp server. Its been a reachout to those with the courage to PVP against others who love to. And a finger point at the cowards who sit in NONE pvp bc they don't have the minerals to take their chances against REAL Bandits. When YOU come to a None PVP Have the courage to behave the way YOU expect us to when we cross into yours. Hold us up by all means. Behave the way you say your playing. NOT KOS and blame bandits Sure it sucks being robbed. But at least we can run and get more gear. Not have to respawn in god knows where and hope we live long enough to find something to open the only tin of food in town Bc its been looted to death by previous respawns. Probably killed by lazy cowards too scared to venture out to scavenge Incase they meet. A BANDIT.. EEeek Or worse still. THEMSELVES. Shudder ( The thought they might breed fills me with dread ) LOL Fairplay to all real Bandits out there. You know who you are. )) Hopefully we will meet again. But not under the same circumstances.

No. I consider them Cowards. Specially those who crawl from under a rock onto a none PVP server and shoot freshies. Or Kill Even when the victim has no weapon out and states he's friendly. They do it then hide behind the (I'm a bandit) Bullshit as an excuse. State it in clear terms so the victim has no illusions. This at least gives them the option to fight or flee. And have the moral backbone to live on a PVP server where everyone else at least has the guts to face you. Instead of hiding on a None pvp server in a city waiting for fresh spawns who have no way to fight back. Those who do this give REAL Bandits. a bad Rep.. And Yes. There ARE real bandits ingame. And I fear and admire them because They at least have the Nuts to hold you up and rob you. They don't need to crawl out of the shadows and shoot you in the back. And slaughtering freshies who prolly have 2 tins of beans and a handful of rags ISNT Banditry.. Its Murder. IF you want to be a Bandit. Fine. At least grow a pair of balls first.

I Don't use it. I normally enter via Steam. It also shows only 5 servers.all locked all empty!?

Decent enough hunt for goodies. But. If you see someone on the road heading into the town your going to. Chances are really high HE got to anything decent before you. A LOT of building have upper floors you can loot. Check upstairs. Damaged food IS still edible. 1 pack of ammo mb dead weight BUT. worth carrying just incase. If you find a weapon it doesn't fit you can drop it. 70% of the time I will have a mixed bag of ammo in the hopes I find a weapon. Excess can then be dropped in favour of reloads. And this isn't a critic. But.In RL you could aim for the head with a crowbar. DayZ+Zombies+Crowbars=NO. Just no. You'd be better with the monkey wrench lol Baseball bat was the better option. Pickaxe is always a good choice in a pinch. Burnt out trucks often hide basic weapons. Scavenge.. Scavenge.. Scavenge.. If you don't find a use for it dump it when you find something better. Waves frantically.... Ok im new. im happy go lucky. Sure ive moaned a lil about fools who shoot first and ask your corpse questions.. " You coulda been friendly.. " "You coulda stopped and talked" (Seriously. Like its going to answer. Gimme a break) I have however had a funny experience I feel I HAVE to share... So. Im creeping through Berezino and gathering (Need to survive) Goodies. Food(Check) Drinks (Check) Weapons. (Check) Mosin (NO scope) 1 clip of ammo. SKS (NO scope) 30 rounds. An Axe and a basic backpack. Food/drink and 2 bandages. Bring on the zombies.. LOL I meet 3 guys in the police station we chat and go about surviving.. So im looking basically for scopes. 1 or more. (MORE is always good) And run into a zombie. Kill it and run into a house to bandage. Mid bandage a hopper comes through a window and whomps me. WTH did that come from...??? I hack at it but to no avail... So I set of running. Turn corner And run into another... The noise attracts another.. OMG where did they all come from...? So I start zigzagging round town to try to loose them But my screen flashes that my arm is broken. Im bleeding and in pain.. So im thinking on the run.... And My Gameplan is.. The tech building. Get high get safe get a bandage eat and rethink. In my dash for safety. And trust me I zigged and zagged through as many gardens/homes/buildings as I could. NOT loosing zombies but somehow attracting them as I go. I run into a random Avatar... "Stop or i'll shoot" He says. ( By this time I think I have 3 mb 4 or 5 I didn't stop to count chasing me) I cant stop to bandage so stopping to type is a NO brainer) So I run past him. I DID on purpose hoping A. he would help.. Or B. They would forget me and eat him. a fountain of blood trailing from me as I pass running headlong.. Im thinking.. IF he sees them. OR they see HIM. BOTH will get the seriousness of the situation... But no. This moron proceeds to chase me as I duck in and out of gardens and round walls and trees as I head to the tech building yelling " Stop running or im gonna shoot" Apart from safety the first thing that occurs to me is. Is he Brain dead.... Doesn't he SEE or even HEAR them.? They are grunting and croaking and moaning like im fine dining and they are guests of honour. Ducking behind a wall I now have a broken arm. My screen is grey and blurred im panting like im about to lapse into cardiac arrest. so I give up... I stop. This idiot runs round me a couple of times. He stops.. And Shoots me. I fall unconscious. He mumbles.. " I gave you a chance to stop." And he starts going through my pack. Im ready to quit and respawn. When suddenly I hear the zombie train I was running from. Find HIM. NOT because we ran. But Because he fired warning shots followed by him shooting me. So they homed in on him.. And They Dine Alla Dumbass whomp chomp grunt groan chomp whomp. ( YES I heard lol ) Im not sure but. IF by a random chance your actually reading this.. (Chaser) Sorry dude. I was close to death and fleeing for my life. The moral of this maybe.. NOT everyone you see running is an enemy. They may NOT be scared of YOUR brave ass. But IF you see some unarmed freshie running in and out of town like his life depended on it..... Chances are. it DOES.. So look behind you. Because it maybe YOUR life too. The good lord gave you two eyes two ears. and 1 trigger finger... Use them in THAT proportion Lol Have a Great DayZ

LOL Good thinking. And It IS on my mustdo list. But since im new at this I generally type. But Point taken. :) At first I didn't want to shoot. Bc the noise attracts more. And more is always a bad thing. I DID try hacking the hopper but those buggers are a pain in the ASS to hit. In Hindsight (Which in every hindsight situation) Occurred to me AFTER I had a Zombie conga going.... Shooting would have been a better option. lol But I'd lost them before and figured I could do it again if I could get out of its reach. Running into Capt numpty wasn't part of the plan. Oh well. Another DayZ Another hard knock lesson learnt. NOT a moan. I just thought it a funny series of events. Payday is coming. And iv'e seen a decent Mic. Yesss Suns up and its gonna be a glorious DayZ

Sigh... When oh when are these bone lazy killers going to get banned..? Its not bad enough Zombies chewing on me. Or risking starvation exploring far places. For the FIFTH.. Yep FIFTH time now iv'e been shot and robbed by some lazy toerag who cant be bothered to explore. This Breed of ass would sooner shoot anyone they see and rob them then hide like a disease. Iv'e had one club me when I was searching under a bunk. This ass robbed me then killed me with my OWN Axe. Another waved hi. walked up and used a shovel to knock me out and rob me. Yet another who shoots me in the legs. Robs me and leaves me to the Zombies he just alerted. 1 Particular scum sucker shot e and laughed. Then shot me at a later date. And had the nerve to talk about it to his buddy. WHILST robbing my corpse. "Omg this is the same guy. Haha yeah it was I recognize his voice." This after I greeted him on a 2nd occasion (Bc I didn't know it was HE who shot me.) And now tonight On a loot only server. ( I pick them so I can learn the game in safety. And explore the map.) Walks up while im eating kills me robs me. Shoots a couple of zombies. bandages himself. Robs me of anything else he liked. And scuttles of like the rat he is. Its disheartening when your a noob and they use loot only servers. I think from now I will have to shoot ANYONE who comes near me. Like they do. I Apologise now In advance....... Rofl. I think I almost ran into one. I saw the (Armed to the teeth) shopkeeper and ran the other way. I watched a few vids of people playing before I bought it. And wondered why they all were so paranoid and Angry.. (Quote) "Drop your stuff and turn around or I shoot you in the face" NOW I know why.. lol A random question... I plan to try plenty.. Once this launches and I can make a camp or base and stash stuff in easy reach. It wont be such a pain in the ass to get something to open food with so I don't starve to death while I hunt for weapons. lol Will at least have a cache I can run to easily. Then dying wont be Such a pain in the ass. Sure there are houses. And great loot spots.. I just had to have a little whine. rant over.. BUT... IF I wanted PVP I'd pop onto one of the servers. I don't YET bc quite rightly Im not experienced enough. So I choose friendly servers so I can learn. The maps and the game. And just so you all know. A pickaxe in the head ISNT a universal "hello" And yes that happened to me.. haha I even heard him apologise he killed Bc he wasn't sure if I was friendly. Crazy.. LOL Friendly servers are there so beginners LIKE me can learn. Once im better at it i'll wander into a harder one. And then you can kill me and I wont moan once. I WILL have deserved it for being slower than the shooter. *Shrugs* Ive already been slower twice. I didn't moan about it. Ive shot someone but they shot more rounds. faster. and more accurately.
