I've heard people like to stash their goodies far off the map, referring back to it only by their "coords" I'm starting to overhaul with shit and I'm hiding my goodies in a far to obvious position on a fairly popular server, and I want to hide my stuff off the map. However, I'll never be able to get back to it unless I can refer to these mythical co-ordinates. I had a thought that maybe they show up as part of the GPS system that I have not yet acquired?

So I could just think of my base location as.. Go to this landmark near the edge of the map, then run off directly north for a few miles -
That moment when you see them drop to the ground, and you know how gutted they are to have just lost everything.. It feels so satisfying :)

No, if you want to save items you'll need a camping tent or a vehicle with storage space. Then you will need to note down the server this was on, as camping tents and vehicles are only saved server-side. Also, make sure you hide it well. -
I'm 15 and from england.. Just died, and I had an akm w/ 4 mags, m1911 w/ 10 mags, an alice pack and a rangefiner.. The fuckers ambushed me in the NW Airfield.. It was my best run yet, and I'm tired of running solo, I realised you're much safer from absolutely everything when you run in a team. Server where clans have territory

They already can. Metaphorical territory. Like when a dog pisses on something because he thinks it's his "territory" but in reality it's just some piss on the floor. Clans can go ahead and establish a basecamp and shoot whoever the fuck walks past, then that's sure as hell their metaphorical "territory" -
FPS constantly revolves around 10-15. My PC should be shitting on this game.

I can run BF3 on highest settings at constant 60 fps. For some reason, this game seems limited to about 12fps no matter what settings I put it on. On the highest of highest settings. 12 FPS. On the lowest of lowest settings with the lowest resolution. 12 FPS. WAT DO. The game seemed relatively fine when I played it last night, however. -
It always just stops on "receiving data" or one of those loading screens and goes back to the server list. I downloaded DayZ with the six-updater. WAT DO EDIT: When I join servers it says my battleye initialization failed, maybe this is causing the problems, how do I fix it?

I am in the same boat as you. I get to 3/4 of "Receiving Data" and it just sends me back to the server list. Installed CO from steam and followed the direction via the install guide. I.E. - Ran both games once' date=' installed the updater, let than run and update, checked that the files unpacked to the right Steam folder. Either I am missing something or there is a bug.
