My first kill was in elektro I was on the roof of a fire station and just found an FNX mag for my FNX and someone climbed up so I gunned them down! few seconds later over stepped the ladder and fell to my death :'(

well played mate! the Blaze is one of my fave weps to use! I prefer it over most guns!

The way I look at it the veterans and more experienced players dont need a loot map, they just know there way around and what buildings spawn certain types of items, Then the Bambi's can use the map to be on a level playing field.

I think the best I got was around 482m in elektro cant remember the range finders exact measurements

have you tried the "Verify integrity of Game Cache" option? other than that delete dayz and Re-Install might fix the issue

I think the point trying to be made here is that just because you have your gun out with no ammo YOU ARE still seen as a threat, if im looting a town and a player is running through it with his gun ready (Ammo or not) by default I think Hostile Player and I wont be taking any chances where as if the player ran through with his weapon on his back I think to either Avoid or Encounter depending on what the player is wearing. to sum it up, the safest way to play the game is to Assume what kind of player that person is and go from there

I would keep them on what they are now if they are stable then when the new renderer comes out you may be able to tweak them to higher settings

Dear Greg and the useless friend of yours who missed every shot in his pump action on the Hoggy Multiplayer Server... Do not run at people with a splitting axe, trying to kill them if you are only going to say "Wo, don't Shoot we're Friendly " just after you get shot in the chest... You then ran to try and save what little lives you had and that is the reason why we tracked you down and killed you. So I hope you read this and dont cry at me too much, that headshot was just waiting to happen ;) P.S. This is Bandit Country Boy!

dont build your pc for an alpha of a game buddy, focus on a different type of game to build it around like battlefield 4, get the parts that you could run it on ultra with that way if you're playing DayZ and have bad FPS etc you will know its the game and not your specs!
