    Ingame map

Has to do with topographic maps. "In order to keep things simple, topographic maps show lines for certain elevations only. These lines are evenly spaced apart. We call this spacing the contour interval. For example, if your map uses a 10-foot contour interval, you will see contour lines for every 10 feet (3 meters) of elevation -- lines at 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, and so on. Different maps use different intervals, depending on the topography. If, for example, the general terrain is quite elevated, the map might run at 80- to even 100-foot (24.4- to 30.5-meter) intervals. This makes it easier to read the map -- too many contour lines would be difficult to work with. Look in the margin of your map to find out its contour interval." 2. It's always fun to read your stories. What I already learned is to handle beeing killed... for a short time it bothers me, but not very long. :-) Nice to hear that my (fellow) countrymen are kind to strangers. ^^

Magnum vs. 1911 which is better

Ok, thanks. :-) At the moment I seem to be lucky. I have a CR75 + 2 magazines for it. So I think I will keep this pistol for a while. :-) I also have 3 Magazines for a (uh, dont remember the name) ZX... (cal. .45), but never seen the pistol.

Magnum vs. 1911 which is better

Are there great differences between the pistols? At the moment I have a CR75. Should I drop it for f.e. a 1911 or Magnum? What bothers me most is that I always find magazines that do not fit to the pistol i have. ^^
  5. Iron Maiden already knew this years ago. :P

    Camouflage?

Ok, got it. You want to say, I should think a little more in the roleplaying way. I will try to. ;-) That's what I actually did or nearly. I found a machete near the place the two robbed me. I went back to slash at them with the machete. I think at least one of them lost some blood before I was full of lead. :D

Lets post some screen shots (Standalone)

    Just my character... :)
  8. Really Nice... sounds like a lot of fun. A few days ago I also met a real nice Person, we travelled together for a while untill we were robbed by a bunch of guys with automatic weapons. ^^ The next time I start with a new character I will try it out. Take clothing that doesn't look too scary for other players and try to socialize a bit more with other players. ;-) Hunting... mh... at the moment I a heading to the far north-west of the map, maybe i'll find something to hunt there. Never seen animals to hunt by now.
  9. Thats the goal of the game. Exploring and trying to survive. See it as a challenge. If you don't like it, you should search for another game. Thats all the game is. And for me f. e. it's fun. Even beeing killed by another Player is part of the game and i can handle it. ;-)

    Zombies, interface, survivability

You know... ... you can tear T-Shirts into Rags and use it as bandage? ... you chop a stick with an axe, combine it with the same rags out of t-shirts and fix your broken leg? It's not really difficult to avoid dying by bleeding or to fix a broken leg ^^
  11. Then you are really lucky... half of the time I meet sombody I get killed. Even as a "poor looking new spawn" (what I actually was) I was killed. Sometimes i was killed because I hesitated... when I am playing on a server that says "only PvE, be friendly" I didn't want to shoot a player on sight, but they wanted. ^^ For the future I will try to avoid other players. Can't trust them. ^^ The airfields I should also avoid I think, but I want to have a full-automatic weapon... so I think I will have to take this risk. And btw. I don't like snipers. :D
