I was looting some barracks and all i had was a makarov with 2 bullets in a magazine, saw a fully geared player in the back room. Said hi, he started pulling his gun out. I shot him in the head. Did I jump to conclusions too quickly?

My friend and I spent two hours searching for car. Killed 4 people trying to find it. Finally got it, we were so excited, we drove it to Vybor to get gas, got in the car right as the hacker showed up. He shot our car many times, but it did nothing. We drove for a good 15 minutes away, we get out to loot a town, come back, somehow the same guy is there and mowed us down. So sad that hackers have to ruin the experience of such a fun game.

I get FPS drops about 25 minutes into playing that make the game unplayable. I think it's my CPU and that it isn't strong enough. Here's the specs, MSI Radeon R9 270 Intel Core 2Quad CPU @ 2.66GHz 4 gigs of ram.

I can not find any food or drink in dayz, no fruit, no soda, no cans of anything,is that a part of the game now?

I just bought the MSI Radeon R9 270 and every 10-15 minutes my frames drop to 3-5 and the texture gets terrible.

My character hasn't warmed up even though there's no part on his body not covered and it's sunny, it's annoying seeing "I am cold." Or, "I am shaking." Every few seconds. Also, I'm fed up with how you switch weapons. I tried to pull out my magnum in the middle of a firefight, and just as I did it, the guy ran around the corner. I was frozen in the switch animation and by the time I canceled it and could move he had killed me. It's ridiculous not being able to move and switch weapons.

I will be playing and all of a sudden the game will drop from 40- FPS to 4 or 5 and the graphics will look terrible. Really ruining the game experience, please help.

And I can run games like battlefield wihtout crashing so I don't know why this game crashes. It doesn't say that dayz.exe has stopped working, it just closes.

I had the same problem. Make "Fast Forward" Double-tap W in bindings. It fixed it for me.
