Game is unplayable since the last update ?

This game was much more stable and playable before the last update. Now when i try to play, game crashes every 10 minutes....and when i try to play again after a crash my video settings and control assignments and reset! Today i had to do my video settings and control assignments 4 times and guess what. Zombie ended up chasing me and i couldn't run fast enough because my controls were reset and i didn't know. Died. Lost my AK and bunch of other food and gear. The more i play this game, the more i hate it because it feels like It was in Beta state 2 months ago and now its Alpha. Done spending long hours to build a character only to get killed by a zombie because my controls got fukced after the game crashed. I am done.
