Crash sites are stocked with weapons and have nearly every ammo in it. If you found minimal loot in one then it means that it has already been raided.

Madvoid2012 Since March 24 West Coast I don't mind playing camel/suicide runner/distraction shots/ exc. Basically i want security and more importantly, someone to talk to. Most of my friends are busy with other stuff and even when their not they don't play Dayz. P.S. I should mention that in 4-6 weeks I'm leaving for college. Pros: I can play late into the night. Cons: I will be pretty busy during the morning/afternoon. EDIT: also, im 18, w/ mic, have TS & Skype.

I'm pretty well familiarized with the game controls but I just want to know how to toggle with weapons. (night/heat scopes, variable zoom, compass while running, exc.) I know how to use flashlights, shift walk, blah blah. Can someone give me a quick rundown on how to use these so i know how when i find these weapons.

i have the same problem. two days of playing and not even a default weapon when starting. does anyone know how to fix this?

It's been 2 1/2 days since i downloaded combined operations from steam. It has been nothing but redownloading and reading forum after forum of other installation errors. I've downloaded Arma 2 and OA twice. I've downloaded dayz files 3 times. updated the updater countless times. Finally, i got all the way to the server lobby and have even got the game working. Except for some last minutes errors. I get the "you cannot play... because of deleted files, dayz_code, dayz_equip, dayz_weapons, and dayz_vehicles. Please, i'm so close to playing that i can taste it. Also, sometimes I just get a black screen when entering a server (i can hear myself walking, crawling, exc. but no visual).:huh:
