I checked right after, it was damaged, not ruined. The next fight neither of the zombies hit me, so that can't be it.

I've yet to see a helmet of that sort, but I've found the pants and jacket on a few seperate occasions.

Found multiple boxes of both yesterday, I guess it's all just where you look. Jail buildings and stuff usually have the 7.62x39, that's where I found most of them, not necessarily in any specific location (bases, airfields, etc.) just in any of them, pretty much.

I was on the firehouse roof and all floors of the firehouse, as well as the top floors of the buildings around cherno. However, it should be noted that the vest is the only thing that was ruined and the items inside of it were completely untouched, in exactly the same condition they were in before.

That exact thing happened to me and a few buddies just last week. We looted elektro, cherno, SWAF, skipped balota and went to the military base out west, then to the one next to NWAF then finally to NWAF. After all of that we loot NWAF and end up in the jail building. Suddenly, one of our group drops upstairs, sniped through the window. We close the door and post up, there was 2 of them. We get into kind of a standoff that lasted for at least 15 minutes, trying to get a clear shot and guarding the doors etc. Suddenly, out of nowhere the upstairs door (that we secured and closed) opens and we all die, caught completely off guard. Idk if it was just some guy that spawned in or if one of the 2 logged, hopped servers and went in and logged again, went back to the server and killed us. The second option is certainly possible given the timeframe in which this all took place. Either way, it's bogus. Whatever it may be, something should be done about that kind of thing.

Just found a 1911 mag in one of those little stores, which is a first for me. I've found ammo there before, never a magazine though.

There are obviously pros and cons to both internal and consumer testing. The user end, if not both, should definitely have higher spawns for things to test, if only for the first patch they're out. There are tons of things I want to test, but simply can't because the parts or required equipment just can't be found.

My buddy I play with did that in a EMT suit from a military hospital lol. He had a few medkits, full suit, a bunch of food and supplies and stuff. Was pretty interesting, but I wouldn't wanna roll in that and get in a fight or anything...But fun for RP purposes.

Wait, since when is there a push-to-talk button on TS? I've never had to do this, ever... The only push-to-talk button, for me, is Ctrl for in-game direct comms.

DayZ SA is not a mod of Arma, hence the SA part. Also, the only real similarities are in the aesthetics of the modded out military weapons...other than that, the games aren't even close to similar. I don't really see how an observation, especially an accurate one, could possibly be "ignorant". Also, who cares if someone plays COD? I mean, I personally got tired of paying 60 bucks for the SAME EXACT GAME every 6 months and quit YEARS ago...But if people want to waste their money, who cares if they play COD? Either way, I think we can all agree COD sucks and DayZ rocks, lol.

Join a full pop server and just run to the closest big city and start running around punching people screaming into direct chat "I'M MIKE TYSON BITCH!!!!". That's what I do and it's usually pretty fun for both parties, lol.

That's assuming that they're as common as implied by your comment. I would assume that only at first, just to test the mechanics and for big bugs and such, would vehicles be common...Maybe not even then. Even if that was the case, after the first patch they'd be gone lol. Look at the M4, it was introduced everywhere at first, now you'll be lucky to find one in 15 heli crashes. I'm just throwing ideas out there, I have no idea what their intentions are.

Just hit enter when you spawn. In 3pp you can toggle the FP view.

I have this problem and have NEVER had this problem before .49... After a few hours of reading up on it, it seems as though x64 users have no issue while the 32 bit users have their game rendered literally unplayable in certain locations (this is my own discovery, through reading many many forums of people with the same problem, it seems not one single person running a x64 had this problem. However, this is just an observation on my part and is in no way a definitive conclusion). From what I've seen from the development team though, whatever it is, they believe they've isolated the issue and asked to let them know if it continues after the next steam update.

Long story short...No, I've never had my life saved by a helmet, but only because I was shot twice. I was sniped directly in the head with a pristine ballistic helmet and woke back up...Needless to say I wasn't in very good shape and then was promptly shot again, but it did work. Also, hard hats won't do that for you...but they will keep you from getting knocked out real quick by another player.

Maybe in the future zeds will be lured by the scent of blood and if you kill someone in your own camp, you'll have to dispose of them to not put yourself at risk? Idk, just a wild guess.

I used to server hop all the time when I first started playing this game, I must have hopped NWAF at least a hundred times...Never once broke my legs except when I fell off the roof by accident lol. Must just be lucky I guess.

I've never had a problem with clothing being ruined...If it keeps you warm and gets ruined, you'll still be fine until you find a new one....Or at least that's MY experience.

Find a jacket and an axe for firewood and you're all set...However, some servers are warmer than others and you won't need the fire and such.

Yes, because somehow hoping you get kicked from someone elses server, that they pay for, because all you're interested in doing is ruining other peoples gaming experience makes me a chump...Not you, clearly...That makes a lot of sense, way to go. (sarcasm)
