I should probably add I'm on the east coast US, anything from east coast to maybe central US would be preferable.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea...But if I'm looking for something specific like a magazine for a specific pistol, I'll server hop low pop servers here and there. That's how I discovered the problem. I think I might just join a high pop server and head straight for the biggest town nearby and brace for pvp from now on lol, finding gear is annoying and it only lasts a few days anyway (in my case, at least). I'm just gonna run straight to town and punch everyone I see in the face screaming "I'M MIKE TYSON B!TCH!" through direct chat until I get murdered.

Also, for what it's worth, that death was the ONLY time I've ever had a problem with being upstairs...Other than that, I've never had a glitch or bug kill me from being upstairs in a building. And I go upstairs in EVERY building I go in, just sayin. Maybe I'm lucky...

I would say it could definitely be either...In fact, the two geared characters I've had both died at the NWAF and it seemed to be via both ways mentioned. First, I was atop the ATC at NWAF and drank a soda to make room for my magnum rounds for the magnum I just found downstairs, all of a sudden my legs were broken, I was bleeding and unconscious and then died...I was the only person on the server. Then, about a week later, there was a downed heli in the middle of the NWAF (which was odd, as they usually spawn in the field at the end of the runway or in the field just outside THAT field) so I ran over, looted it and went back towards the hangars when suddenly I hear the sound it makes when you chop a zombie and my screen was black and I was again, knocked out. I woke up, got up and knocked out again then died...It honestly could be either. Roofs and stairs seem glitchy, but there are also tons of no-life, losers who sit and camp the airfields on lowpop servers, for hours on end hoping and praying that one of the few people who join will roll thru just trying to play the game, so he can satisfy his inner nerd and damaged ego due his immense shortcomings in life (probably a little dong), because he'd be instantly raped on a med/highpop server and needs to feel relevant. Point being, don't make yourself noticable and don't stand in one spot for too long at ANY airfield or high loot area, regardless of server population.

I've seen posts about people holding a full inv and having a weapon in their hands and logging off and relogging to a duped weapon...Not entirely sure how it works, but apparently it's been exploited...I'm sure it'll be fixed soon enough.

So my buddy and I were looting Novo on our way west from Svetlo in the tall, Empire state looking building. There were only one or two other people on the map, so we figured we were good (which is usually NEVER the case when you think that lol). We go upstairs and I'm looting a floor when i hear my buddy describe how he's just been chopped by an axe while he was looking at something on the ground. I start sneaking upstairs with my rifle drawn, sure enough I see a foot sticking out from the stairs on my way up, there's my dead friend. I slowly round the corner see him and quickly dispose of him. My friend respawned only about4 minutes outside of Novo, so I wait for him in the stair well with my rifle drawn for anyone else. I see a guy with an axe poke out from the stairs, so I ask my friend where he's at...He says he's running through a field, I assumed it was the soccer field in the south of town. It was THE SAME GUY, he apparently also spawned quite close. So I tell him if he comes up those stairs I'm gonna shoot him in the face. He started running down the stairs and I shot him anyway. He turned around and chopped me unconscious...LOL. My buddy got there and killed him and patched me up, I was lucky, but what are the chances that my buddy and this guy would both spawn that close?

Just started playing this game like 2 weeks ago, but I've got a good feel for the game...I've managed to have only 2 real characters thus far, both of which are dead lol. My friends got me into this game and kinda don't really play, so I'm lookin for friendlies tryna play some dayz. I like to play neutral, but I'll kos if I have to.
