So there's is suggestion Some sort of "panic" state while being shot at (eg facing more than 1-3 zombies or hearing some noises while being alone in the woods, dunno if that's fine) which results in shaking hands while aiming and some other stuff like heavy breathing. Though panic may be avoided by like drinking some alcohol (eg vodka, which should be kinda common in a post-soviet country) And to make people not to abuse alcohol in order to keep his character unpanicked there should be implemented some consequences of being drunk (eg having a blurry screen and maybe a possible knockout after drinking too much) IMO that would add a little bit of that "realism" to a survival-horror game Some would say "why my character is supposed to be scared if I consider him like a badass cold-blooded bandit?" I'd say there should be implemented something like a general combat (or maybe surviving) experience which is tracked during your survival. So like the more time you've survived the less scared your character will be when facing a group of zombies (the more gunfights you've been in the less panicked he gets while hears shots or being shot at) Cause I consider a typical survivor as a general citizen which is becoming scared of gunshots, zombies, being alone in place which is full of danger as that wasn't a part of his regular life Or maybe later on expand the character creation by being able to choose whom your character was before that zombie thing happened. Like he was a doctor, a mechanic, a bodyguard, a soldier or maybe a hunter (the most typical ones) And all those proffesions would have its pros and cons of course. So what do you guys think?
