Ever hears the story bout the guy who went to his neighbors house to as for help cuz he had been robbed with a butcher knife in his forehead? Even if you stab me in the neck im still gonna have the time to squeeze of a few shots before i black out. Never mind the noise i make dying. Knives are almost never instant just shoot. If you cant then leave. You dont have to kill everyone this is not call of duty. If it is that important to you then sneak up with your axe out.

Sp would be amazing. Sometimes i dont feel like playing with others i just feel like surviving and exploring on my own. Not to mention how annoying it can be to play on your own for hours only to have some server jumper kos and ruin it for u.

In the status report it shows this is already planned. Not to make sneak attacks easier cuz that is not needed but so that anything and everything can be used as a weapon. It would also allow u to attack with a gun without shooting.

Not supposed to be boring either. Hate to break it to u but running or walking for 2 hours between locations isnt exactly rivoting

I still dont think stamina is necessary as i think the game would get boring if it took the whole time playing to get from one town to another (not everyone has 8 hours straight to play). It would be cool though to add an increased speed sprint if u used epinephrine on urself.

Clothing Pockets (Separate the inventory slots!)

Item sizes should be fixed before worrying about slots in clothing. If you seperate the slots then u couldnt even hold a deringer in pocket. Not to mention all the things you could hold but cant already. Magazines is a good example u shoupd be able to carry in pocket of any pants or jacket no problem would just stick out. Space in clothing is fine -

There have been canibals forever. Just becaus among a tribe in the 50s they found kuru doesnt mean it should be added. They probably had some genetic defect or werent cooking properly. There should be no health downsides to being a canibal. Though i do agree with blood on face that would let people know what they were running into but not until they were already close. People should not be penalized for having a certain playstile diversity in how u play the game should be encouraged -
Not a big deal as matches are quite common. But i rarely need more than one to light a fire. Unless its rediculous windy or raining there is no reason u should ever need 3. They should add more ways to light fire. Sticks. magnifying glass. chemicals. U could use a flare.

I think they should leave the run speed alone for the moment. Right now the game is still in alpha and we are basically acting as testers. In order for the dev team to get accurate feedback we should be able to move around the map faster so we can experience everything without it taking a whole day to cross the map. As for vehicles i think they should be common for 2 reasons. One is that it would be realistic. I live outside the city in a small town and even here if me and 5 other people in this town were immune to some disease like this i could take any of 1000 cars in town. In the city even more. Thats just the way it is. Another reason is simply restarts. Right now the average server is restarting every 2 hours. Whats the point of adding cars at all if you have to work to get them longer than you have to use them. Even if they were persistant half the time i dont remember what server i was on. There was no war. No bombs were dropped. There was no group of a million car thieves to steal all of the cars. It only makes sense that they would be common. Even gas would be pretty common as u could siphon any car or even the tank below a gas station.

They should rework inventory so that instead of using slots in a backpack items just have a weight and u have a max capacity. Worked well in fallout and would stop things like a single rag taking up a whole slot. Would also fix things like people carying cargo pants inside cargo pants inside cargo pants for extra storage space.

I agree that the balistic knife is impractical. Even with the force of a regular stab the chance of killing someone instantly is pretty much zero. Never mind being stabbed by a blade thrown by a spring that probably doesnt even strike point first. NOt to mention that you just shot your blade and are now unarmed. Why would the devs waste their time on a weapon like that when there are so many usefull tools out there that coyld be implemented instead. For example the lockpicks that are being added. Or things to use the tools that are already in game for like the wrench or pliers. I think if u like the balistic knife from cod that much you should just play cod. It just wouldnt work like that

Thats what i mean. Just do away with slots altogether and use weight to limit how much is carried.

Tracking character lifespan/lifetime/longevity

You can write notes with paper and pen so it is easy now to keep a tally of kills if u want to and when u get bored you can use paper for fire kit. I would like to see a clock to tell you how many hours you have survived for though. Is not always easy to estimate. To be fair i dont know if i have made it much farther than 10 hours yet. -
Awesome idea. I think that would be very amusing and could also be used when u had someone handcuffed. Great fear tactic.

I actually think cards would be a great idea. Something to do while sitting around a fire with comrades. Kinda makes me think about playing caravan in fallout.

I think the devs should consider doing away with server restarts. They could just make it so that loot rerandomizes and respawns every hour or 2. This way the server could continue through full cycles of day and night and changing of seasons. It would also give people more to do. Right now setting up a base is pointless as after a couple hours it will dissapear. If everything stayed then people would have a reason to go after buildings to protect or eventually cars they wanted to hang on to and maintain. Also when people logged off their bases would become vulnerable to looters. I think it would add tremendously to the game. A group could take over a town as a safe haven and try to keep it.

What if servers were forced to pick up where they left off so that time would continue instead of looping backward. Then day would change to night and seasons would change. Then they could make it so that players who were dropped from servers automatically rejoined the same servers where they were dropped. This way if items were persistant you would lose nothing and if you were about to make a kill you would not lose your chance. You would also not have to remember wich server you were on and would not have to worry that your foe would just not rejoin

That or the clasic massive battle where you finally corner your enemy and rush in to finish him off only to have the server restart and deny you of that oh so satisfying kill.

To be honest i wasnt sure what persistance on meant. But that still would not be what i am suggesting as only some items would stay on server restart and the server would still restart. I want to see a server that never restarts. That way it cycles through day night and seasons. With restart you end up with 24 hour day best season servers. We should be able to take a town and try to keep it for as long as we want not for 2 hours and hope we get into the server before the raiders and server jumpers do

So took a break for a few weeks. So much improvement. Not getting killed through walls and have only seen one zombie walk through into a sealed room. I also like the idea of adding cold. Although i feel yoy get cold to quickly even with good clothes. At the moment the only issue i have noticed in a few hours gameplay is the axe. Not sure if it is happening with other weapons aswell but i am often unable to strike zombies with my axe. Thought i might have just been missing but even if i just stand there and swing till i am dead i cant get a single hit. Axe is in pristine condition.

That definatly sets things straight for me. I am from winnipeg where we have minus 40 in the winter sometimes and u could definatly freeze in december. If that is the case then i enjoy it. Would like to see how all the seasons play out. Will you need more water in the summer?

Hate to agree but have to. Played last night a few hours. Killed by bandits a few times. To be expected that is fine. Finally get some gear and good clothing and firestarting gear. Get killed by single zombie because the fire axe cant hit it. Gonna try breaking again. Is amazing the improvements you notice after taking a short break

Oh i definatly agree with the keep moving strategy to avoid being hit too much i was just stating an example that the axe apparently is unable to hit them moving or not. My last death was due to this.

How many times do we have to die to invisible zombies or zombies that can walk through walls and doors. This is a huge glitch and they seem to be doing nothing about it. This is driving me insane!
