A friend told me that Day Z will be wiping everyone tomorrow on patch day. WHAT THE .... No. This can't be true.... I've worked so hard to get to where I am.... Is this the truth? Or has my friend lied and become the devil

Simple as it sounds. If i change my name on the in-game screen. Will my current character be reset? Or will it simply change his name accordingly.

But there's no reason to sit here mocking those new to the forums in a 'Self righteous- i'm so ***ken mighty' attitude Most forums are made to help and guide people- and in that endeavor, your attitude will not do. If I may? How goes the current progress on the servers at this stage (I am aware i'm asking at exactly 3 hour mark). But I'm trying to find a "Server status/ progress" post on the forums that updates the players on well... the progress- yet Have had little to no luck. Any updates so far? Or any links to where I could find such post?

Hello. I live in brisbane and I'm wondering what are the times that the servers go offline/Online on a Wednesday for maintenance. Also- Are they down currently? If someone could just post the times that'd be great. Hello (This is my first ever post- Never thought i'd need to make a forum account but hey- what the hell right?) As my first ever post- I would like to ask a few questions relating to the Mosin Sniper rifle. During my time in day Z (110 hours) I have seen a total of 1. ONE Mosin. I've been looking in every major town- Every building scouring left to right- Top to bottom- And yet for me to come by them it is near impossible. Yet in my endeavor to find such weaponry, I have been shot/Sniped/KilledBeforeICouldEvenKnowWhatTheF***hitme/360noscoped by every Tom, D*ck and Harry i meet with none other then the very weapon that remains out of my grasp. My question is... What am I doing wrong? I'm looking at all the houses/buildings (Literally gentlemen, Every damn one) before i leave towns. I had even sunk to a low of going to a low populated server to hunt for one- Still, Nothing. Where are they? Why does this gun seem to haunt my very gaming experience... Is there a place where it is a 100% spawn? Help me fellow heroes. Bandits are hard to snipe with an AK + scope.... Especially when they have a long range weapon.
