You are like a sports commentator who never played the sport arguing with the people who actually play it. Enjoy your videos on your crap system, we will continue to thoroughly enjoy being a part of this great game being developed. Those of us who actually play it, are enjoying it very much...for only $30, best value of any game I have ever spent. You can't create greatness overnight, and true game development takes years. Your comments have nothing to do with the current discussion and I wouldn't be surprised if you are a troll from a different game.

Experimental Branch: 0.50 Discussion
dacatttack replied to SmashT's topic in PC Experimental Updates
Exp. has been very stable this week, tge best of all the times I have played it. I haven't had a crash in quite some time and it has been very enjoyable. Love the new gear, hope it goes to stable successfully today. -
YOU HAVE AWOKEN THE SLEEPING GIANT>>>GOOD LUCK!!!!
-
Yeah, we get it...you f'ed up and you feel bad so you are going to pretend to change things, but really you are just changing formats. Shit still smells like shit, no matter how many times you step on it. You guys have rewritten the same info four different ways, and it still isn't stable. Can we get at least get mandatory RESET WARNINGS? You are punishing the people that don't server hop...we stay on the same server, but we get equipment and other stuff wiped with zero warning.

sorry...you're right!!

You probably camp the 3rd person servers like the rest of the noobs....bring that to the 1st person servers and see how you do. Haha....tough talk, but mostly BS. I regularly kill people at the barracks, I'll take my sawed-off shotgun with snap-loaders all day versus "loot-campers" and their AK's. It's funny when people admit to being a-holes, cuz the people that know you in real life already knew you are an a-hole. The game has so few things to do besides gear up and kill, enjoy your camping, that sounds soooo exciting. Real PvP'ers don't need to camp, and don't need to use 3rd person. P.S. I had zero problem finding 4 AKM's today, with 5 drums and 200+ loose rounds from emptying 30-round mags. Killed a camper, here's hoping it was you. I leave the guns I don't need, since I am not afraid of facing other geared-up players.

Comparing COD and Dayz is ridicolous, they aren't even the same genre. I play both for different reasons, and I dominate both. COD games that came out two years ago, still have more people playing, all the time. I can't find a DayZ hardcore server with more than a few people on it during the day. Everyone talks about being realistic and then they play 3rd person...Lol...so realistic to see over walls. The Russian army has a massive budget and would definetly have high-tech guns and accessories. It's funny to say it is like COD with these guns, but it is like real life, where AK's are everywhere and even poor counties have huge numbers of them. -
There is still little else to do besides helicopter hunt or PvP once you have gear and supplies...once they add vehicles and bases and other items, it just adds more things to collect. Is it going to turn into Arma, with police in cities and borderline civilization? I look forward to added challenges for survival and survivor interaction, so getting bored enough to PvP or search the fields fields for heli's becomes less common...but still ruthless enough to shoot bandits and a-holes!!!!

"Most People?", please share your statistics...I haven't seen those poll results. Most people I see try to shoot me, unless they don't have a gun, then they are the nicest people in the world..I would travel with them and when they get a gun, they shoot me in the back; lesson learned. I don't play for PvP, but the bandits/scum force me to. I don't KOS and really enjoy the survival aspect, but if you aren't a skilled PvP'er, you will lose all the gear you spent days/weeks gathering. I've been on many servers with only 1-2 other people and I still run into them..and they still shoot at me. Not sure why that person made a "bash COD players" post, but stereotyping people for any reason makes people sound ignorant...considering I played a ton of COD and I am happy with the current guns; the developers should focus on vehicles, player-construction and smoothly working melee. PvP also helps when you melee against zombies; I rarely get hit, unless there are multiples or my hitbox decides to leave my body and hang out with the zombies outside. Considering that it is extremely easy to survive currently, it doesn't leave a lot of things to do besides loot military bases and kill people that shoot at me. Adding more guns makes it very realistic and hopefully much harder to find guns with matching ammo. I have around twenty guns in real life, and only my three 12-gauges use the same shells. Although only two of them would take a 3.5-inch shell and two are made for magnum loads. I did die from hypothermia last night, the temperature factor has made the survival part a bit harder, especially if you don't server hop for gear. I look forward to additional challenges of survival, so I don't get geared-up so easy with nothing to do but run to a military loot area. They have reduced the amount of AK's in the game since this update, but still plenty in Balota, with spawns pretty close to it. Game is too easy right now, and I enjoy hunting bandits when I am bored...took two majorly geared-out bandits last night with my shotgun and .357 magnum. That was after saving a "newbie" from zombies and gearing him up. Without the fear of PvP'ers and bandits...DayZ would become Fallout.

The AKM with 75-round drums or M4 with 60-round mags are as powerful as anything else they are adding...why cry when they add more? He is just worried that someone will have a decent gun when he runs into them. It takes little skill to camp and snipe people that are too far to fire back; where is the challenge? I have played all of the COD's and BF's and I am far more skilled at PvP than the people I am seeing on Dayz. I rarely die and I can kill most people with my Axe versus their gun. Go camp, set up a tent with your crying buddy and you can reminisce on the good old days of the DayZ SA...LOL I'm guessing you are both terrible, especially if you are worried about the other player's guns...I welcome the diversity of guns and other weapons, it adds to the challenge and should only worry people that are SCARED...like you two!!!

Are you gonna cry? Should they start the design for in-game Kleenex to wipe your tears? What an ignorant statement, anyone who starts their statement with a stereotype shows their lack of intelligence....this COD "fan-boy" can't wait to run into your whiny-ass. I know plenty of COD players on DayZ and they are formidable opponents, WITH ANY WEAPON. You would rather camp on a hill and wait for an easy kill instead of close quarter combat that requires actual skill. My 6-year is looking for someone to hide on rooftops and snipe with, since he can do it just fine at his age. Maybe you should of tried COD, then you would have better FPS skills and wouldn't need to resort to camping. DayZ, COD, or BF...no one likes a crybaby. If you are so darn good with your sniper, people shouldn't get close enough to you for it to matter. Stop reading the forum, and start practicing, because the more popular DayZ gets, more skilled FPS players will show-up.

Agree with Max. The recoil makes the 101 more accurate for everything after the first shot. If you guys with the AKM are hitting everything on the first shot(and killing), that is quite amazing and I hope to not run into you. I use single shot on the AKM, it just sprays on auto. I like the 75-round drums, because the are cool. I use a 100 round dual-drum(5.56) in real life, it is heavy when loaded, and it keeps the guns more stable when the drum is full. The AKM should be more stable with a full 75-round drum, but it is not factored in this game. I take the first AK I see and only switch if it makes sense ammo wise. It real life, a 5.56 is far more accurate than the 7.62, with almost zero recoil. My AK-47's on full auto can be tough to control, even with a grip on the front rail. My XM-15 on full auto is like butta...I almost exclusively use burst or semi for all of them, as does the rest of the highly trained world. In a real apocalyptic scenario, I would take the AKM over the M4, because the maintenance is almost nothing on the AK's.
