If they do a global wipe it is a different thing! I would be fine with that. But loosing chars due to bugs is something different.

Dear Character, Rest in Peace. 3 Months old, some hundret hours of playing. Killed 8 Players, hundrets of Zs, survived 3 ambushes and had the finest gear one can get. Today I wanted to log in and he was gone.... Pls fix that damn communication between servers and hives! Thx.

They are spawning in this deerfeeder-thingie. The chance is very very low though, because only 1 item spawns there. Checked about 40 deerfeeders with a friend on different servers. I found two tents, he found zero.

OT: I experienced tents as buggy or maybe its the servers... they restart very often. In fact I have lost some items in my tents and once a complete tent. BTT: The best place in my opinion is: - With a certain distance to any point of interest - but not too far away. - Not on the way from any PoI to PoI - Not too far away (not on the edge of the map - I think ppl are looking for tents there) - Hidden, so not that easy to see. Well, I think my (our) tents are only to be found by somebody else if he (or she) got lost and finds them by accident. Or if me or one of my buddys dont recognize a stalker who is following us.

Update: Now my (new 2) tents are duping items and are losing others. I have put an AK101 on the first slots. Today there are 3 AKs lying in front of the tent while 7-8 other items are missing which were in the tent. Seems tents are buggy. Best regards,

It was on an official server with persitent enabled.

Same here. First items disappeared which where in the tent. And after some more restarts (Server restarted several times ~ every 15 minutes) the tent was gone.
