Thanks guys, I've tried a new server that hasn't worked, I'm just in a completely new area again. Also, when the game is loading in (says DayZ on the screen etc) while joining a server, I now have a black border around the art work? Also in game, the message box where it says stuff like "you're thirsty" etc isn't in the bottom left corner now, its now more central than it should be. Anyone know why this has happened?

Hi guys. I've literally just been playing DayZ with my friends. We always play on the same server, the server has just reset so we all logged out next to each other as we're travelling together. I logged back in just before they did, and for some reason I am now on the other side of the map with no stuff! They logged in and they were still in the same place where we logged out with their stuff. I tried re-logging three times but it hasn't worked? So now I'm on the other side of the map from my friends, I have no gear, and we had just spent an hour travelling from where I am now... Does anyone know why my character has been reset? Yeah, I have 100+ hours game time on DayZ, and for the majority of those hours I've just been one of those guys who sticks to the same area and kills everyone I see. Now that I've changed how I play, I'm enjoying it a hell of a lot more! I try not to kill on sight, but then again I'm playing with 2 other friends, so there are 3 of us. So if we see someone, depending on what gear they have, we might just say hello or we might jump him and take him hostage for a laugh :D

Hi guys! My friends and myself have started playing DayZ slightly differently, where a lot of people will stick to certain areas and kill on sight to survive etc, my friends and I are running off into the wild not knowing where we're heading. We're trying to survive off killing wild animals and finding other stuff as we go. It may sound boring just walking through trees and fields, but its surprisingly fun! I know the game is in alpha so there are bugs etc, but one annoying complaint with it all, I'm walking down stairs and I randomly die due to a random broken leg? O.o Urrrgh so annoying! Now I have to find my friends again which is going to be a pain, but other than that I'm really enjoying just being away from the gun fire and surviving properly with making camp-fire's and getting to shelter etc. Great fun :)
