Typically I die a lot, usually at least once a day to a hacker, and usually its everyone running with me that dies from the hacker. Today seems extremely bad, are the hackers out in abundance because they think the wipe will wipe the hacking? Is the hacking that has been around since the first week in December being addressed? I just want to play DayZ, please let me, please fix it.

lol. It all depends on your play style. If you are into the PVP and you PVP in a high population server in a popular town for an hour, you will find a hacker, period. Roaming the countryside on high pops or mid pops, I don't typically run into them. They are there, and they are all over the place. Add to them the glitchers and dupers and there is a lot of abuse out there. I get killed about 2-3 times a day. About 1/6 deaths is to a hacker. On days that I roam or am off doing some weird mission instead of PVP I typically don't see hackers.

This entire thread is funny. I wish I knew Bohemia as intimately as everyone here does to be able to make these types of assumptions. Dean? Can we do lunch?

If the exact same hacks have been around for the 9 months I have been playing, and they have not been fixed, then I can presume the dev's will never fix these hacks. I would think 9 months would be enough. Hopefully one day they actually allow the server admins to see who is hacking at the least for local bans. I do not understand why the dev's completely ignore the hacking situation. They don't fix it, they don't care about it, and they don't talk about it.

I am completely addicted to this game. I love this game. I really would love to see hacking addressed now though please. I started sometime around December and the exact same hacks that were around then are still around and being used to kill players. I saw my first two BE bans yesterday and was so excited I took a screenshot. If you will not give hacking your attention, at least give the server owners the tools they need to catch them and ban them locally. In regards to the glitchers and whatnot, I understand a desire to not ban some noob who doesn't understand what a glitched mag he picked up is, but come on, you really can't program a magazine to not accept more then the desired rounds? There really shouldn't be a way to make a clip hold 10 million rounds, come on. Anyone doing PVP anywhere on the map on a regular basis has seen a hacker, if you haven't your head is in the wilderness somewhere and it's fine if thats what you want to do, but hackers are prevalent on all full pop's where folks go to PVP. Please ban the hackers and give server owners the ability to manage their server. Last issue with the game I love to death, thanks for fixing wall peaking, it is a major step in the right direction, but could you please fix the damned glitch rooms now that we cant peak walls to check the damned glitch rooms? Thanks for the game, it does truly rock, and the graphics are top notch. -northofnowhere

I can confirm they are spawning on the bodies on the ground, I have found plenty.

Our group is seeing this as well. Missing items that should be in the gear, and random character reset's on server restart. Twice today for me respawning after server restarts. -north

He suggested you splint or use morphine. Lately DayZ is not telling you about arm damage. Splinting should help drastically.
