So bandits are not allowed to camp 2 biggest loot spawns on the whole map? It's the best loot spawn because you have all types of loot in one place except the rarest military ones.

Play Arma 2(you know, the game you bought?) campaign and be amazed by the reason for that. Well you don't even have play it just google it.

Arma 3 has some more stance options which will hopefully be implemented in dayz.

Changes to character visual appearance Having certain gear should change character visual appearance. For example if you have an axe, you would put it on the side of the backpack or on the side like a gun. Putting a gun in the backpack would make the barrel stick out of it. That way you can tell from a distance if someone is packing. The same could be done with a knife, water bottle, binocs/rangefinder,... Disassembling guns The ability to disassemble rifles like taking off barrel, to make it shorter. That would make it take up slightly less space but would have to be assembled which takes a minute. Also finding disassembled rifles packed in suitcases and such as loot. Or it could also be used with the weapon condition mechanic. You first disassemble the gun then clean it. Gun strap Gun strap for main weapon. Having it would mean you can change to sidearm quicker since you just drop it. You know, kinda like IRL.

Removing side/global chat was a weird idea, I've never seen a game with no chat. Who cares about realism it's still a game.

To anyone wandering why there are no ghillies for female players: because the only female characters arma has are civilians. Now that i think about it the only female characters in all campaigns are civilan, no female soldiers.

I'm surprised bohemia didn't make any winter maps or winter equipment/camo.

Most games can only use that much since for some reason developers don't make 64bit games.

@OP 1. I'm sure rocket has already got everything he needs to make the standalone. 3. Normal people understand the reason so much hacking exists(arma engine, dayz being a mod) and will buy the standalone regardless. Actually, that is exactly what they are doing. Completely changing the engine to make it safe for children.
