Interesting because I’m thinking the opposite, don't listen to everything the forums say because mostly people don't know what they really want. And the whiny ones are always the loudest.

I generally have helicopter commands mapped so the collective is W and S keys, and tail rotor is A and D. Then you have either mouse,joystick or arrow keys for cyclic. It works in arma but in take on you really need a analog control for collective. But i only have a standard joystick with the small throttle control and if i map that to collective i can't use tail rotor. I'm thinking of buying another joystick and map the x axis to collective and y to tail rotor hehe. The only other option i see is to buy the expensive saitek something that also has pedals.

Haha yea, the series is great. OP probably doesn't even watch his videos, only sees him on frankie's videos. He said he was killed by a nobody as in a random non-youtuber player, not a hacker. -

You could do it by changing a bolt to a "magazine" with 3 ammo and make the reload time longer to simulate reloading a bolt by hand. That can't be much work as you only change a few values.

You are playing the wrong game then, there is another game(name starts with war) with more emphasis on fun that would better suit you.

If you read the patch notes you would know it doesn't kill you and you could still end the process with task manager. I'm sure with a couple screenshots you could explain to the server admin the nature of the combat log and could keep your gear. People these days don't (can't ?) read anything. -
I play on a server with custom buildings added and i didn't need to install that. I guess you can make a script that creates objects at specific locations and then run it on start.

What about hardware? Is it fair to reduce graphics quality just so some people with 10year old PCs can play? What about the map? would you play on 5x5 sqkm map? @WalkerDown sorry mister "i know everything about hacking so standalone will have the same hacking problem" but as they say, don't get attached to your gear. -

The op is thinking of leasing a game for x amount of lifes if i understand correctly which is not very practical since you can buy unlimited lives for 20€.

I love how people are using the hacker excuse to justify combat logging. I'm waiting for someone to start saying he hacks to be safe from hackers. If you don't have a stable internet connection how do you expect to play ONLINE games? Sorry but a stable broadband connection is one of the game requirements(if playing online). -

namalsk has military spawns everywhere -> everybody has .50 cals too. I know of at least 3 bases with baracks(best spawn) that are not in snow. Instead of camping best military spawn, everybody camps best residential spawns in vorkuta. So it's the same thing really. -
Yeah cold is really not that dangerous. I climbed the mountains a few times with only a few heat packs and I never got sick. Once i ran out of heatpacks and was shaking for about 10min and nothing happened. I like the rare food and drink but military spawns are just too common. It's just another map, not really better than original dayz.

Namalsk has too many military spawns, so the first thing you get is a m14 or m16acog with tons of mags. -
