Hey guys I spawn und i get killed while i am not able to do anything. Its already the 3rd time already and it is not funny to start over and over again without doing any mistake. Why i am not invulnerable or invisible while i spawn until i am able to defend my self? Empty servers are Boring. Guys i hope you can understand it is really annoying to lose your Character with that you traded and done so much. You can Imagine that it is not funny to start over and over again without doing any mistake. And dont tell me the Standard answer = Its an alpha what do you expect? If this is only anyone can say then he shud not post it here coz its written in steam so i know it. This explains not why i sometimes spawn on a complete different location from my logout Position. What can i do against this issue ? Or maybe its a serverproblem ? i have no idea how it comes on some servers. Regards Chris @ Mod it were nice to rename my Title ^^

I have the same issue but it does not disturb coz exit or crash ends in the same result for me ;)

You can try it via Controlpanel of your Videodriver. i had same problem other way around in FIFA 15 bcoz it does support only 16:9 and i am using 4:3 But maybe you know it already. And to be honest 21:9 is really rare and most games i know does not support it.

Hey guys. I wonder that Arma 2 works fine but DayZ SA Stutters in same City like Hell bcoz both are using the same engine and nearly same map. A firefight i would lose bcoz i am not able to aim due heavy FPS Problems. Things i already Tried. My Arma 2 settings. = Nothing better. Very Low Settings = Still lagging Ultra settings = Diashow ^^ Different Start Parameters Combinded = No Different Mallocs Compiled by my own system and used = Nothing better. On Land or Forest it works fine and i come over 70 FPS while in huge cities i only get average 20 fps. System Specs : Windows 8.1 Pro AMD 4300 FX @ 3.80 GHZ Geforce 560 GTX I am out of ideas. I never thought that DayZ is so much different. I thought its the mod who simply is an SA. But ok i do not look much about Backgroundinfo. Fix the Performance at last step makes really sense. ;) For me as Musican is Mastering the last step too. Anyway thanks you for the try. 1. Im sorry but i can not hear this anymore but it seems to be the universal Answer for all Problems in this game. I thought any People in here has a Solution for me :) 3. I never wanted to play this game on ultra , even Arma 2 does not run smooth if i set everything on Maximum.I play DayZ like Arma on Medium and high except. some settings i do not like. (makes no difference if i set these switches lower ) If i find a Solution i will post it here. Maybe it gets Pinned so everyone benefits from it. Regards Chris

i remember in Fallout u were able to craft your own ammo at a bench. Things for crafting this shud be rare und u really shud think about what ammo you wannt to create. For example : Small caliber (9 mm 0.22) needs less needs less Gunpowder as AK Ammo (7.62x39) or Sniper rounds (7.62x51) needs much more gunpowder. For example. percussion cap , Gunpowder ,plumb and shells for Shotgun ammo. What are you thinking about this guys ? @freethink I agree. i found last time a AK 101 with full 4 mags and 2 full Drummags ^^ 5.56 mm is really rare so he musst duped his items bcoz i found in 10 hours playtime only 20 shots at the airfield.

Hey fellow Survivors =) I just want to ask about Linux binaries. i know we cant get serverfiles yet and i heard all servers run on windows. But are Linuxbins planned or will they windows only?

Hello guys. I get always kicked and if i switch the server i am naked again. Wich means i can start a new game Yeah I love to Start again over and over without dying. Its not the first time. Ok seems my Char is deleted so i start again. Starved 3 times in a row bcoz i did not find anything to eat (nothing really nothing even not a old shirt) so i changed the server to a low-Populated bcoz i dont want to starve again. Kicked ,next server , wait around 3-5 mins (60 sec penalty + Please wait) aaaaaaaaand kicked again. Next server and i start as new one again. If they are using Private Hives then i want to see it in the list. This is unbearable over time.

Make an entry in the rightclick-menu "Report server" so we can report them. So simple could it be. (Abuse shud be Punished) Autokick is nearly same for me as a PW. (maybe only the right steam-id will be acceptet but i have no clue) Servers who are not Connected to the Public Hive should not be listed (except Private Hives) The Quality of the game suffers dramatically if u didnt find a good server yet. And as i said , High Populated are simply too hard for me.

did you try to increase your inputvolume ingame? (Audio-section) I have same issue but it was my fault.

I play a few Minutes or while waiting and my friend have the same problem. Maybe the Admin wanna be alone. I prefer low-Populated servers with my friend bcoz high Populated are too hard for us yet. We wanna Explore the game it self first and we enjoy it.

Depends wich one u did buy. But higer resolution means also your GPU it self need more Power.

u can try to lower "sceneComplexity=150000" in your DayZProfile. U will notice more fps at cost of some trees and other objects who are far away. I have it on 15000 wich looks not so nice but i have a good fps.

The Engine is not complete modified yet. It looks like the engine does not use ur full hardwarepower. Sometimes i get only 15 fps while the GPU works only at 25-40% You can´t do anything yet. In wilderness its different as you can see in this Picture. My gpu works at 99% at mainmenu. Its really strange. But its an Alpha wich makes still fun ;) Open the Spoiler to see the screenshot.

Its win 7 or 8 (u can use the Legacy Windows through Desktopsettings) @abentwookie Could it be that your Audio is Disabled in your Bios ? Bcoz even if no Realtek-driver were installed then windows would use his own driver if possible. NVIDIA HDMI seems to be the soundoutput of your Graphic-chip. (i have no idea about your Laptop-Specs.) press windowskey + R and type dxdiag. Press NO if he ask about driversignature. (it cost only time ) Then click on " Save Information" and send the dxdiag.txt or Post it here. Maybe knowing your hardware could be useful.

You dont need to join an PVE-Server if u dont like it. I like this idea as long the hives are seperated. (PVP and PVE) because i dont want that people join PVE to loot everything and makes with the same Char PVP after they got their imba gear. Everyone shud play this game as he want bcoz he paid for it.

U can move your mouse but the Cursor is not Visible. ;) I have Same issue if i use one of ne Factory-Presets. There is one Solution i know. 1. go to C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\DayZ 2.Open the DayZ.cfg 3.Search for by Pressing CTRL+F Resolution_W= Resolution_H= And change it to the Resolution u want to use. Example : Resolution_W=1280; Resolution_H=1024; I guess u have 640 x 480 ^^

Hey guys. Im slowly get pissed off while im roaming around cities. In the Landsacape a have around 60 fps while cities are a Diashow or sometimes i get freezes while my client crashes or hangs while it can be killed by Taskman only. Even in Villages i can feel a Massive FPS-drop. I hate it to get F*cked while i am not able to defend my self.and the only thing is = Boom " YOU ARE DEAD" I mean ok its an Alpha but that shud be fixed at first. I am not whining but this is Annoying if u died a few times in a row bcoz of that and kills fun. Maybe someone can help me out while they work on it.
