Yeah, the same zombies that ruin your vest and jacket with one hit, kill you with one hit when they hit your head. I'm not sure but I think some kind of helmet would save your live.

Not only common sense...the friggin status report from this morning says it plain as day. ;) And pillock: Yes, sadly that is the case these days.

What I'm saying is it seems unusual to find so little on stable, I don't care about anyones playstyle. You sure you were the first to loot the buildings? Also: keep pistols in your backpack, keeps that 1911 from getting ruined. ;) It gets ruined the least of all the gear on your body. Fall down some stairs -> ruin your pants and everything in it (seriously, who thought of THAT one? what sense does that make? Zombies hit you -> ruin your vest and shirt. Also you get shot in the back a bit less than the front, usually, so gear in the backpack is, in my opinion, the safest place. Personally, I keep my sidearm in a protector case (if I have one) inside my backpack. Cause when I need that thing, I need it to work.

What I like doing the most is completely surprising people. Was with a group of 4, fully geared up, on the way down to Berezino, saw some guy standing in the field and went up to him. He turned around...he didn't even run, he basically just gave up, he saw the end. We didn't shoot him tho, you could literally hear the surprise in his voice. He said he was looking for an animal cause he's low on blood. Ended up shooting a nearby deer for him since he had no ammo and, after blood-testing him, gave him a transfusion and then sat around a fire he made after we explained him how. Makes for a nice feeling. Just shooting him makes for a short moment of "hell yes we fucked him up!" and then it's over. Helping made for 10 minutes of sitting around the fire, talking shit and eating meat. Then we parted ways, we went into Berezino, he went towards Svetlo.

On stable? You must've been unlucky. My two mates and I did Balota and Pavlovo, walked away with two Ak101 and an AKM, with four mags each, sidearms with ammo and full military clothes and gear. Completely ridiculous. On the new experimental tho...digging it! Walked from Svetlojarsk along the eastern and southern coast and then up towards Zelenogorsk. Had to use a farming hoe until I hit Elektro where I finally found a Fireaxe. Had a Magnum with me the whole but not one shot. Finally found 6 shots in Cherno. After that, the first and only other usable firearm (meaning with ammo) was the Mosin with 20 rounds I found in Pavlovo. Honestly, the less military stuff and weapons spawn, the better.
