just because it says "you are cooling off" " you are warming up" isnt anything to be alarmed about its just a notification of status change. you go into shadows you get cold, stand in sunlight get warm. the game is just telling you that. sure there are times when you're wondering is it broken? is it really that bad? the only time u need to worry is when u can see your breath (heat loss) and your "promtly cooling off" or "rapidly cooling off" make sure your clothes aren't wet. make sure you have shelter if you dont have a raincoat. if soaked. (yes 3 seconds to soaked lol) just wring or drop your clothing to get dry. use a fire place. just because these mechanics are changing the way you play the game doesn't mean they are broken or need to be removed. this is the direction the game is taking get used to it. i personally think its awesome the downside i see is. now there is tons of clothing/gear people just ignore. like "tracksuit pants'> who is going to use them now? only a naked player. kinda pointless if your in the shadows/cold or wet and you want to put these on. sure carry them around for dress up times but they wont help you survive.

to fund server costs and running costs. why not make like "apocalyptic advertising". billboards and posters etc?

recently ive taken 1 hit from a pick axe ruining my ttsko jacket,gorka pants,hunters backpack,dpm jacket, 3 protector cases and everything in them. my shoes my helmet, but not my weapon. all from 1 hit, when i shot/killed him at close range with a mosin unscoped, he still hit me 1 second later.

ok then you disabled shadows? or some of the graphics settings. if you click "restore defaults" then it will be ok

as someone mentioned. firestation towers. dont touch the wall with the shelves on it. (not the lockers, the shelves) also dont stop moving on those same floors. atc tower. aswell. same shelves and lockers. note, if you hear the hit. your leg is dmg'd then again. your leg is broken. then again you are dead. the game act's as if you have fallen through the floor to your death. note your gear is always ruined. your pants (common with falling death) tip. dont stop moving when on those floors. if you hear yourself taking dmg. if you stop moving your leg will break if you stay still even further, you will die. key. DONT STOP MOVING when this happens.

so im in novo right, see 2 players holding up a new spawn, they just shot him. so i shot 1 of them in the back. his body hit the ground blood flys up, he slides to wall then instantly disappeared. his mate ran off. i said. "put your gun down or your next". he ran, lost sight of him. bout 5 minutes later i take a hit in the back from a ak101. i ran into nearest house. up stairs into first room ,lay prone on the ground, check gear. pants ruined, nothing else. no bleeding sweet. pull out side arm. wait for him to approach. i hear him below me on the tile floor. then i hear a zed, he shoots zed with about 5 bullets. then about 10 seconds later i hear shuffling on tile floor again, and then bam i hear him fire 1 bullet. im unconscious. wtf. there is no way he had height advantage over me or could see me through a window. especially since i am proned and the next floor up, so i wait it out. press esc + enter to see if i can see him looting me. sure enough i see him standing over me. no door sound, just teleported to me? about 1 minute later i come too and he is nowhere around. door is open and all my gear is just strewn around the room. still intact. nothing missing. no weapons or ammo taken. wtf? thats bloody creepy. is this the new way to greif/hack people. hack them unconscious then throw all there gear off them onto floor?

no ones mentioned the ALIEN topo location. =D do you guys even know about it. ive taken people there. its entirety is only viewable from the AIR. however the map shows it well.

no the baracks main door is closed, the shower is open and the 2nd door after that.

well yeah ive fired lots of .22 rounds. with and without scope. saying the .22 should not have a scope is dumb. most small bore ranges are 50 and 100m, except the range of a .22 is well beyond that.

dont under-estimate sporter. 1 shot to the head = dead (balistic helmet will save u , only knock you out) 30 round clip makes it the spam beast. people may laugh at you but they wont be running away when you break there legs or arms. 22 ammo so comon. 30 round clip . not so. I play hard mode sometimes and take on ppl with a .22 got killed last night by a female player saying "hello, anyone there". secretly baiting people out so her 2 armed friends can murder people. i got shot 1 hit by .22 rifle. broke my arm. i couldn't aim my mosin steady and ended up getting knocked unconscious from the 2nd shot (yes he was reloading 1 at a time) that coupled with being stuck in close quarters with a mosin . i died. damn

found diff 3 times yesty and the visor helmet spawns @ barracks and visor in the bins up in firestation. and gasmask in barracks. works well.

yes, it will also melt your face off. (im not joking) heating up takes a while from clothing. some clothing wont give status changed until u drop it on ground to "wring" it out.

the invisible in buildings bit drives me nuts. esp in a police station. they get you no matter where you are in the building.
