once tents persist with gear in them, and trucks stay now. then we can begin having some real "hideout" going on. atm having multile hideouts or tents is no point such a pain in the ass come wednesdays to visit them all. find space for all the gear stashed and pack them down. which 1 guy has to forgo just about everything for 1 tent

actually, depends, could be bow/crossbow, could be teleporting 1000 fists, or a mosin sniper hitting you in the head. most times you might just hear a twack sound or nothing at all. they fixed the gunshot bug apparently. but i imagine it to rear its ugly head in the future just like other bugs.... cant wait for "drink, fall down bug again" so fun....

how about pushing the game along further. you have $90000000 of our money, you have been working on this game for over a year almost 2, its still in pre alpha, the game is a joke in its current state. (dont get me wrong, its fun to play, the atmosphere and everything in the game has a great setting, but this was already ARMA2) what i see dayz as atm is like counterstrike 1.5 , sure its all the work from halflife. but just a mod ontop .. same thing with dayz. its arma2/3 with slightly different UI and textures. that being said. LOOK at the sheer amount of MONEY they have. however. what 4 devs put out a game like "the forest" you think. wow. 1 year and 4 ppl can do this. and yet BI with $90000000 havent done shit in terms of progress. its like a weekend chore to them is it? seriously. I love dayz, i love the idea of the game, the potential for it. the execution and the money they have taken. makes me disgusted

the guy studied "tribal hunting". yet still has arrow on wrong side of bow... in DAYZ. its so stupid. u can run and gun. but u cant move and BOW. wtf. seriously. dumb

yeah, game mechanics and ui are totally shit. seriously. the worst mechanics/ui in any fps styled game i have played recently. worse that 1.0 of stalker. on the other hand. its so military its not funny. the engine was designed to handle all the realistic projections of a battle field. probably why they need a new engine. dayz probably uses about 2% of what ARMA was built for. on top of that as, someone stated previously. dayz feels like your character is a TRUCK, when you move around the game it feels so awkward and clunky, 1 server to the next is completely different. the reason I personally think this game does so well is that "random" element is so prevalent in this game. and i say that very LOOSELY anyone timed the eating pattern? (not lexx)

haha, that reminds me of stalking a guy for ages, had him trapped in a cop shop south of vybor. told him to come out with his hands up. then someone (i didnt know of). says no you put your hands up. im on the mic like. wtf dude im the one with the gun on you. then i realise im surrounded by a 3rd party of military style guys (4 of them, not friends with the guy i was holding up) im like frozen still like oh shit.right infront of me other side of fence i see a guy with m4 on me, i hit Z to prone instantly behind the cop shop stairs. took a shot to the gorka helmet. ruined it. but only knocked me out. then i hear these guy took all my gear off. talk to me on mic. normally bandits , buyt decided not to finish me off. even left me with ma akm, a clip up the road. etc. so i ran up the road. thinking about what just happened. talking to my pal on steamvoice. saying wow. ok well i still got my bag/food and akm/1 clip + a drum mag i found further up the road. then im running up the road. see a sniper proned in the ditch. im like hi again. his buddy (hot head) comes up like hey wtf. get out of here. were u going. etc. trying to act staunch. his mate like oh hey man i took the wrong clips here have these back. gave me 2 more akm clips back. but kept my 101 and clips etc. after that i was like ok. ill leave now. by. i leave. then i end up at military base vybor. run into them a 3rd time. same guys. except i hid in the bush thinking. "these guys just took my shit" why shouldn't i continue to hunt/ruin them.... ok. right. 2 leave base running fenceline to nwaf. i wait for a 3rd. he doesnt come. ok fek it. i get up and run behind these other 2 guys. they just assumed i was there 3rd guy. i kept following them for like 2-3 minutes. ha. this is hilarious. these guys were pro gamers. always circling players etc, but yeah 1 of these guys turns and runs back past me going back to military base. i kept following sniper guy up to the mound... i prone in bush fence line, he doesnt see me. im like right behind him. he turns to run back to military camp. runs right over my body. im on mic like "Hey man". now here is the funny part. the kid jumped out of his skin on mic "like oh holy shit man you just gave me the biggest fright ever,, etc,". i had the jump on him. he didnt have his gun pulled up. only idle. i had xhairs on him. hes acting all like oh i must be friendly or i would have killed him. then about 10 seconds after he calms down a bit is like "oh wait are you that same guy from down the road?" im like "of course". he puts on this act. "wtf bro. dude are you following us. dude im going to kill you man. if i see you again 1 more time im going to shoot you. piss off" then ran off. im laughing soooooo hard, so are my friends on mic. this guy goes from terrified kid who got startled to all a sudden. im the man do as i say. anyway short ended. waited for them in firestation nwaf. while 1 of them scouted from control tower. shot his mate on ladder in firestation and bled out while his other mate tried to bandage me thinking he was me. haha. dorks. funny how people can change just like that. yeah u can do things to trick ppl, like once I had this random bambi spawn by me. i was bambi but i found a mosin under a generator. no ammo. didnt even want it. only carried it to test this guy. found the nearest water source. went to drink from it like right in front of him while talking general hoohar,, only trouble is, he tried to fist me and i wasn't up for that so i just ended him. classic.

after playing this game for a few hundred hours (430) I have finally figured out why other friends refuse to play it. calling it a "trolls" game. thats the 50/50 you speak of. 50% play the game. 50%just troll the game because of their knowledge of the bugs and crappy interface and game mechanics .

take all the ammos and all the firearms and throw the in the bush.

mate, u can hear bow and crossbow there is 3 sounds, 4 if you count the empty sound "twang" there is the whistle of the arrow and the impact hit. the reload sound. so far, ive played this style character mostly, probably because in many mmo's or online team games. im always maining support/healers. well in dayz im a little twisted. instead of healing ppl as a medic. I secretly poison them. well i dont think that trick works anymore. but yeah. u can sometimes even pretend to help ppl and then like get out the defib and some ppl will stand there watching u do the animation... then they just drop dead. haha. dont carry guns. you will get shot. u might get shot anyway. but higher chance. especially if people can scope u from distance and see no weapons. just carry stuff like crossbow, most ppl dont freak out about it if its on your back. yet most the time if your stealthy like me. you can get within 20m of someone, and bow/crossbow them. even infront of their friends, some don't know wtf is going on. mostly i just have the self sufficient stuff i look for sewing/leather kits, rock for sharpening axe bow + arrows crafting needs. fireplace/gas cooker + meat. maybe a morphine inj + medkit thats literally all u need but up until recent I have had stiff luck finding bolts. even with my pristine holosight i have taken almost all guns into the bush and thrown them away, even the ammo's well more so the ammo's. some people may think this is dumb. but i think its gold.

exactly, then after a week of playing a few nights, i finally found some on a server, bugged loot in all the barracks vybor military, i counted probably 30 guns including ak74 ak74u ak101 akm and all the others. funny thing is i only took the bolts and ammo and clips. threw the clips and ammo in the bush and left with the bolts. i was considering throwing all the guns in the bush 2. but so many... i normally do.

that when the game is released there still wont be jump.
