yea I never knew about Dayz until I watched youtube videos. I don't remember who it was I first started watching but frankieonpc is a great channel, I always enjoy his videos. But im not gonna lie I was kinda upset when I started playing. I used to watch a lot of bandit videos and I wanted to be one but now adays bandits are people who just camp and mow down people at any chance they get. The videos that attracted me to this game were of a group of people 4 or 5 I believe they would actually hold you up and steal your stuff and then leave you there handcuffed and blindfolded. which seemed fun because realistically that's how it should be.

Yea Romeros zombies are slow but it all depends on what kind of virus turned the people. In 28 days/weeks technically they aren't zombies they are stll people who are infected by a new strain of rabies. So technically they aren't dead. Romeros zombies walking dead ect zombies are slow because the people are dead so the body cant move as fast. which would technically make sense since they are decaying bodies which are losing muscle tissue and have the lowest of the basic brain functions. Imo if you are dead and by some miracle you come back to life as a zombie you shouldn't be Olympic sprinting across fields especially since the average person these days cant sprint for as long as the infected in 28 days/weeks could let alone if they are dead/infected by rabies/rage what ever you wanna call it. and not to mention you cant really beat on Romero since if it wasn't for him we probably wouldn't have zombies since he is the god father of zombie movies Night of the living dead set off the entire zombie genre. Before that "zombies" were considered people under mind control via voodoo/spells/witchcraft.

ok so just curious if us sks lovers could get more attachments. id like to have more then 1 scope. not to mention the only scope we have is starting to become harder and harder to find and now when we find it a lot of times its damaged already. maybe a barrel extender with a silencer would also be nice. and ghilli suits. I think we should have 2 types military and civilian. Military you can find in the obvious spots were military gear spawns maybe rarely in civilian housing since you can purchase them as a civilian. But the actual civilian ones can be crafted in the same aspect of the mosin camo even if you need to make piece by piece like helm chest legs gloves . build it with grass twigs rope maybe have to make mud to stick it together by using a shovel to dig up dirt into a bucket and add water. more masks would be nice im a big fan of masks and anything cosmetic. camo face paint dyes for clothing so we don't all have the same looking gear. im not sure if there is a way already but a way to mend backpacks and rider jackets would be cool too. clans in game with some kind of noticeable marking to know who is with you maybe a party option like most games have with your ingame name over your head in green and others not in group red. these are just some ideas i thought would be cool sorry for my spelling/punctuation hope you guys like them.

Hey as most of you know im newish to the game trying to be active on forums. I was looking through some posts and was wondering if there was any lore or back story to DayZ? Like how did this happen was it a virus, nuclear , a accident ? Just curious figured it would make playing the game more interesting.

well as cool as making our own story line is cool it would still be nice to have a accurate base story line and we could just make the side storys. I wish someone would make a dayz comic or something like that. I would but im no artist. but like you were saying about the clues it would be cool if they put laboratorys in game and we could search them and find books that have notes in them about experiments and what not. or hell there is a huge crater somewhere that I passed maybe it could be micro bacteria from outerspace that seduces its hosts to do its bidding. that's why I love zombies the possibilities are endless. just need the imagination because really anything is possible in this world we live. since we added zombies to it.

Yea I found out later that it was the book of eli. It was a pretty good movie. I didn't know ballistic helm actually helped with damage..maybe I should start wearing one.

iv noticed there is little gear spawning in bolota also. Usually I can run through after a reset and full gear but now almost nothing spawns. And iv noticed ALOT more items are spawning damaged now. And I cant find a damn PU scope for the life of me.

I don't think zombie damage should be nerfed but I do think the damage to the gear should be nerfed since in reality they are dead so they shouldn't be able to destroy your gear so easily. otherwise so far this game is great regardless of the glitchyness.
