Yes I was on the current .49 whatever it was when this was happening.

So, I was in a city running about and I ran into a police station and closed the door behind me and no other doors were open, so zombies shouldn't be able to get in. Next thing I know I see 4 of the damn things from like chest up running through the floor and EVERY single wall they come to?! I can't even get away from them at all because of their immense no clipping. I end up dying after about 7 minutes of running away and start yet again as a fresh spawn and I run into yet another building on the second floor and i notice a zombie follows me up there and is ACROSS THE ROOM and is hitting me? What?! I run outside even. Maybe 50ft away from said building and the zombie is STILL out of sight hitting me AS I SPRINT, MIND YOU. Another case of the same issue I had picked up quite a bit of gear, just haven't seem to have found a rifle yet, all I had was a pistol. I ran into the top floor of a tower at the airstrip and I all of a sudden get hit by something and hear a zombie? I run straight out the door and go in third person and there is no zombie there? I get hit again and begin running down the stairs thinking I am getting shot and just so happen to hear a zombie, no there is a zombie on the first floor hitting the wall and killing me. I did not die this time, but the fact it still happened is still upsetting. Is this just some recent issue or has this been happening this whole time? I don't remember the infinite attack range from zombies happening last month when I played this game.

I mean, personally I want to be friendly and all, but that's hard to do when you help someone out and they end up shooting you in the back. I don't WANT to be one of those guys that KOS, but about 80 hours of game time and yet to meet someone who doesn't take me help then attempt to kill me anyway is annoying. I've met 2 people that have been anything but hostile. One, we were both fresh spawns and we ran around together boxing zombies. made it pretty far. Till server restarted. Second guy i met in airfield. He saw i OBVIOUSLY had him dead and he put his hands up and i lowered my weapon and gave him a drink, bandage and a blood transfusion and he in return gave me a hefty amount of m4 ammo because he had a mosin and we went our separate ways.

I am somewhat new to the game, about 48 hours or so playing time, and I have had many encounters with people, more with people than zombies, and have yet to find one single person that doesn't end up killing me. (Excluding the people that have freshly spawned). I will see people and I can EASILY EASILY kill them if I wanted. I'll catch people looting a car with their back turned. Opening a door, eating food and looking the other way. I have had SO SO SO many chances to kill people, but I have yet to kill ANYONE without being damaged myself. Like just today I went to airstrip and saw a guy running from zombies, I saved him and he was weaponless. Well, me being nice I let him get a gun out of the building, because quite frankly I was way better equipped and the weapon was rather useless to me. I made sure to keep my gun lowered and let him have his space and what not. Well, Next thing I know he is laying on the floor in a room i go in and he shoots be breaking my leg and then runs out of ammo and I end up having to kill him. Or another time a guy with just a garden hoe attacks me and I said multiple times I will not shoot, my gun lowered and everything, I even offered to help him get started and he just charges me and i end up having to kill him too. I mean, I rarely die from the people that try killing me, but it's the concept of me saving them or obviously having all the chance in the world to just kill em there and choose not to and it seems EVERYONE still tries to kill me -_- Am I the only one that just seems to have this bad of luck with meeting people or should I just quit being nice, because quite frankly I am about to just start killing on sight(Excluding fresh spawns and weaponless of course) because it seems anyone with anything to hit you with, even if it's a measly shovel will try to kill you -_-.

Alright, so I have came in contact with zombies very very often as I just start out and have yet to find a gun and all I have is a melee weapon or even just my fist. Well, my problem is I will attack the zombie and you know move around dodging it's hits while trying to get my own that's all easy, but I will be hitting the zombie over and over and over etc. and It will not hit it. MAYBE once out of 30 it hits!? I have used just about every melee weapon in the game, from the garden hoe to the fireman's ax and even my fist. I will obviously be hitting the zombie and it will not hit the damn thing. I don't understand why. I'll stand still and you know get hit myself and I'll hit back right when they do and what not, still no hit.(And yes, I am aiming for the head) So, I think the accuracy for melee weapons is off, so I'll you know, hit the wall to see if it will hit where I aim. It hits exactly where I am because whatever I hit has an animation of something breaking right on my cross hair or at least RIGHT next to it. Zombies though, impossible to hit. I wouldn't find this a problem if I could run from the zombies, but from my experience it's pretty impossible to run from something that can see and run through every wall it encounters and the only time's i have ever have managed to escape a zombie was getting a lucky knock out on it and running just as fast as i could straight away from it. I see all these videos on YouTube of people hitting zombies every time like it's nothing and they will just run around a corner and break the zombies line of sight and be done, but I can't seem to hit any of my attacks, and I can't seem to break a zombies line of sight by running through houses, around corners, up stairs, down ladders and etc. -_- Am I doing something just absolutely wrong?? I mean I am somewhat new to the game and the melee thing and running from zombies is only seemingly an issue when you first start off because you are pretty much defenseless from them until you get some sort of gun. But I sure would like to know how I can properly run from a zombie and it not chase me around the earth or be able to hit them more often than not with my melee weapons.
