then why are guns and shit so un common? if it happened dayz before, then why is everything just GONE. there would be cars and guns every where, people and zombies too. and finding vehicles without parts is supposed to be how vehicles work when they are eventually added and optimized, and if its the apocalypse, most people would be dead, right? then why is everything so off? its a game, but things just dont add up. but thats why i love this game, it doesnt have official lore for the most part. you make the story up as you go. it could be something different every time, and could even change how you play (if you role play, that is) -
off topic, love the signature man. but yes, a hunting rifle is in the game files. its been leaked a while back. cant wait for the cr scoped. would give me an incentive to pick the useless piece of crap up when i have no gun. and honeslty, with a pu scope the gun wouldnt be so bad. neevr really gave it a chance to be honest. might go pick one up soon and use it as my primary for a while. would also like to see a pu scope or similar style scope for the blaze. would be a decent rifle with a scope, too

came into a room one time in Novo. guy was looking at the wall rearranging his backpack. when i saw him i panicked and shot all 10 bullets from my sks into him. i told him through direct i was sorry and he spooked me and his gear would be there with some ammo for his gun. still feel like a dick for that. i know that feeling, dying before even seeing ANYONE

How do I not panic/shake when I get in a gunfight?

try to stay hidden. if you see someone, and you dont have back up, dont go for the kill/contact. stay back, and if they see you and raise their gun, make sure you have a shot. see, dont be seen. i used to be the same way. it gets better and easier to control. this is the reason this game is so fun. you really get nervous when shit goes down! -
looking for tents and fnx w/mags also M4 Carry handle and other sights. will trade almost anything for them. have loads of gear between all the members. can make something work

Thank you! i found this just after posting. do you know how long it normally takes to get a response/solution? and thanks Preach, ive tried that before but it never worked. only ever got out by rolling or vaulting. it seems the room im in is big enough, but it also seems that there is a box around me. i was ona server and a hacker teled to me, and couldnt shoot me, bullets would just ricochet a few inches in front of the gun. until the fix i'll just try out exp again, thanks Steak!

ive found plenty of ak74 mags recently at vybor and NWAF. you should check after restarts, someone else might've hopped on and taken all the mags.

so what about my clan? we mostly pvp at NWAF, which is almost always strictly KOS anyway. we arent bandits. and what makes you say that? ive traded with a few people over the forums and never had any problems. just because members of my clan KOS often, doesnt mean i do. and KOS has nothing to do with trust. if i give someone my trust, im not going to turn on them and kill them.

me and my buddies havent been able to find many akms this update. found one today that someone had dropped. mp5 isnt too great. it looks cool, especially with the rdv1 red dot. but it takes up to half a mag to kill a zombie sometimes with desync and glitching. if it came down to chosing one, the akm would win all day every day. but if you were smart, youd put it in your backpack and stack them so you can hold massive amounts of loot ;D

i wont trust someone who's turned on their clan. even it shit went south in my clan, id just take my shit and run. no need to ruin my reputation over a few weapons but yes, im down. although half the people will probably be ambushed. now come to think about it, you might be a double agent. saying you turned on your clan but you really havent, leading us into certain death..... hmm.. dayz, trust really is a rarity, isnt it?

no... you can change your name to show up as anything in game. just click on your name in the bottom right hand corner, and type something else to change. so no, that wasnt dean hall. -

in order, FNX 45 with suppressor, mrds, and flashlight Magnum with speedloaders 1911 (engraved, of course) then the Makarov those are the only guns i use, the makarov and magnum are the ones i use most often. i can pick one up and just know im good to go.

yes, but to get any weapons or any good stuff, you have to hop onto a low pop or risk getting shot. i still go there occasionally, its my favorite city, even if it's over run by jerkoffs!

i am the same way, just the other day my clan members wanted to kill these players at NWAF, i said lets make contact first, try to become friends or tell them to fuck off. nope, didnt have it, but i guess that was all well, they ended up firing on us without any contact at all...... and died for their poor choice of going up 6v2 ;D but as a lone wolf i will tell someone im friendly and ask if they need help. if they dont respond after one or two attempts, i shoot them in the head because i know they'll just do the same to me. ive been killed so many times, but have also made a few friends along the way -

it is the server, i mean the type of perspective. if im going to play in first person exclusively, i will play on a dedicated first person server. and you have that the other way around, if im in a firefight with a guy using solely 1PP on a 3PP server, i will have the advantage, being able to see him first if hes coming around a corner or something, -
