I've seen rules ranging from what side of the road your allowed to drive on to where your allowed to build, some servers even going as far as to require you to beg admins for a "base permit" before building at all. I would like to play close to vanilla, but without server hopping or intrusive admins. Thanks!

Its a bug, set your video settings down to medium, then set them back to whatever you like.

Looks like you pasted your masters message twice. They have very "interactive" administration, they have also had multiple wipes. I would only recommend playing here if your friends with the admins.

Why don't you take some skins from other mods and use in vanilla? There are hundreds to chose from and we only get survivor and a hooded survivor for bandit. Female hero looks no different, but the picture in the journal changes without the character changing. There is soooo many awesome skins for females in arma 2 this doesn't make sense why vanilla is so far behind.

Just now battleye updated and everyone was banned from us434 vanilla server. Anybody from other servers experience this?

Bans were from "BP-scripts-13" but its been resolved and my favorite server is up and running smoothly again.

I once played on a server called Shadow Of Chernarus Elite 2.0 (http://dayz.mbnq.pl/) It was basically vanilla, with a few changes.. most of which increased the difficulty of survival. It had roaming AI, deadly radiation blowing in the wind from Elektro (so strong zombies didn't even survive there,) no side chat (trackable radios were used by some instead,) and also poineered things like drinking from wells, blood types, shooting out of cars, wooden splints, and much more.. I can't find a server like this, when it got shut down, people offered to take over the payments to keep it online, but it didn't work out :( Is there any dayz server left like this at all? I want first person, no crosshair, and so hard that (most) people NEED to work together to survive.

I've heard of people mentioning a place called Devils Farm, is that the POI far NW with the 2 military and 2 med tents?

Funny, I just watched a ad for Musty Gaming Epoch and they had a POI called Devils Farm that is what I thought it might have been. The ad was from 2013 so it must have been added to vanilla from Musty Gaming. Case closed :) edit: here is the video btw: https://youtu.be/qg0ZML-6dB0?t=3m21s

Is it possible to add an attachment to a g36c to create this gun? I found a 5.56mm suppressor but it didn't work :(

Normally I wouldn't ask this but I find infected camps often, but never seem to run into heli crash sites. Is there an updated map showing the locations?

It looks like you've already made map changes with the survivor camp and new airfield.

This doesn't show heli crashes, and it's quite out of date. I've heard of people using "Bean Coast" as a map, but its for iPhones and the like and can't run it.

Chance of vultures (or just any birds) circling dead players (maybe after 20 minutes.) Chance of flies (or just the sound effect) circling player not moving for period of time. Animals can be caught and harvested in bear traps.

Well I've got a G36C and it doesn't have the optics, maybe I was thinking of a different model. G36A (camo) has the dual optics, as well as the G36K. I was able to attach the 5.56mm suppressor on the G36C, and I do like it.. but it doesn't have the optics I thought I remembered.
