You guys missed the point. There is already ownership in DayZ, only the owner can pack or rest at the tent.

I have seen g36k sd. I'll try again when I find a new one, I found the g36c that didn't work in a stash so it could have been from before the patch.

I've never played standalone, but I keep hearing about something called CLE in regards to loot. What is it?

There has been no change to the eating sound. To me, DayZ is very immersive, and I DO sometimes get hungry or a craving for whatever I eat in game. I've also experienced utter disgust and anger at this sound. If someone wants to be a hero, please record sounds for eating different foods, and then we might have a chance at getting this changed.

Suggestions is the most popular topic with all DayZ players. Lots of good ideas, lots of controversial ideas. Don't waste time on those ideas. Double rainbows please! Seriously if you do not take this seriously than that's seriously serious! Just put a rare chance of a double rainbow !

I say leave it off the map, maybe not the hospital and office if you can help it, but something made after the map was drawn doesn't leave reason begging for it to be added. Post apocalyptic structures or places of interest should not be added to a map that could not realistically include them.

I heard that some settings set to very low or low can make FPS worse than if they were set to high. Has anyone found this to be the case? What settings should be set to high for FPS increase only?

For each fully upgraded fence segment, it requires 2-3 rough stone, 7 nails, and a lot of wood. I don't spend much time in coastal areas, but I find people there (with less to lose) to be friendlier and willing to take a risk in talking instead of shooting. In my experience with fights, 90% of the time, whoever spots the other guy first wins. Instead of shooting right away, its more rewarding (and much more fun) to call out in direct once you are aimed and confident you could kill him if he turns to aim at you. People you spare in this way may prove to be the most loyal of friends. The most unfriendly place I know of is NWAF, I have never encountered a friendly player there, and have got the jump on many people and given them a chance to be friendly. If you want to work together with someone, I recommend either talking face to face as a fresh spawn, or if you are north to try to not let them see you while you talk until they agree they are friendly. I have never had anyone claim they are friendly and then attack me in vanilla, although I know it sometimes happens.

Its not a default setting for vanilla, but its enabled for US 436. There are options like crosshairs, max vehicles, and many more that can be set in vanilla. I personally hope to see 436 give vets a chance to feel like bambis again, encourage cooperation, and provide an immersive hardcore survival experience where players are relieved to find other survivors. I consider violent thunderstorm as a good opportunity for attacking, or moving in dangerous areas. A simple detail that would only improve immersion and gameplay would be to make the dust clouds smaller (or shut them off completely) during rain.

I have tried uninstalling everything Arma and Dayz related twice, and just re-installed Windows completely--but I can't get any Taviana servers to work. I have DAYZ, DAYZ EPOCH, DAYZ NAMALSK, DAYZ ORIGINS, DAYZ OVERWATCH, and DAYZ TAVIANA (DAYZTAVIANA.COM) 2.0 installed thru DAYZ COMMANDER. there is also a DAYZ TAVIANA (DAYZLAND.EU) option in commander, but I have tried downloading that as well as the DAYZTAVIANA.COM version (i think its a different version?) before and it didn't help. upon trying to join any taviana server, i get the error that files have been deleted: tavi, kh_dayztaviana. I found a youtube video that said to add this to my additional launch parameters in dayz commander: -mod=@DayZOverwatch;@DayZ_Epoch;@Taviana­; nothing works, same error.. It seems like most people are able to just install and play? Am I just missing something so obvious that nobody bothered to mention it? Please help D:
