There are three kills in the video (alright one of those is nothing to be gloating about), and the title clearly states "THE ROAD to Elektro PVP", implying a journey to it. Did you actually watch the whole video? How can you possibly think there is one kill in the 10 mins if you did? By the way I agree with what you say in general about videos that highlight themselves as a PVP video. But I didn't do this, the title is clear IMO. I'm gonna bump this thread just once. I've never bumped a vid thread of mine before. This one has been my most popular video by far, but it's probably been the least popular in here, which is strange. Anyway, have a look at the vid if you want.

Sorry to spoil the Brokeback Mountain fantasies but it's clear that they have the Vybor spawn issue. I'd recognise that grass with my eyes closed and my bare feet on it! ;-)

I know! For me that was the best thing in the video! I have probably been in those houses thousands of times and never knew that. Even now I wanna check it one more time to make sure it wasn't a one off!

Good job! Still pictures look amazing if you can take a good one like a lot of these. Some great ones in there! I wish I could get youtube to look even one tenth as good image wise as those. The combo of fast movement and massive compression is not good for DayZ vids.

I think it's either lag or desync. I've killed him already but from his point of view he fires at the same time as me and so kills me too.

Yeah I've been shot at and killed by a guy that's already fallen to the floor unconcious. It sucks! I guess any online game has a little issue with that kinda thing though.

The Zombie thing really sucks! I guess I haven't had that many melee battles but I've never had this before....

Thanks very much! A few people have said that now about my voice which is cool. But like everyone I hate the sound of my own voice and so it seems weird to me!

I know it was really annoying. I was just too eager to finish him off and in those kind of really close PVP situations my brain still goes out the window sometimes! When I started with these videos I had the intention of not just putting in stuff that makes me look good and nothing else, this one highlights that somewhat I guess.

They certainly did their bit! Shame they had hacked mags and were duping their gear though. Yeah, I saw my companions video! lol

I was more getting at the "Arma 3 doesn't support large number of players" bit and querying it a little. I'm not suggesting things need changing. I effing love DayZ and have done since I found it (only in Jan this year), I wish things would move along a little faster but I still enjoy the game none the less.

Whilst I'm sure I'm missing something but I'm sure I played king of the hill Arma 3 last night with more than double the number of players you find in DayZ. The frames were better (even though I'm running Arma 3 on Ultra and DayZ on lower settings. Also there was jets flying around, choppers crashing, buildings exploding etc etc etc).Now I still found it boring and wanted to go back to DayZ because I much prefer the game. However my in game experience at this stage doesn't stack up with the above quotes from Rocket. I'm sure in 6 months time or so things will be different though. Playing the mod doesn't make you less likely to moan about standalone. FrankieonPC being an example of this. There are plenty that have gone back to mod because they can't stick SA at the moment.

I was hoping they'd shoot each other too, to be honest. I kinda expected I'd get some stick for it. I've played the game a lot and I've never combat logged once (aside from here is you want to count it). I am really comfortable with my "DayZ ethics" both in the video and in general. To me combat logging is when you remove yourself from the game and away from danger to retain your character and gear. I didn't do that, I did log but only when they made it impossible to talk to them as they were firing (their no doubt infinite clips) into the ceiling. They all came out of the glitch room and almost certainly had dodgy gear (what are the chances of 4 players who choose to glitch for fun all having genuine guns?). I was happy to stay up there taking the mick out of them but that became impossible. If I could run, I'd have ran off the building to avoid giving them the satisfaction of killing me. These t***s sit in their glitch all night waiting for players to come along just to KOS them, I didn't want to feed the trolls and did what I did. If it happened like that tomorrow, I'd do it again. What I didn't show in the video is that when I relogged I found 5 ruined high cap vests in the ATC on top of each other and about 3000 sks rounds (in 4/5 stacks only). I crawled them away and dumped them and then crawled to Krasnostav to fix my leg. It probably took me about an hour to do the above. When if I had I stayed with the "elite squad" i'd have bled out and they'd have got what they wanted and I'd have gotten an easy respawn which was much better for me than what I did instead. I guess some people have a "it's just wrong" no matter what policy. If I'd had even basic gear I wouldn't have done it but I think it's obvious my reasons for logging were not self preservation which is why people combat log.

I quite like the idea of rapelling to be honest. However ladders are deadly enough for me at the moment! Can I just check OP? In the 4th line of your post did mean to say this "something else a make shift net" or are you really that keen to make a bad net? ;-)
