I really liked the music and the way you edited it was really nice. Some cool shots with the SKS ADS too. However an intro that lasted that long would feel right on a half an hour epic type video, not one where it's nearly a third of the entire video. I think you could do well at YT mate if you stick at it.

lol! While we were sitting around the camp fire I went in to steam and found Hollis and sent him a friend request. Nothing came back and I was gutted. The next morning when I saw his name on my friends list I was made up! I hope to play with him again.

The first dayZ group of players I played with, had me in it, a Norwegian, Portugese and a German in it. It gave me a better understanding of accents! He could only have been German or maybe Austrian I guess.

Thanks! I really would have paid a lot to have bolts for that crossbow, I ran behind him for about 1 min without him knowing I was there, he was chasing the guy you see him shooting at in the vid and he would have been an easy kill.

For me it ran much like the normal game aside from one freeze where it went down to like 1fps. There was some none fps related issues a couple of times though after server restarts. In one there was hoards of invisible zombies and after another, I was wiped (joined back in too fast) and my character couldn't pick anything up but was immortal (I jumped off very high silos and lived x2). There was some bugs to be ironed out but the actual running of the game seemed about the same to me.

It would appear so! I didn't know that was possible either. I have had that happen with other melee type weapons a lot since 0.49

lol! It felt good to get away. Unfortunately this happened when the servers were restarting all the time, sure enough as soon as I got to the first building in Elektro, it restarted. I'd have loved to have gone back and killed a few before they got me!

How many times during your 2 days of banditing to loot up do you think you benefited from the no sound? I got killed last night by an AK in Elektro to the West of the church, I didn't hear a single bullet fired and my mate heard them all from the sniper hill. I got killed by a Makarov at Veresnik military base because I didn't know where the guy was as the only sound I heard was the impact of the bullets hitting me (could see the guy in slow mo on my recording of the game). The sound is really annoying but it is the same for them as it is for you. You will be getting kills where the other player doesn't even know what has hit them until it's too late. I guess what I'm saying is, make your point about the sound but don't make it out like you are the unlucky one as it no doubt will have benefited you a few times and you don't even know.

Yeah he said "this isn't going too well is it" or words to that effect. I kinda wondered if he was recording too. I was gutted to be honest as my other half came in and really put me off, I think I could have held him up, had some fun and then let him go but unfortunately I had to shoot him when he was down as she was muttering something about going in the shower and asking me to listen out for a phone call she waiting on. I don't have time for real life! lol

I looked at it for ages and decided it was the same guy. You may be right (I don't think you are) but when you capture a still from a moving image and then zoom it in that far you cant trust the colours as you are looking at very few pixels on something heavily compressed. On the still in vegas it didn't look green. You are looking at something rendered in vegas, then converted and massively compressed in handbrake and then compressed again by youtube. He had the same pistol and I think the gun on his back was an ak with no ammo, I'm betting he had a shotgun and swapped in the bedroom I found him in (as there was a shotgun on the floor). There were too many similarities for it not to have been him IMO, balance of probability and all that! Thanks for watching though mate. A bit of conspiracy doesn't hurt! ;-)

Agreed! I think that is a sensible rule to follow. I'm finding that doing YouTube is making me less likely to kill people. I've always been a friendly player, it's not because I'm trying to stick to that for videos. It's cos I enjoy making vids with player interactions more than the ones where I am battling it out with people, so I am taking more risks. Also because I had so much the upper hand when I walked in on him and then I gave him a bandage while he was bleeding and had none I thought that may have been enough. Maybe next time I will tell him to drop all gear before I give a bandage.

It does happen mate. But if they aren't friendly back a lot of the times you still kill them, if they are friendly back it can lead to adventures with people you don't know. Playing with someone new as a one off can be really cool. I met a guy from Israel in Elecktro the other day, we teamed up to kill a bandit and then went on an adventure. I could have killed him, but that would have been much more boring...Colonel burton, I agree. To be honest I was intending to log out, had the Mrs to pick up from train station not too far away and so I was in a hurry to get away. Didn't just wanna log there so was making a break for it.
