Lol yeah I can't KoS too, I usually feel bad idk. Unless I'm in a paranoia terror caused by NWAF, there is the no mans land imo, kill anything that moves in that place otherwise you are dead. I had made some friends in Balota too, we were both armed but idk what happened, neither him or me started to shot, instead we talked and then decided it was a better choice to loot that place togheter for we would have more chances of surviving that way. Nice fella, but the server restarted and I didn't remembered what server it was! -
Its the holy grail man. I have found 2 RAKs submachinegun, had like 5 magazines for it, I already had a mp-5 with 3 magazines too but I never could find the fucking smersh vest man. Its so rare its not even funny.

Well you throwed some nice arguments, I will try to go with a lower FoV and see how it goes man. I'm aware that I'm nerfed at distance, so thats why I double my care on being sneaky and usually try to close with my target, I'm not really a sniper type you see, I'm more of an assault person! -

This was never a problem for me. I can spot people far away easily with maximum fov but I do reduce it if I want to see something in detail, like when I suspect there might be other players activity or when sniping. It will not be a problem if, as you said, scout carefully the area you are about to go in and walk slowly. Plus, its much better for melee (3rd person is easy mode for it) since you have a lot more peripherical view and thus, easier to aim with the animations. That FoV bar is stupid, they should put the value in numbers, not that abstract bar. Fact is, this game with lower fov makes me feel sick. I have to put the maximum value or it is unplayable for me man, I cannot stand binoculars view and it makes me wanna puke/headaches. I bet I rekt you even with my fisheye fov lol :D Btw a bit oftopic but man, your videos are trully awesome! I love to watch them, you make some nice comentaries and are a trully skilled player imo. -

People run to much imo, it gives away your position so bad its not even funny. This is even more present on groups, I love to slay groups of people that seems to be in a hurry. Thats why I mostly lone wolf, I can survive much longer if I take my time and go alone. Also this is good to hear people imo, I usually hear them first and then see them, since I don't like to snipe. Oh and people who shot at zeds too. Never a good idea imo. -
Why nobody want to play in the night time?

Yeah if zombies wasn't a pain in the ass, I would only play on the night. In a RL situation I would sleep at day, and go out at night. Other survivors would be sleeping so it would be easier to avoid/kill/steal them. -
Stary/Novy Sobor are the places you are looking for to do this. Today I wanted to test how bullshit zeds can be and how big my patience is, ended up in these towns and mang I got mad pretty quickly lol. Started in Novy by the piano house, killed the zed outside with my axe but some othere fucker heard it. Killed him, bandage, another zed shows up. Kill him, and another one comes up. Rinse and repeat. Tried to get inside a house to bandage but zeds just start banging their heads on the house door and hit me, even I'm being far away from said door. Go outside, kill them and another one comes up. At this point I was already so mad that I said "fuck it", got my ak101 and unloaded my rage upon them, they start to come at me non stop. 60 bullets and more then 20 zeds killed I decide to take out the axe again and go with a bit more caution but seems like axe does the same volume of sound as automatic rifles. Kill zed > they respawn in the middle of fucking nowhere but due X-ray vision and binoculars they come right at me. You can't run because they are so goddamn perseptive, you can't hide because seems like walls/doors and you are the same thing. End of the story, clothes ruined, high capacity vest ruined, my patience ruined. I declare war on the fucking zeds, I will clear stary and novy sobor no matter what it takes. Such a fucked up respawn mechanic, DayZ seems to love artificial dificulty. I hope that in final game we get a lot less bullshit. Also I heard that it was possible to clear cities? Well thats a lie. I stood there killing these bitches for hours and they aways seems to come back. + Those zeds who runs like animals, they are a nightmare fuel. 2 or more of them + this "AWESOME" melee mechanics that we have now = certain rage lol. TLDR; KILL THE ZOMBIES, KILL THEM ALL

"use button also used for reload actions as opposed to leaving this to the reload button" Man this is so fucking annoying, why the hell does this even exist, who thought it was a good idea? Its the reason nº1 to no run without weapons in hand because I don't let a single door opened. -

Well, I tend not to kill any zed because of the respawn mechanics, so I usually lock them inside the houses and whatnot. The process is like, I agro the zed, bait him to chase me to a house, dodge him and lock the fucker. Sometimes after locking it he hits me from inside the house (I can be like 20m away from the house running like fucking Forest Gump and the goddamn thing still register a hit) and its aways in this situation, right after locking him he starts to attack the door or the walls of the house and it hits me! The solution for this is to simply jump (that V key), seems like this "updates" your location for the zed and he stops attacking my "ghost" that is inside the house with him. I find it very wierd that getting inside a building with the zed, running out and locking the door causes this. So if you guys try to lock a zombie, jump before you manage to lock him or he will fuck you badly. Might help with the "invisible" zed problem too, idk. Now the ones that you kill but hits you anyways... well, no way to avoid it, you just better be healthy and hope for the best. Since i've stoped trying to kill them, my clothes got all pristine and this, most of the time, is not a problem. But you can't aways avoid/lock the zeds right. -

Nice stories man, keep them coming! About friendly encounters, today I met a guy at balota airfield and it went surprisingly well for a encounter in a military place. The dude was in front of that camo building, I heard his footsteps and I laid low in cover. He goes running to the back of said building and I was hidding there, he had his gun out and so did I but I really didn't want to risk it all in a firefight so I greet him and he says "Watch out man fucking zeds", and I help him with the zed problem. The man kept his distance and weapons holstered while I was fighting the zed, which means he didn't have the intention to seize the oportunity and fuck me (and dude, I had a RAK submachinegun with ammo and a nice gear in general), and that for me was good to build trust on him. We talk a bit, and proceed to loot the airfield. Sadly the server restarts and I didn't even had the chance to know tha man's name. Really unusual situation for me, I look like a bandit with bandana on face, weapons out and shit, the dude was with civilian clothes but armed and we both in a high risk place and we end up trusting eachother in the end. Chernarus does strange things to people. -

I understand your point and agree to some extent, but aren't alphas expected to be boring? I belive that the fun can aways be found in the game mechanics aswell, like farming and shit. -
I aways spare the life of those who surrender for me. In fact, if the dude cooperates I will help him with whatever he needs. Never had someone asking me to surrender lol I see it as a way to not KoS, really like this mechanic

I'm not fucking kidding you, ok, lets test the great balaklava and russian helmets for they must have gamebraking bugs right. Maybe the firefighter uniform too, and lets not forget about that new rifle, we already got rifles in game but ok, lets test this new one too and then give b0lonce feedbacks to B.I. while the game is in ALPHA. I'm talking about game mechanics. Clothes are a game mechanic that works and are alredy in game, why we need variations of said clothes in alpha? Are you sure we need to test every fucking hat? Same with guns. Unless its some sort of diferent weapon that has diferent mechanics, like non-lethal shit, or craftable clothes. -

Hard thing to see these days, nice attitude man. My only fear over this game's development is about melee. Right now its one of the worse I have ever seen in a videogame, the animations on most of the weapons are a joke. Its the kingdom of inconsistencies in the game atm. I so hope they take that tracer system seriously and that every animation for non-axe/farming hoe weapons are a placeholder... -

I hope they make them proportional to the size of zeds/survivors... Would be nice for a change, that new building in Novo is ugly as fuck, I cry everytime I go in it. I belive these will not be any diferent. Well, at least we are getting diferent building models.

What do you think about the building interiors in this game?

So I'm here to ask you fellas if you also bother with how disproportionate the interiors of buildings in this game are compared to the zeds/survivors. I belive that one of the best examples of this are those red or green houses that doesn't spawn loot and has a little stair that leads to the living room, where you usually finds nothing. Notice how small those stairs are, it doesn't fit ones feet in the step! But the proportion problem is also present in every other interior, most of the objects like chairs, tables, hospital beds, ovens, refrigerators, cabinets... you get the idea. Are the interior objects placeholders, because maybe they will add funtionality to some of them? That big new building in novodmitrovsk, imagine if there was a fire in there and people would have to use them stairs, it fits one person only! At the top of it, the doors get annoying because when open, they block where you can walk. What it most affects imo are the graphic quality of the game, this is a thing that really breaks the imersion for me lol and it is everywhere! Also may I ask, how do I take screenshots? -

True man, it doesn't look so bad. Seems like higher fov highlights this issue, I tested here myself and with lower fov value the interiors doesn't look so bad, but I think that is because you "lose reference" of your body or any other "human" to compare with the scene so our brains go like "well this is gud, go on". Even on 3rd person, lower fov doesn't allow you to see your whole body so an interior scene doesn't look so bad. I mean, in the screenshot I posted you can see my shoulders and chest, so there you have a reference for the hospital bed. Notice how it even looks better on mr Haknslash pic then on yours Klesh, since he seems to have a lower FoV value then you. Those pic that my friend is with me shows a bit of the proportion problem in another perspective, so even if high fov highlights the problem, it means that it exist anyways right? It seems like I'm cursed to live with this uglyness since lower fov makes me sic :(. Good for the console people that aways roll with low fov lol... All this made me think about the graphical quality they will deliver on PS4. I mean, no other console game has such graphical problem. I still belive that this game's interiors needs some love. Well who knows, maybe in DayZ 2 lol. EDIT: I took 2 more screenshots, each one with a diferent fov value. See how the fov hides the proportion problem. Oh and be ready to some more potato lol I have this feeling that with higher fov, your "eyes" are in a more realistic postion. Its like, when I look down in real life it looks more like the first screenshot then the second one, idk lol. I belive that this pic here shows good why it looks better at lower fovs Theese 3 pics I took without moving my char/camera. Just changed the FoV value from the highest on the first pic, to the lowest on this pic here. The zoom effect that lower fovs provide, seems to be imo the reason why it may not look disproportional in ones view. But I belive that if you put a friend of yours by the side of an object, you will see clearly the modeling problems I'm talking about that imo curses this games potentialy beautifull interiors! -
Well OP, you can aways try to lock them inside a house. Its not 100% effective because some of them will phase through the wall, but this saved my ass a couple of times now!

Yes I use the highest possible value of FoV because otherwise I start to feel wierd playing this game. It is true that with my settings, this proportion problem becomes more glaring since there are no shadows'n shit to "hide" some of this things + this high FoV also doesn't help. But you see, this friend of mine that helped me with the screenshots, he goes with lower FoV and after we talked about this proportion thing, he can't "unsee" it lol. I agree with shrinking the char/zed models a bit, it would help a lot in this!
