Thinking about it now, this roadmap shows nothing about melee. I hope they plan to add more things about it, seriously.

The axe (not the fireman one, idk about it) got its animation changed, now it uses that terrible bat animation. You can see clearly how the tracers doesn't match the actual animation lol (the damaging tracer goes under the animation it seems), but its alpher right. Its cool that now you can 360 the axe slash, would be better if the tracers worked as they should. Can't wait for dat sword -

I like to walk alone because I walk very slowly. When I'm with someone else we usually run everywere and thats a good bullet magnet. I mean, in urban perimeters I just crouch walk and in a squad that could get boring for everyone I think. So I usually lone wolf for the steath value of it.

Its because of vehicles I think. Think about it man, a lot of people was just waiting for them to arrive because they don't enjoy the walking simulation part of the game. Vehicles are a great attraction for players, and a really nice oportunity to make them big monies you see. I'm not calling the devs mercenaries or something like that, but as a company thats how I would think. We still in capitalism right, big profit ahead me thinks

Holy shiet, this game is going to look so good man. This is an awesome feature, not only nice to look at but usefull aswell. I love you Bohemia Interactive, this game is worth its price imo, look at the jobs these guys are doing. Monster devs. Thanks for not making me waste my money! -

Well since you can't use any kind of backpack with the Ghillie suit, I say the Smersh Vest is really, REALLY usefull if you want to stay camo. But good luck finding one lol -
I doubt in the sense that I think its a very big problem present in almost every building in game. The building itself shows some scale problems as the objects inside of them too like chairs, ovens etc. So I belive its something really time consuming that most of the people doesn't really bother. I'm not saying that the devs can't or aren't capable of fixing this you see. I can provide more pics if you want, but if you put your fov high in a 3rd person server you will be able to see it for yourself. Since you will be looking at your whole character, its easier to compare it to the enviroment. Most of the buildings have this problem, some are not so bad but some others are really wierd, for example the house I posted in the second and third picture, every model of that house you can't use that door because it is tiny. Its interior is really cramped too, impossible for say, 2 people walk confortably inside of it.

This game has a serious proportion problem. Affects gameplay in may ways, no only these windows thing but your mobility in interiors could be A LOT better if things were proportional. I mean, look at this: More beautifull examples here: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/209236-what-do-you-think-about-the-building-interiors-in-this-game/ I doubt they will fix anything related to this.

Its very simple really (when they don't go invisible or get long range attacks due lag/bug). You just need to get the zeds attacking timing. Once you know his attacks timing, circlestrafing gets way easier man. You attack him, run with A/D while he will try to attack you, if you timed right he will miss, you stop strafing and hit him again. To totally avoid being hit, you gotta strafe before he windups his attack but not to early. Thats why you need to have in your mind the zed attack timing, how much is the interval betwen one attack and another. Against multiple zeds you gotta keep in mind that you will have to deal with multiple and timings, so you will have to strafe/dodge (due the lack of a parry/block mechanic) more then try to attack (its possible to fight 3/4 zeds without getting one single hit, but it takes some time and patience). Its just patience really, zeds are not formidable foes once you understand how they move/attack. DayZ melee is like Chivalry: Medieval Warfare where you indeed aim with the animations (tracer based melee system). Imo they need just to adjust the range and animations of some melee weapons. The tracers don't match the animations on most of the weapons, so thats why they "phase" through zombies. Man pitchfork for example, has ridiculous animations lol, I have absolutely no clue where the tracers on that weapon goes. Try to strafe and attack at the same time with said weapon, lols will be garanteed

Yeah I'm all for it to be rare too. We can have one or two old rare things like this, maybe even some medieval stuff, who knows. Imo this just adds depth to the game since it allows more roleplay alternatives, and this plays a ruge role in dayz. And, it would be realistic, to an extent, to have such things imo.

If thats your reason, then you shoudn't wear any army outfit you know. For instance russian and american army also did a shitload of atrocities, the army is in itself an atrocity imo. I also think its realistic, I mean, if an apocalipse happened, there would be nazi groups lol. There are aways fucking nazis to be hunted. I would love to hunt nazis in DayZ with a russian WWII uniform lol

It comes to a point where you explored it all, and zombies can be easy if you strafe enough even with the fucked up melee animations we have now, so there isn't much left to do if not try your luck and interact with other people. I also suck, aways loose in fair fights so I gotta ambush, camp etc to compensate my lack of skills with firearms lol. You say you only feel safe with 0 players, but it isnt a true apocaliptic experience if you feel safe imo. I like that feeling that death is right on the corner, kills the boredoom. Games like this can get boring i belive, pvp interactions are great to avoid the boredoom -

Yes, they could make the forest more dense with vegetation to make hiding things (and even camouflage) viable. We need better leaves on forest area you know, them forests needs to look more confusing then it is now imo. This can be extended to urban areas aswell, but the devs already said that they will improve them, now we need to know about the natural side of Chernarus!
