Not giving people free access to any gun they please must break the game for anyone who plays coop too? But not the bandits of course. They dont get these. How does not having magic break the game experience and make it unrealistic? You can put your gun down, salute, exactly what you say cant be done. Nobody was ever shot on sight except bandits. Survivors wernt even shoot on sight to bandits. You can find out a person reputation, sure. But you of have to heard of them first, dont you think? Its up to you to search for info on other people, not a game breaking mechanic that imposes another play style to be punished. Half the things in your thread arnt true in the least, as a fact, and the other half are opinions that are... In my opinion, bad opinions. Edit: To add to this, weve come across 1 person who was hostile, 4 who didnt care about us, and 3 who were friendly and joined our group. So yes I ask, why do you think everything is shoot on sight? Have you considered that youre blind and dont notice the people looking at you? You only notice the hostile ones because they make themselves known. -
Can we have better kevlars or at least let us find it?

7.62x51 round to the chest leaves bruises. We have half foot thick kevlar as it is. Why do you need more? -
The first video made me smile. You shoot the tractor until it catches fire, it explodes, and "were taking fire" because you heard the explosion. I dont see why you dont like tractors.

I would like it, but they wouldnt be able to drop weapons otherwise high tier loot would be too simple. Transport on the other end, would be nice. A slim chance there being vehicles though.

I wouldnt say that at all. Running hot for their entire lifespan is going to have an effect. Anything past 80C warrants the purchase of a new heatsink/fan. But as you said, it will survive up to 100C. As I already said, youre fine as it stands. -

57C shouldnt set off alarms. Youre safe (but its definitely not preferred) until you pass the 90C (194F) mark. 57 is reasonable for a CPU to be at with a stock fan, why youre getting alarms however, is a good question. Anyhow, dont be alarmed yourself. -
Ach, yeah. Friends have lost ATVs due to this in the past. Its something so apparent, but also an afterthought in the game.

The rollback seems to have bumped this back up, but Ill throw a brick at it before it dies again. As for the first bit, most people dont freak out because someone turned off the lights. In fact, many people find comfort in the darkness, as they cant be seen. And freaking out from zombies well... As far as story goes, were survivors, not people who woke up and saw people being attacked outside our bedroom windows. We would be used to it. And standing still... Well I dont go insane while sitting at my computer, now do I? Killing hundreds of people for being sick for target practice is fine and makes you a very good person, though if you even consider killing a single person for survival, youre clearly too unstable to handle the blunt end of an unsharpened pencil. -

Oh wow, so far one of the few good suggestions Ive seen. I like it a lot, though perhaps with the exception of the digestive bit. Seems a bit odd, but not bad. Though I would still prefer the nice 0-12000 bit for blood. Just realized it would fill depending of the amount of blood so nevermind, I like it -

So... Why are you posting this in the bandit section of the forum if it has nothing to do with banditry? This is simply you try to cause grief, not be part of the game. This is pretty much spamming in the board as far as Im concerned. -
This isnt a regular free FPS game. Guns actually do damage instead of leaving bruises. Its based on the bullet instead of what color the gun is, like most games. Its not particularly realistic to get shot by a gun 12 times in the chest and live to sprint away. And healing is fine too in my opinions

I think I have a solution to make all the people who dislike anything that has more range than the makarov. Play it like it a mod for arma and dont stand still in a field. Why is it so difficult for people to understand that if you keep moving, nobody rational will waste their ammo on you. I dont exactly find myself rolling over a pile of rifle ammo very often, so Im not going to waste 5 shots trying to shoot a moving target at long distance. Thats simply foolish, and they can easily take cover by then, otherwise they are the more foolish one. Simply because you people refuse to play smart, be that could be a "challenge", doesnt mean the game should alienate a large group of players. -
How many threads like this will be made? Bandits are balanced. If you run at speed in the middle of a field without being on the lookout, its your fault for dying, not the bandits. In terms the OP would more likely understand, its CoD or battlefield without any opposition. Ever play a multiplayer game in which 2 teams compete against each other, but only 1 team is allowed to play? If anything bandits are underpowered because they glow in the dark at night. I hear the same whining about snipers. If you stand still in a clearing throwing flares... The whining tires me. Edit: Though I should mention this. Bandits are KoS to ALL, including other bandits Survivors on the underhand, arnt even KoS to bandits, let alone other survivors Solutions: Replace all survivors visions with a black screen to make it more fair for the bandits

Twice just to be sure. pretty sure i never said i was a bandit, therefore never whined about being a bandit. I still have 4k humanity. Hopefully this clears up the posters lack of reading comprehension and the lack of the ability to string together simple sentences. Still the original question. How to other Survivors judge/perceive Survivors that group with bandits. As I see it, bandits are a necessity for small-large groups that want to be safe. If someone approaches you with a gun, its not enough for survivors to risk their 8k humanity, that must be some secret type of secret currency the way people hold onto it, but its enough for the less "kind" members. I normally go in a group of 4-5 and Im the only bandit, and yeah, I get a lot of shit for it, but I find that anyone who hasnt chosen to be a bandit, are far to trusting toward random survivors. When our shiny new helicopter is right around the corner. Just my opinions from a group Im with. Though I do get a lot of complaints about taking out well kitted players who give our group a funny look. Damn run on sentences. So because Im playing with a group of friends, said friends are considered "rogue" and KoS by you? Even though we avoid nearly all confrontations? -

Bandits (mostly, as I see it) arnt there to kill everyone to make them ragequit, like this idea would be nothing but that. What other purpose could there be in this? It doesnt benefit anyone whatsoever, and would anger many. -

Oh how I grinned. If it makes you feel better, Ill say youve made a good point and a huge impact on my future making of decisions about this game. What does an arma mod on an open arma map have to with anything at all, when youre complaining about the arma's map being too open. I ought to give up on this thread, seems some people cant figure out how their own point is valid for their own reason. -

All I hear by the people for this mod is that all battles should be within 20meters, and most of whom clearly havnt played the mod before, saying they get shot from 700m+, when the max range you can see at is 200-500m depending on the time of day due to fog. Snipers are already nerfed to a fraction of their power due to that. So you guys want all battles within 20 meters. Fine. Nerf the makarov while your at it, its effective at up to 100. Its far too powerful for you guys it seems. In fact, from your arguments, every single gun is wildly over powered, due to them being the least bit useful past 20 meters. Stop complaining about a mod for arma being a mod for arma. You say you dont want to get shot from long distance, well thats your own fault for running in the middle of the field. Go back to something like CoD if you want small close range maps. -

[/quote'] Ok so. You say vanilla attack range is 100-400 meters, and a good sniper engages at 600+. True enough. But you complain that an accurate rifle, the AKM, can fire at 200 meters can "snipe" you. Sounds like youre complaining about arma 2 being arma 2, not scoped rifles, which are nerfed to a max range of 500 meters due to fog anyways (which is acceptable)
