I can confirm there are 3 spawns at least since we got 2 MI-8 and 1 blackhawk after a restart yesterday. In total I found quite alot of sites, roughly 15.. The MI-8 don't seem to spawn proper loot for me tho and are hard to spot without smoke and beeing bugged into the ground. Imo it all depends on your farming route you choose and the way you do it. With proper timing and taking a closer look at the site itself, you can get some items there. My records in .49 so far are: 3 m4 1 ammobox 1 60 and couple of 40 mags 3 ACOG 2 m68 optics 2 Combat Knife And some other somewhat useful stuff.. So keep searching and don't give up :)

@Sniper-Wolf: This would help out to figure out people that abused it once, true. Kind of reminds me on the scamming system in old d2jsp forums.. However, this would only help pre-emptive against people that broke the "codex" once and considering the increasing population, the amount of people abusing it would also increase at some point. We all know how much time it takes to get very rare loot and I wonder if we all want to possibly lose it to someone "unknown". I rather want to check if there is room for an ingame solution to make scamming this way impossible. @Red_Ensign: Yea, we all can do it, but kinda the same like my response to Sniper.. you never know how new people tick and if they kill you or not.. It helps the trusted traders and 2 of the 4 in your sig also belong to my trusted list, however it turns out the same way.. try to trade with a new or unknown person can result in your own death. Trev lost his RAK73 last patch to a person that is well-known in this forum and his item was actually very very very rare back then. Quite a few people fake to have such rare items and ask for a trade.. mostly it's the unknown people and what do you do then? Well.. risk or no risk, that's the question..

Not directly a result to his action today but after I talked with a few of my trusted traders and listened to their thoughts, I decided to bring this up in general. I guess them killing me today just made me think about it again, so why not suggest it and look out for pro's/con's.

It's up to you if you believe me or not. I don't record all shit I do, most trades I did were smooth. Maybe you should just do a trade with him and find out aswell or you believe me and the persons that vouch for my credibility ;) As I had a bad feeling with these guys anyways I stored my stuff before going to their location, so I didn't lose anything except for the m68. Just sad that my bad feeling was right once again.

Simply don't go to airfields alone, especially the NWAF since there is the Vybor issue. I rather kill people than reveal a weak spot and get shot myself. Been way too nice already and always got paid by beeing backstabbed.. unless I'm running with a group of my fellow clanmates and that way feel a bit more secure, I think egoistic. Even with a group it sometimes turns out to be weird.. just like 2 days ago when we went to Vybor with a group of 6 people on our own server to check for Bandits that slaughter the poor freshspawns there.. we ended up to collect about 6-7 other fresh spawns there and gave some food and clothing we had stored and even let the one guy with his blaze alive, as long as he didn't take it up. In the end another spawn k.o.'d that guy, took his blaze and killed one of our people. To be honest, that robs me/us the faith to be nice in general. Be it guys like him or another one that raised his pickaxe while beeing surrounded by 6 geared players. That's dayZ in its current form, learn to live with it or take measures against it by teaming up.

The static crashs are gone indeed, however, the similar (MI-8 or something like that, non-smoking) crash sites are spawning on the usual crash site routes. The SMERSH-vest is obtainable by finding those sites which are slightly bugged in the ground like police cars.. it's quite a rare spawn but I've seen 2 Vests so far.

Hey People. So did anything happen today? I've read stuff about the update which should happen and the wipe that should come anyways today. Any news or clarification about that would be appreciated.

The general hacker situation is out of control. Either way you play on a very low populated server and pray for the best or, in case your server fills, you get the possibility of hackers. Yesterday we did another PvP session in Hackervalley (guess what town it is..) and once we killed a few people our sniperpost was disarmed and unclothed within a few seconds, then shot a moment later. Make it 60 seconds and we were all dead in the bay down the hill. A few of us also lost their gear before actually dying. The power of hackers is absurd, they can avoid the anti-cheat-engine and we actually talked to someone that was obviously using hacks as he was flying/speeding/disarming us while talking on voicechat. When we mentioned the upcomming purge he said that his paid hack already got the update infos scripted and that he's not worrying a second. He even offered to check the crashsites quickly as it would only take him a few minutes. I don't mind them to reset the stable hive.. however, I'm very afraid to lose all my new earned gear to someone that just wants to "gear up" with those stupid tools. Honestly.. I'm not very attached to my gear, but if I have to lose it in any way, I want at least have a glimpse of a chance to defend myself.

Guess what, when they wipe the servers with the upcomming patch, those people will get out of Berezino cause they cba to farm gear on their own! Cya at NWAF or whereever else.

The wipe will clear every player that achieved some gear the legit way and as well stored precious gear on additional characters. +1 for fixing dupes and bugged ammostacks, even if I don't even care about it. It's easy to kill people with infinite ammo as they're usually playing according to their gear. As an ultimate result, hackers for major gearsellers will have a happy fun time again, teleporting from player to player and picking up the good things, just like yesterday, when my whole squad was wiped by a person that appeared out of nowhere and disappeared after running 3 steps. So it will just be like before, another 100 hours of searching gear, prolly pvping to get the good things, until you hit that one unlucky server and lose it all in an instant. After all, hackers won't care for wipes.

Hey people. So I've just been to NWAF with a friend of mine on a low populated server. We saw 5 people with the same clantag beeing on the server and even met them on the airfield. We killed two of them and saw a third one fleeing. While following him, my friend was killed and I've been seeking for further vengeance. I managed to kill at least 4 of them in total, even thought I got them all when my mags were empty after aggroing a dozen of Zeds and finishing them off after desperately trying to bandage myself when another guy that seem not to have died or just arrived shot me. When another friend of mine joined the party and just spotted the one that shot me and tried to kill them, they removed people from the server and put a password on it. Beware of this server, this way we couldn't even have a chance to regain some of our loot (as there was plenty with that dozen of corpses there). Sad that puberty kids have such a power to shut off their own server when they can't live with themselves beeing killed in a very dangerous zone. In case you intend to keep this offer up for a bit longer I'll go on the search for a tent tomorrow or monday. I've found 2 so far, so I expect to find another one within reasonable time.
