Got kicked aprox 25 times today from public servers. The last one I was on reset my gear when I joined another one. I reported that server, outcome will most likely be the same. If I would report every of those servers, I would be writing emails all day long. So sad that there is no way to directly report servers ingame. Would solve the problem immediately. Anyways, have my beans. Edit: Actually I experienced more of an abusive behaviour when admins wanted the server for them and their 2-3 buddys. I simply avoid whitelist-pubs as the outcome would be the same.

Been playing dayz again for about a week. The last time I've been playing was a few months ago, while hackers were still overwhelming. Credits for reducing them to an acceptable minimum, however, a new plague is arising: Retarded server owners. Whenever I try to connect to kind of low-pop servers, you get kicked most of the time. Even on server I play regulary on, they randomly kick almost all the population to soft-restart it and keep it with their 2-3 people. Is this allowed now due to the introduction of private shards? Is it allowed now to rule public servers like that, some even with descriptions like: "join=kick" or "clanserver xyz, testing - don't join". One thing in advance.. Please don't close this with the related topic of how to report servers. I know about that and did it in the past. Been reporting about 10 servers to hosts, however noone of them was ever closed. I have the feeling there are more server owners of that kind now than hackers a few months ago. Other impressions welcomed.

Hello people. I've installed Arma2, OA, PMC and the DayZ Mod a few weeks ago and played for a couple of hours on some server I found on the serverlist. Yesterday I wanted to play with some friends on the Mod Overwatch.. I downloaded DayZCommander and installed Overwatch via that application. Now, after everything is done, I'm stuck on "Waiting for Host" whenever I try to join a server. Does anyone know the reason or possibly a fix for that? Thanks in advance.

Why should they reset the hive all the time to obviously not fix things that are ingame mechanics? To solve Vest-stacking they should either way implement weight consequences (as mentioned in dev-stream before) or fix it by making vests impossible to stack into others. What help would a wipe give if they would implement any of those possibilities? If you carry a ton of vests but get hyperthermia quicker that way or simply move like a truck in a meters snow.. where would you need a reset for this? Man, you're bothering with nonsense stuff way too much. I've seen your hacking crypost and wonder if all you want to bother now are "negative" aspects of the game. Yes, there are hackers, but they've became more rare as various script glitches were fixed. A simple google search for SA hacking won't give you actual data of current undetected and usable hacks. The devs are also aware of what's going on in the underground hacking society and I'm pretty sure they have people analyzing such hacks by simply buying them. You are playing an alpha version of this game, by clicking "I understand" every time you actually start it. As long as this game is not into late beta or close to release, you will always have broken things that need to be worked on. There is a simple word to describe this kind of evoluton: Progress. Live with it or come back at a later stage.

Not sure what you're doing but with all the vybor spawns the NWAF is like the biggest playground of all. I picked up a friend in vybor, went to the military base nearby and while he was looting the first barracks I had to use my m4 twice already. Later on we ended up at the NWAF, adding one of our snipers to our group and saw a mass of at least 8 people running all over the airfield before we got into a proper position to scatter them. Sure, this is not happening frequently, however, I meet quite a few people in the west, even when hunting choppers towards Zelenogorsk.

Hello fellow survivors. After another unsuccessful trade today, ending with my death, I wonder if it's worth to discuss about something like a safe zone which there are on the Mod-Epoch servers. In general the idea behind this is simple and can be summarized pretty fast: - The biggest aspect of this game should be surviving and teamplay. Right now surviving is easy and teamplay is not necessary unless you want to check for high traffic spots or want to be a Bandit. However, I expect this game to be more team-dependant once vehicles and possible bases are introduced, as well as various other things that might come up which make surviving harder. Following this thought, I really wish for a trading zone within DayZ SA. As it's very time consuming to get all the nice things to make surviving (or whatever playstyle you prefer) easier and considering the randomness of itemspawns and the actual luck based factor of people running by precious and rare loot, it would make the world easier if people are able to trade without worries. It's a stupid feeling if you trade with someone and always have to worry about beeing shot, no matter if the trade is successful or not. There is hardly any way to punish actual gearscammers that shoot traders for their own profit. They simply create new forum accounts, add some avatars and do a few spamposts over a few days.. once that happened you're pretty unable to see if a person is honest or not. With the introduction of a safe-zone you would be able to shut down all these nasty people and make life for people that want to socialize by trading easier. The biggest con about this idea is the idea about the place itself. How do you realize a location like that, without making it vulnerable to abuses like people hiding in there or camping the entrances on high population servers.. I'm open for idea's at this point, so feel free to contribute in any ways.

Since even honest traders start small at some point and need to gear up their own reputation I would support something like trade windows. Maybe it would be possible to tie up stored items within tents with the steam-inventory and that way beeing able to trade them without meeting ingame.. just like trading skins in CS:GO for example.
