Persistence is back, together with the legacy loot system.. Same confused loot as on any other server.

We decided to turn off Persistence for the time beeing, until they hotfix the general loot situation.

Yes.. quite a few.. but they are mostly empty.. if you're lucky you find something but nothing compared to the ones without persistence on 0.54

May I ask why your server restarts sometimes just 20mins after another restart happened?

Camping tents spawn all over the place.. deer stands, near trucks, in residential houses.. seen a couple so far.

Wish you would properly find food lol.

Sorry for your loss trev, but what Mookie mentioned is the reason why I and some mates rolled out on private hives now. We packed our tents and stored the stuff on various characters while they have to purge the plague again.

I just had a 3 hours correspondation with a support guy from battleye and we figured that this specific issue is located in the followups of the windows update KB3004394. To erase this update do the following: Control panel -> Programs -> Show installed updates -> Enter "KB3004394" in the search bar -> uninstall it. For me it caused that almost all windows updated since 11.12.2014 were failing or not completly installed. After removing this I was able to launch and connect to dayz again. Thanks to the support of battleye and Steak and Potatoes / AmberHelios for helping me find and fix almost all possible error producing sources. I hope some others can fix it this way, otherwise contact [email protected], they will note this issue and most likely do some FAQ for it.

That happened already days ago Boneboys, however I didn't get a single reply there yet. Can't you imagine that people can get kinda desperate when the game stops working from one day to another?

Well, whatever you did there Greenbury.. I tried that 2 days ago already and it didn't fix it. I have the same visual symptons like you, but it still won't start.

I think opinions may differ there, but yea.. lets see what the bugtrackersupport says... I currently think about a system rollback to the day or 2 days before it stopped working.. however I still feel the issue is rooted in wednesdays update.. Edit: well.. that didn't help either..

Nope.. already tried that. Nothing seems to help. Edit: btw.. credits to you bud. Helping or at least trying to help people without beeing part of the dayz staff.. If I could credit you in any other way I would do it. At least there are helpful people, while the ones that should bother with it keep quiet most of the time.

Well, I closed it and it didn't start yet.. Now I reinstall it after starting steam with adminpriveleges and closing razer synapse.. Don't get any point tho why this would affect dayz in any ways.. especially since it worked before wednesdays maintenance and never argued. Edit: No, it still doesn't want to start.. this is driving me insane.. We even bought a server on monday to avoid all this admin abuse and losing characters thanks to that.. Seems like this was another great investment.

How is Razer synapse connected to battleeye? I have razer synapse 2.0 and have the same issue like the opener..

I've tried a dozen of fixes now and nothing helps. The only thing I could do is redo my whole system and that won't happen because of dayz. Every other game in steam works, except for this. It was working the past weeks, also yesterday till I logged around midnight. Today they do some clientpatch and nothing works anymore. I've reinstalled the game 5 times now, been doing systemtroubleshooting, reinstalling directx, vc2010+2013, admin privleges, tried the -window startup thing.. Guess people like me and most likely others will have to rot and wait for a miraclous update. My prediction is still the patch today.
