This happens when on the server side, the collision mismatches, thus the server thinks you are below the floor and you fall to your death, yet on the client everything seems ok, until the server fires the (what he thinks death) to your client and you die. This should imo be their priority 1 bugg to fix, it's because of this bugg that i have stopped playing for now. I love to climb up in towers, cranes or to be high up in apartments and use a Mosin but with this bugg existing i can't, it can take 1 min or 10 but i always get it.

Would actually rather see horses then vehicles. Cowboy hat + horse + "the repeater" = awesomeness.

Neutral but sometimes a bandit, i like to break other players legs, rob them and then leave them, giving them the ultimate survival challenge.

I think desync fall deaths have become more common since 0.49.

Is this the bug where you from nowhere die or break your legs when higher up then groundlevel? Hoped they would fix that in 0.49, i really hate it since my playstyle is as a sniper, not being able to climp up in cranes, towers or to be on the second+ floor in buildings sucks ass, i don't know how many times i've died from it. Add to this that a new bug came with 0.49 which makes you unable to hold your breath when using a long range scope. Got to love alpha phase<3 -
The most annoying bug there is, have died once to many from it :( But yes, the development of this game has been anything but fast.

This is really breaking my balls, just got the same bug on top of the police station in Svet. There's really no point gearing up in this game atm, either your character gets reset when logging in or you die of one of the gazillion bugs in the game...

I think they should be slow, but more lethal. I also think there should be hordes of them, like in H1Z1. -
Yesterday me and my brother was camping in the cranes in Svet harbor and out of nowere my brother dies, no gun shots heard. 10 sec later i die, yet again, no shots heard and where i was lying it would be impossible to shoot me. So we run back to the harbor, my brothers body is UNDER the crane and mine is still inside it, so we loot our gear and climp in to the same crane and it only took a few seconds and then i died out of nowhere again. According to my brothers screen it's like i got pulled out of the crane, falling through it. So i run back, this time my gear is however in the middle of the air under the crane, unable to get it back.

What's the current hacking status like in DayZ:SA?

In august alone i've encountered ~14 cheaters (teleporting, shooting through several buildings etc) and atleast 20+ players that has magazines with unlimited ammo. The current state of DayZ reminds me of CS 1.6 public servers back in the day, it's barely playable. The thing that hurts the most when getting killed by them is that 90% of them sound like 12 year old kids. -
God i fucking hate people that kills on sight, they should stick to CoD, CS or BF4.

As the topic says, why do you so often not get your weapon, axe or whatever you have on your actionbar up when you press it's keybind? Sometimes it requires 5+ clicks before coming up and sometimes it doesn't work at all so you need to go in to the inventory and do it manually. So what causes it? Im bloody furious now because it just got me killed.

Write "restart" in your server filter and select a low pop server that restarts every 1-2 hours and you will be geared in no time.
