Welcome to 7 months of Alpha Testing with little to no improvements of big problems.... How may I help you? You missed the point. Some of us who just as strongly wish success for the game believe there are some indications that development is not on par. I hope Im dead wrong and the controls and desync are fixed in the next 8 months. If not, it will not be good for anyone.
He has a point about the god awful akward and uncreative movements and controls of melee. Hopefully, this will be improved. It is so frustrating that Dayz is the most exciting game concept to me but still has the worst controls. Its like finding 100 pounds of gold but finding out its radioactive to the point of being worthless. Im not saying Dayz is too but I feel so frustrated about it because I love the game concept and wish Bohemia success.
Wtf? Are you saying you never had this problem until last patch? You have to be joking. Its been the biggest issue in the game long before last patch. How much did you play before last patch?
I cant wait to see a zed finally not walk through walls. I will be so damn happy its not even funny. And once they stop getting ridiculous hits on us while facing wrong way. Omg. Im gonna freaking thank Jesus Christ almighty. I
Perfect explanation. But the question remains, why was this design ever implemented in the first place? It is so severe that I cant imagine anyone not knowing it was a bad idea. I have never seen a game where hitting a button was a total crap shoot. I assume because the game was just a mod? But why not desing controls based on how the arma egine already handled controls?
You missed the point. I was asking if all decisions are being made by Rocket and are his inexperienced ideas not being challenged or being dicussed by the developers. This would totally explain the slow progress and strange priorities we have seen.
I dont understand this strategy of game development. Are all the decisions being made coming from the concept creator and not being discussed with industry proven game developers? I ask because I believe that experienced game industry people would have strongly argued against the idea of persistent items across all servers. It will be a nightmare. This idea proves what a bubble the executive guy is in. This is really bad news guys. This explains a lot about what may be the issues with this awesome idea of a game. I really hope that some more experienced directors will get involved in the game. For one thing...... People will hoard items . Even worse, they will sell them on craigslist.
This why it sucks so bad that there are not 50 zombies in every village. We only see 4 so there is no threat but people. Lets pray to baby Jesus that this game starts seeing some real improvements and a lot of this issurs of pvp and no role playing will be resolved.
I cant even hit targets with fully geared mosins if they are moving since the last patch. And Im not talking about the sway..... Im talking about how the desync got worse and with the nerfing of mosin, you need at least 2 or three hits to take a dude down. I cringe every time there is a patch coming. The only positive I can see coming, is that zeds may stop going through matter.
