Most I've got is 97, I can't stay alive long enough lol. Seen someone with 2000 z kills, didn't think that could be possible unless hacking, or just pretty good.

I tried that on UK9, got myself into the barracks, only for a prone bandit to wait for me to leave....he shot me, yet I killed about 10+ Z's to help him too. GRR

Are you using six launcher to play the game? If so once you've picked a server close six launcher, that helped me slot.

Right..... Today I found a tent in berezino, placed it in the Forrest north, emptied loot except a few items, then went on a scavenge hunt, found more stuff, ran back to tent and realised its too open. So I run 3km with tent, place items, run back to get the rest of my stuff, thought id get another gun i left in berezino market, got killed... Ran back to find killer, couldn't find him so I ran to my tent.....what tent....it's disappeared. All my hard earned loot is gone and so has my tent. Ran 3km back to original placement, not there, so I wonder if it's on a different server as I do remember swapping once. Nope not there either. Did I place it wrong? I know I pressed save tent. Now I gotta find myself a new tent although I might just leave my loot in a pile. Just in case the tent goes walkies again. If I did will that disappear too? Sorry for the moan.

People quit playing games all the time without feeling the need to post a whole thread about it on public forums. Funny how I was prone and about 3 metres from a crouching z, he didn't see me. I spend a lot of time prone, not because I like stealth, but because after running into buildings and a z Breaking my leg, I have to.

City chat is a good idea, I like it, many a time I've gone out of range and unable to chat to people. that would most definitely help.

True, but I'm talking mainly about sidechat, 'you in the pub, friendly?' and usually get a good reply, so I know to avoid or band up, now I'm just running in places, see someone, shout friendly...just passing through and get shot. if I know a player's is about and a threat, ill ask friendly (if close enough) and decide on killing. I do miss side chat.

With DayZ being in its infancy it can't happen soon, but I'm sure once our bands of survivors have established ourselves, bandits permitting, we'll expand and explore the continent further. I'm guessing the map can be expanded depending on which direction the game takes later on. I'd love to explore bigger cities, maybe something like Atlanta in Walking dead, but atm I'm just happen to play a game that I've been waiting for, for donkeys years.

I agree, by the time I've got close to ask, they've turned and shot me. I don't mind going back and starting over its the name of the game, trying to survive etc, but I bet half of the people that have shot me are friendly, just scared I'd shoot them. I've met some good folks using the side chat, and formed groups with said feature. Now I'm just a lonely survivor, shouting friendly when I'm near some dude hoping not to get shot. I find building.relationships is a key to trust, me shouting "im friendly" isn't always a trust builder. I've met with someone who said they are friendly, then after a minute has killed me for my loot. Knowone trusts knowone atm.

Maybe download and use sixlauncher, and try it....lol

Yeah, exit six launcher/updater once you have connected, worked for me like a charm, now I have no lag.
